Chapter 7: An epic battle; the Hydrophis Spiralis vs the aggressive Piranhas!

Bzzz!

Seeing the purple liquid come out and solidify to form the thick shield, instantly all 5 aggressive Piranhas became even more restless and aroused.

These 5 Piranhas became more aggressive as they saw the shield.

“Kill!” “Kill!” Kill!”

They roared aggressively as a red mist suddenly surrounded them.

Before they could do anything, the now incensed sea snake already started its counterattack as its long body rose up above the Piranhas.

It opened its mouth the next moment, exposing its deadly fangs.

“Magic Gland: Venom Spray!”

With its mouth opened and its teeth exposed, the sea snake attacked the next moment as more of that dark purplish liquid came out this time from its teeth as it sprayed out like water coming out of a shower.

This thick liquid touched the body of the 5 Piranhas and their skin sizzled as it started corroding.

They became even more angry and aggressive.

Not just that, they gained a blood-red hue.

And with more red mist coming out, surrounding their bodies, this group of 5 Piranhas suddenly seemed to become a group of 5 Berserkers.

“Kill!” “Kill!” “Kill!”

They pounced on the shield aggressively.

Their terrifying teeth bit down with force, grinding hard against the purple shield as sparks flew everywhere even as the angry sea snake kept on attacking.

The snake bit one of the Piranhas, injecting venom into its body but this only made this crazy fish angrier as it attacked with even more ferocity.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

A loud sound reverberated the next moment as the shield cracked before shattering into pieces.

The Piranhas did not miss a beat as they charged in instantly.

The sea snake was pissed off but it was exposed.

CRUNCH!

All 5 Piranhas dug into its skin as they took away large chunks of flesh with them as this sea snake reeled over in immense pain.

“HISSS…!”

“Damn pests!” The sea snake roared angrily.

The Piranhas seemed to not give a damn about its words as they lunged forward for another terrifying attack but the sea snake reacted this time.

“Magic Gland: Venom Injection- Hormone Boost!”

Bzzz!

Purple mist came out of the long body of the sea snake the next moment as it seemed to enter another gear of power, then just before the teeth of the deadly Piranhas could make contact with it again, it moved.

Whoosh!

This time, she moved so fast that she left afterimages behind.

The Piranhas paused, confused having lost their prey.

They could not react to what followed next.

“Magic Gland: Venom Bomb!”

Even more of the thick purple liquid came out of the sea snake’s body. This time, at such a large quantity that dwarfed the previous time.

Before the 5 Piranhas could react, this concentrated venom rushed forward before sticking to their bodies as they became engulfed in it.

Just a second later, the venom detonated.

All 5 Piranhas were injured as their blood dyed the water a murky red.

They suffered deep injuries as the venom seeped deeper into their bodies but at the same time, the sea snake now looked exhausted than ever before after unleashing that powerful attack.

The Piranhas noticed this exhaustion and it seemed to motivate them on.

They ignored their injuries as their eyes glowed red like mad fishes.

They lunged at the sea snake again.

“HISSS…!” This sea snake felt even more enraged.

“Damn pests…!”

Creating its shield again at the nick of time, it was barely able to keep the Piranhas out as it finally started showing hesitation in this battle.

It was already weak and against the Piranhas’ tenacity, it finally decided to run away from this battle but the Piranhas were determined to make life difficult for this snake as they stuck to it like glue.

The sea snake felt more and more enraged. “Damn pests…!”

“I’ll kill you all!”

Hidden in their hole, Eliot and brother were totally amazed and stunned as they watched this epic battle transpire before them.

Despite the epic nature of this battle, Eliot’s discipline enabled him to stay alert to his surroundings and this enabled him to detect the next unexpected guest first before any of the others.

He noticed movement from afar then he started hearing mutterings.

“Magic Gland: Concentrated Electro Blast!”

For a moment, this water seemed to turn dark.

For a moment, Eliot felt like for some stupid reason, he somehow strayed past the safe limit zone close to a high-tension electricity transformer.

A powerful concentrated blast of blue electricity traveled from afar.

The speed of this attack was so fast that no one could react.

One moment, the sea snake was still struggling with the Piranhas, trying to escape from them and the next moment this blast of electricity burst through its head as its previous imposing head became a bloody mess.

The sea snake died on the spot!

Having spent most of its energy fighting the Piranhas already, the snake simply didn’t have the energy anymore to defend against this assassination attack.

In the end, it lost its life because it let its guard down.

The Piranhas were stunned for a moment, seeing the prey that they had been hunting since suddenly lose its head as they briefly froze in shock.

This moment decided it all.

“Magic Gland: Electricity- Speed Dash!”

Electricity cackled again…, and an intruder appeared.

The assassin was here.

The assassin stood before the Piranhas and the dead sea snake, it already claimed its food and at this moment electricity cackled around it threateningly.

In the end, they started retreating slowly even as they kept on growling. Throughout, the eyes of the giant electric eel were fixated on them.

Yes, the assassin from the dark was an Electric Eel.

After retreating some more, the 5 Piranhas suddenly turned, dashed away and disappeared into the hidden parts of this water body.

As for the eel?

It grabbed its kill, looked around before dragging it away.

The battle was finally over.
