“Grandma, you really don't have to do this!”

“I mean how can any of you actually believe that I stole Lisa's blue diamond necklace?”

“I really don't know what she is talking about, I haven't even seen her with any blue diamond necklace before.”

“The only reason why I was near her room was because I had to pick up something for Betty yesterday and I didn't even get close to her own room.”

“Liar!”

“You are a bloody thief Jack and today you will be finally exposed for who you are!”

Evans said as he grabbed Jack Adam's box and heaved everything on the floor and began searching frantically for the so-called blue diamond necklace.

“Search properly, that blue diamond necklace has to be in there so how!” Lisa said pointing at the box.

Moments later, Evans was done searching all of Jack Adam's boxes.

“Grandma, there is really nothing in here, I have searched twice.”

Just then Jack Adams' eyes caught a glimpse of something shiny on Lisa's neck.

“Wait a minute, isn't that your blue diamond necklace that you are wearing?!” He asked, his face etched in anger.

“And if it is, what are you going to do about it?!”

“Consider this a payback for all disgrace and shame you have brought upon us!”

“Now you can pack your bags and get lost forever!” Lisa said, staring disdainfully at Jack Adams.

Jack Adams slowly stared at Lady Nicole and back at the rest of Thomas's family before kneeling to pack his clothes into the boxes.

Two minutes later, Jack Adams is standing in front of the Thomas family mansion waiting for his cab.

“Hey Jack, we know that you are poor and very wretched so have this one dollar bill, it's actually a gift from Nathan Leonard to you.”

“Go on, have it, maybe it will help you pay for your cab fare!” Evans said as he tossed the money to the face of Jack Adams.

“Why is he acting as if he doesn't need the money?”

“Jack, if I were you, which I will never be, I would do myself a favour and pick up that one-dollar bill!” Lady Nicole added from behind causing her family members to burst into a burst of uncontrollable laughter.

“Where would you even stay, Jack?!”

“I hope you don't plan on joining the madman under the eastern bridge?!” Evans added as he laughed out loud almost falling to the ground.

“It's none of your business where I stay.”

“Like I said, I just hope you people and Betty don't regret this decision of yours.”

“We are not going to regret throwing you out, Jack Adams.”

“You bear the name Adams but it seems yours is the poor version because the name Adams is affiliated with the great Adams family in Snowville City.” Mrs Susan, Betty's mom said.

“Don't even go there Mrs Susan, Jack is in no way related to the great family of the Adams.”

“He grew up in the orphanage and I guess it's the orphanage caregivers that randomly chose the name and gave it to him.”

“I mean look at him, does he look wealthy to you?”

“Even the least servant at Lord Leonard's mansion dresses and earns better than he ever will.” Lady Nicole said as they all watched Jack Adams at the gate.

“You are definitely right grandma, even if creation should start again from the beginning, I really don't see someone like Jack even coming an inch to wealth, influence and power.”

“This guy is a sore loser and he will always be that, a tenth will and nothing more!” Evans said coldly.

Just then a blue-coloured Lamborghini Aventador pulled up in front of the mansion.

'That's not my ride.’ Jack Adams immediately thought to himself.

The door of the luxury car rare edition supercar immediately opened and a very well-dressed and handsome man stepped out.

“Grandma, look it's Justin Bradley, he is finally here,” Evans said pointing to the man by the car.

“I didn't know Thomas's family had a male maid, how come I have never seen you before?” Justin Bradley asked Jack who was in front of him.

“I'm not their maid, I'm Betty's husband…we just got divorced.”

“Wait, grandma, is this…the dweeb you allowed Betty to marry instead of me?”

“I know this dude, he is the janitor from your company, what the heck!”

“I can't believe this! Grandma, why?!”

“Why the heck would you even stand and watch Lord Thomas walk Betty to the altar and get married to this…”

“This…nonentity!”

“His shirt is even fake!”

“Justin Bradley, I'm really sorry, I tried my best but Lord Thomas really insisted that we let Betty Thomas marry that goofball over there.”

“It was his dying wish and I just couldn't say no.”

“But if it would make you feel any better, Betty just divorced the good for nothing of a man, he is just waiting for a free ride or something.”

“He will be off sooner than we think, now that he is off, we can start talking about you and Betty's marriage union.” Lady Nicole Thomas said as she walked over and grabbed Justin Bradley's hand.

“Hey dude, I really want you out of this property this minute!”

“I don't care if you are waiting for a cab or anything, just leave immediately!” Justin Bradley immediately said walking closer to Jack Adams.

“And if I refuse to leave this spot, what are you really going to do about it?” Jack asked, his fist clenched in anger.

“Are you really talking back to me?”

“Do you really understand the level of crime that you just committed by talking back at me, the heir to the Bradley family?”

“Is he seriously talking back to me right now?!”

“Are you really on a death wish or something related to that?!”

Just then two black Escalade SUVs and a Mercedes Benz fully armored plated in the middle pulled up in front of the mansion, the SUV in front smashed into the Lamborghini Aventador that Justin Bradley had packed in front of the mansion.

“Oh my God!”

“What the heck!” Justin Bradley yelled out in shock.

“I…I just bought that car last night!”

The door immediately opened and armed security officers pulled out immediately.

Mr Thwane immediately stepped out from the back walked to the middle full bulletproof Mercedes Benz and opened the door.

“Ms Emilia, I believe we are here.”

Mrs Emilia Williams immediately stepped out and stared at the whole family of Thomas before her gaze fell on Jack Adams.

“It was you!”

“You are the one who saved us last night!”

“I owe you my life!” Emilia Williams said as she raced in and hugged Jack Adams.

“What is actually going on here?”

“Isn't that the heiress of Lord Williams, why is she hugging that good-for-nothing Jack Adams?” Evans asked with so much disdain in his voice.

“Didn't she see able and handsome men like myself or Justin Bradley?”

“How does this animal keep attracting the best ladies to himself?” Evans continued muttering to himself.

Mr Thwane immediately stared at the Lamborghini Aventador in front of the mansion.

“Who packed that vehicle in that spot?”

“I'm the one Mr…Thwane.” Justin Bradley answered, his voice was shaky.

Even though the Bradleys were influential, their so-called influence and power were nowhere near that of Lord Williams and his family.

“Why did you have to pack wrongly?”

“Now you have damaged our headlamp!”

“I'm really sorry, Mr. Thwane, it…”

Before Justin Bradley could explain himself, a hot slap from Mr Thwane sent him to the floor.

“That's for being stupid enough to damage Lord Williams' favourite SUV!”

“You are just lucky Lord Williams wasn't here, you would have been on your way to the emergency room now!”

“I'm really sorry Mr Thwane, I will be careful next time!” Justin Bradley immediately apologized as he held his red sore face.

“Are you really Jack Adams?!” Emilia Williams asked as she still hugged him.

“Yes, I guess I'm.”

“What can I do for you?”

“We were sent by Mr Lee, the president of Titanium Valley Group, he said you could help us save Lady Beatrice Williams.”

“Is Lady Beatrice doing okay as we speak?” Jack Adams asked.

“No, I really think it's best if you come with us immediately!”

“Take his luggage to the boot!”

“Are you relocating to somewhere else?”

“Not really, I just…I mean my wife and I just got divorced.”

“So sorry to hear that!” Emilia Williams said as she escorted Jack Adams to the car.

Moments later they were all gone leaving a stunted and shocked Thomas family.

“Grandma, why isn't anyone saying something?”

“Jack just got a two-minute long and warm hug from Emilia Williams…like from the one and only Emilia Williams.”

“That lady single-handedly runs the three branches of the Williams Global Group.”

“She is also the most influential and celebrated business figure in the whole of the country, only second to Mr Lee, the CEO of the Titanium Valley Groups.”

“My question is, what the heck is someone that influential and powerful doing with poor Jack, and she even hugged him!” Evans said, his voice laced with curiosity, shock and bewilderment.

“Evans, I'm, I mean we all are as shocked as you right now!”

“I'm very confused, what exactly just happened right now?”

Just then a black sedan SUV pulled up in front of the Thomas family mansion.

A beautiful lady immediately opened the door and walked towards the stairs.

“Oh my god! Why is Justin Bradley on the floor?!”

“And why is his face all swollen?!”

He stared through the tinted glass at the mansion below. “Nike… he was just doing all this to make his father proud. He’s not this… monster. Not deep down. I know it.”Jack turned around in his seat and locked eyes with Justin. “As much as I hate to say this.” He bega

I’ve already activated them.”Jack took a step forward, shouting toward the walls. “You don’t have to do this, Nike. "No, we don’t need weapons for this. We’re here to talk.”Justin nodded in agreement, his voice strained. "Yeah, I mean, seriously? Guns? What are you, a police officer or something?"Lord Leo gave no answer, his expression was unreadable as his eyes remained fixed on Jack. The silence was answer enough."Fine."
