“That imbecile was beaten to shit by one dude.”

Lord Lucas responded as he passed around the room with a glass of wine in his hand.

“Wait! Wait! Daddy, let me get things straight here, are you telling me Kyle Rick, the Kyle Rick that took down four policemen, was beaten up by one single dude?.”

Rex Lucas asked, his tone heavy with the weight of curiosity.

“Yes son, that's what he said.”

“Hahaha, poor Kyle Rick, if he tries to flex his muscles around me again, I will surely put him in his place.”

Kyle Rick spoke, his voice trembling with anger.

“What saved him from my wrath was that he took the dude's picture.”

“He did! So where is the picture?.”

Rex Lucas asked as he took a sip off his glass of wine.

“The imbecile hand was shaking, so the picture he took was blurry. I sent one of my henchmen to go and unblur it.”

“Ohh, okay, he is a lucky son of a fool. You have listened to me when I asked you to send your personal henchman that man looks like a fighting machine.

Ben Clifford cracked his knuckles as he stepped onto the gravel-strewn ground. Across from him, Jack Adams stood in silence, wind tugging at the edges of his bloodied shirt, his eyes calm and unblinking. The bodies of Ben’s men littered the lot behind them like fallen dominoes, their weapons still clutched in limp hands.A breath of wind stirred the dust between them. Then, Ben lunged first, his fist shot forward like a cannon, and Jack tilted his head just enough for it to brush past. Jack countered with a low sweep, but Ben jumped, spinning to kick Jack across the chest. Jack stumbled back, catching himself in a crouch.“You’re quick.” Ben snarled. “But not quick enough.”Jack didn’t respond. Instead, he darted in again, fists flying. He landed a blow to Ben’s jaw, then another to his ribs. Ben grunted but twisted, slamming an elbow into Jack’s temple. Jack’s vision blurred. He staggered.Ben charged like a bull, slamming Jack against the hood of a rusted-out car. “You don’t eve

Outside the abandoned mansion, the sun dipped low behind the ruined skyline of Blue Heavens' southern edge, casting long shadows over the cracked pavement and rusting fences. Ben Clifford stepped forward, his boots crunching the gravel as he approached the very SUV parked discreetly earlier the same one Lord Leo, Jack, and Clark had arrived in. Two of his men lay sprawled on the ground nearby, one twitching and groaning in pain, the other unconscious with a burn mark from a taser.Ben’s eyes narrowed. His coat flared behind him as he marched toward the injured one, who clutched at his thigh where twin bullet holes bled freely.Ben crouched low, his jaw clenched. “Talk.” He demanded, his eyes sharp like broken glass. “What happened here?”The wounded man groaned, eyes barely open. “It… it was a kid…”“A what?” Ben barked.“A kid… early twenties… brown hair, cocky… said his name was… DarkBullet99,Level Seventy… something-something.”Ben recoiled.“DarkBullet99? What kind of dumbas

Just as the lid creaked open, Clark sank deeper into the cold water, submerging his head to avoid being seen. His breath caught in his lungs, and he curled his body into the tightest position he could manage inside the drum. His heart pounded like thunder in his ears as the lid opened wider.“Wait.” A voice came from above. “Boss said to start with the other one first.”Clark didn’t move. He barely blinked. The lid shut with a dull thud, leaving him in darkness once more.Moments later, he heard the sound of another drum being dragged away. Water sloshed. Then came the metallic creak of another lid.Ben Clifford’s voice rang out, smug and cruel. “Wake up, gentlemen.”Cold water splashed across Lord Leo’s face. He sputtered awake, flinging water from his eyes.“You dare!” He shouted, straining against his restraints. “Do you know who I am?!”Ben chuckled as he poured more water on Jack. “Of course I do. Lord Leonardo Mars. The Leo Enterprise prodigy. Impressive resume… not so im

Meanwhile, back outside…Clark sat in the backseat of the SUV, his headphones plugged in, fully immersed in the virtual chaos of WarZone Legacy Online. His thumbs moved like pistons over the screen, his eyes sharp and locked onto the game.“Let’s go, let’s go, flank them from the south tower!” He yelled into the mic. “Sniper on the rooftop, watch your six ugh! No, not me, man!”His character was blasted apart by a landmine. Clark groaned, slapping his forehead dramatically. “Oh, come on! I was so close to MVP. You guys owe me backup next round!”As he respawned in-game, his eyes casually drifted to the rear-view mirror.Immediately he froze. Two unfamiliar men, muscular, dressed in dark combat gear, each holding an AK-47,were walking slowly toward the SUV from the shadows of the uncompleted mansion’s gate.Clark’s breath hitched. “Uh… guys, hold up.” He muttered into his mic, pulling out the earbuds. “We might have a real-life situation here.”He ducked low inside the SUV, heart

As Lord Leo’s sleek black SUV glided onto the highway, the low hum of the engine was the only sound in the cabin. Jack sat in the passenger seat, his eyes scanning the horizon, while Clark fidgeted in the back, his legs bouncing with nervous energy.“I have a plan.” Clark suddenly declared, sitting forward and gripping the back of Jack’s seat.Lord Leo raised an eyebrow. “Oh? Let’s hear it.”Clark’s eyes sparkled. “We could dress up like pizza delivery guys, walk up to the gate, ring the bell, and when the door opens, bam!,we punch whoever answers in the face and storm inside.”Lord Leo burst into laughter, gripping the steering wheel to steady himself. “Right. We’ll just show up with pepperoni and fists. Brilliant.”Jack smirked. “Actually… if you remove the pizza part and add some stealth, it might not be the worst idea.”Lord Leo glanced at him. “You're serious?”Jack nodded, leaning forward. “Listen. We park far from the compound. Use the cover of night and sneak through the

Scott Benjamin's voice came through the speaker, a touch of disbelief laced in his tone. "Wait… what happened to Emilia, was she kidnapped?”Jack leaned closer to the speaker, his eyes sharp with frustration. "Yes, Scott. She and her cousin sister,Anna. They were taken earlier today. I got a call from my missing phone, and the bastard used it to let me hear her voice. She was in pain."Scott's breath hitched slightly. "Hold on. Your missing phone? What do you mean? How did your phone even get in their hands?”Jack ran a hand down his face, pacing in slow, heavy steps around the control table. "It must've slipped out of my pocket during that little welcoming party Nike Wayne threw. I went to his mansion with Lord Leo. Things got… complicated. He tried to humiliate me, and wanted to offer me a job as his henchman. When I refused, he and Justin Bradley tried to jump me. I dodged them, they ended up hurting themselves more than me. I must’ve lost the phone in the scuffle.""Nike Wayn
