Chapter twelve

Lord Lucas walked into his hospital with a few of his henchmen. They work straight to the emergency ward, where his men that were beaten up by Jack Adam were attended to.

“ Boss, I am really…”

Taa! Taa!.

Lord Lucas interrupted him with a resounding sound on his face, which made the nurse that was taking care of him step back in fear.

“Get out of here!.”

One of Lord Lucas' henchmen, who seems to be his personal bodyguard, yelled at the nurse.

“Who did this to you all?.”

Lord Lucas asked, his voice laced with anger.

“I am sorry for failing you Lord Lucas.”

“That is not the answer to my question, Kyle Rick. I ask you again, who did this to you and you men?.”

Lord Lucas asked again, this time his voice was more vicious.

“I don't know Boss! It was one dude. He came out from the shadows and knocked us out.”

Kyle Rick spoke, his voice trembling with fear as he held onto his swelling cheek.

“What?, are you saying, one dude single handedly did this to you and your men?.”

Lord Lucas asked.

“Yes… yes Boss.”

“And you have the guts to open that shit hole of yours and tell me.”

“Boss, you asked me…”

Taa! Taa!

Lord Lucas landed him another resounding slapping before he could finish his sentence.

“You are a disappointment, Kyle Rick, I should have left you in the gutters where I found you. “

Lord Lucas spoke, his voice heavy with disappointment.

“Boss, I took a picture of him when we were escaping.”

Kyle Rick spoke as he brought out his cell phone and handed it to Lord Lucas.

“His face is a little blurry so we can do something about it. Here, take this picture and go and unblur it so that we can see the face of the man who did this to them, hurry!.”

Lord Lucas spoke, his tone laced with command as he handed the phone to one of his henchmen, who immediately rushed out of the room.

“The rest of you, come with me, let's check on the manager of my hospital.”

Lord Lucas spoke as he and his henchmen turned and walked out of the room. But the one who seems to be Lord Lucas' personal bodyguard stayed back.

“What are you still doing here, dude?.”

Kyle Rick asked as he tried to endure the pain of his broken arm.

“You said, one man, did this to you and your henchmen?.”

He asked.

“Yeah, didn't you hear me when I just said it a minute ago, it is not like you can do anything.”

Immediately the henchman held Kyle Rick by the neck.

“Don't you dare underestimate me, I am a golden belt holder, a Tai Chi master, I will crumble anyone who needs to be crumbled.”

The henchman spoke, his tone laced with anger as he held onto the neck of Kyle Rick.

“Alright!... Alright!, Jesus Christ, dude you would have stood there and told me who you were, must come over here and try to choke me to death?.”

Kyle Rick spoke, his voice trembling with fear as he held onto his neck and his cheek.

“This is a warning, if you underestimate me again, I will make sure you will never see the blue morning sky ever again, I give you my words.”

“Alright… alright I have heard you, you get the hell out of my room now.”

“What did you just say?.”

The henchman asked as he turned and gazed angrily at Kyle Rick.

“I didn't say anything!.”

Kyle Rick exclaimed.

“That is what I thought, you better not say anything, because if you do…”

Immediately he was interrupted by another henchman.

“Here you are! the boss is asking for you.”

Immediately he turned and walked out with the henchman that was sent to call him.

“That man has a problem, Jesus Christ, he almost strangled me to death.”

Kyle muttered to himself as he placed his hand back to his neck.

“Ouch! He bruised my neck, where is my hot nurse? Nurse!!.”

Back at Lords Williams mansion.

Hahahaha!.

Everyone burst into laughter as the Williams family and Jack Adam sat in the living room with a glass of wine in their hands.

“So, Jack Adam, you are saying, you are afraid of riding a bike.”

Clark Williams asked.

“Yes, Clark, I mean, I can't even imagine myself in a two tier vehicle.”

Jack Adam responded as he took a sip off his glass of wine.

“I know at first it seems scary to do, but if you put your mind to it, you will surely do it. Believe me I am speaking as a witness.”

Emilia Williams spoke, smiles written all over her face as she gazed at Jack Adams.

“Yeah, Jack Adam, you should listen to her. When she was learning how to ride a bike, she always rode into this single bush, hahahah.”

“Haha, really.”

“Yeah, me and Grandpa Lucas here decided to name the bush “Emilia's Bush.”

“Stop it!Clark or I will spank you again like I did last time.”

Emilia Williams spoke.

“Alright, i will stop, “Emilia's Bush” hahahaha.”

Clark spoke, his voice carrying a heavy weight of sarcasm.

“Grandpa!.”

“Alright! Alright! Clark, snap out of it , enough to making fun of your sister.”

“Alright, Grandpa Lucas, I will stop.”

Clark Williams said as he took a sip off his glass of wine.

Bark! Bark!.

“Mr Thewane!.”

“Yes, Lord Williams!.”

Mr Thewane responded as he stood up from his seat and walked up to Lord Williams.

“Go and check on the dog and find out why he is barking.”

Lord Lucas spoke.

“Okay, Lord Williams.”

Mr Thewane responded as he bowed his head and went out of the living room.

“So, Jack Adam, tell us more about yourself…”
