—[You have trolled Spencer Trevor for +500]

Unfortunately Jedidiah didn't have the luxury of mulling over the meaning of the unexpected System notification, because--

"Hmph. Normally in the past, I'd teach you a lesson but things have changed now. You're not even worth my time.." a sneer hung across the corner of Spencer's lips as he inwardly admired his comeback.

Not only did he successfully Awaken as a bonafide Elite, his talent was enough to warrant the attention of the Vanderwaal Family and through them pulling some strings, he actually managed to become a student of the Prestigious Shakespeare Academy!

- Now a fully awakened Elite and a future alumni of Shakespeare Academy, Spencer felt it was beneath him to have a squabble with a trash like Jedidiah — Well at least not in public.

"You say that. But what are you still doing here? do you still need tips for wasting my time?"

"Y--You!" a thick vein throbbed across Spencer's forehead. Just what the hell was going on today?

Was this the same Toad Prince Jeddie he knew?!

—[You have trolled Spencer Trevor for +200.. +200.. +200]

"This notification again.." in truth, Jedidiah had intentionally tried riling up Spencer just now, so he could confirm his suspicions. It seems he could earn points by annoying people?

- Interesting. Although Jedidiah still had no idea what he could use these trolled points for.

"If you're done having this lovers spat, join me inside. Let's go Blaire.." ever since they arrived, the second young man who came with Spencer had only ever given Jedidiah a look.

- And it was a fleeting one.

"That's disappointing. I intended to stick around. Who knows, we might see them kiss and make up.." a playful smirk tugged across the lips of the young lady known as Blaire.

Blaire Archibald. Just like the young man besides her, she sported a shoulder length hair of a sharp silver color that was styled in a milksmaid braid, with a wreath styled headband wrapped around her forehead.

- Whether it was the way she spoke or just naturally carried herself, everything about her screamed of grace, mixed with a faint layer of danger.

"My silly cousin has embarrassed himself. I apologize on his behalf.." the silver haired young man gave her a curt gentleman bow.

Zach Vanderwaal. In the entire city of Angeles, the Vanderwaal family behind him were regarded as local dragons. Judging by the luxurious designer suit and watch he was sporting, the extravagant prestige of the Vanderwaal family were on full display.

"But you're right. I should be focused on the upcoming Brunch tomorrow. I heard my fiancee will be finally making his debut."

"I heard.." at the mention of the word "Fiancee", Zach's eyes unconsciously wandered to the engagement ring on Blaire's finger, causing an ugly expression to appear on his face.

- Albeit he was quick to cover it up with a cheerful grin.

"Then I'll be sure we won't leave until you've picked out the prettiest dress this store has to offer!"

Letting out a small giggle, the sound of Blaire's and Zach's voices gradually grew faint as they made their way into the Bendels Fashion Store. Giving Jedidiah one last look, Spencer snorted before hurrying after the duo.

- Strangely enough, his "special" physique did nothing to hinder the speed of his movement.

"The young master should be careful.." only after the trio had vanished from sight did Chuck finally open his mouth to speak.

"If I'm not mistaken. The second young master amongst the trio from earlier is Zachary Vanderwaal.." he added solemnly.

"What about him?"

"Over the last three years, the Vanderwaals has been a constant thorn at the Madam's side. They are the top contender for head of the Miller Clan.."

"Miller Clan?" although Jedidiah knew quite a bit regarding "Elites", his knowledge regarding the inner circle of the upper echelon was quite limited.

"The Miller Clan is the undisputed number one powerhouse in the entire North American Continent. And five families currently makes up the Miller Clan. Ranking at the top is the Kreese Family and as the Family's Matriarch, the Madam is naturally regarded as the Head of the Miller Clan.." Chuck was quite patient in his explanation.

"My grandmother is that amazing?!" Jedidiah couldn't help but fall into deep thoughts as things only became even more puzzling for him.

If Lady CeCe was this amazing, just how powerful was this Hidden Enemy for the them to warrant such apprehension from her?

"Unfortunately, the Kreese Family lacks an Heir to lead the next generation, causing the Madam's position in the Clan to be quite.. special."

"Due to Madam becoming older with everyday that passes while she lacks a suitable heir, the other families in the clan are secretly scheming to steal the position of the Kreese Family, and the Vanderwaal family just happens to be the top contender ." Chuck had just concluded his explanation when he heard a helpless sigh escape Jedidiah's lips.

"It's barely been a day since I arrived and yet I've been placed in the middle of a political tug of war for power and authority. " Jedidiah wasn't stupid. After listening to Chuck's explanation, he could already more or less guess the reason why Lady CeCe brought him to Angeles City.

- He was her last hope. The last Hope for continuing the legacy of the Kreese Family.

...

"Welcome to Ben and Dels fashion .." Jedidiah and Chuck had just stepped into the luxury fashion store when one of it's female affiliate agents arrived in front of them while sporting one of her best smiles.

Receiving the catalogue from the female agent, Chuck skimmed through its content with his eyes before shaking his head.

"This won't cut it.." he shot the female agent a look.

"We are here to see Phoenix Baron.."

"T--The Phoenix Baron?" the lips of the female Agent trembled.

The Phoenix Baron was Ben and Dels Fashion's top designer. Rumors has it that she was also a co-founder of Ben and Dels fashion. However the designs of the Phoenix Baron were always exclusive.. just her cheapest piece could only be found at the upper floors of the fashion store and could sell for nearly a quarter million!

But purchasing a piece designed by the Phoenix Baron was one thing, consulting her for a customized piece was another! In the entirety of Angeles City, only a handful of individuals could afford this luxury because the Phoenix Baron's consultation f*e was a tad bit eccentric in nature

— It wasn't something that could be exchanged with cash.

"Have you made an appointment?" although the female Agent tried her best to conceal it, her trembling voice sold out the intense excitement she was feeling.

If these clients were Indeed legit, there was a high chance of her making over twenty grands as Agent renumeration f*e.

"Is this going to be enough?" Chuck fished out a gold colored membership card, causing the brows of the female Agent to jump up in pleasant surprise.

- A membership card of the highest tier?!

The female Agent couldn't help but give both Jedidiah and Chuck a second but deeper look. Strange. These two customers before her were dressed like middle-class paupers and yet they actually owned a membership card of the highest tier?

"Please. Follow me"

—[You have trolled Darwin Hughs for +100.. +100.. +100] "Y--You know who I am?" Darwin's head momentarily went blank. This pauper actually knew who he was? He actually didn't mishear him the first time but knew about his identity as the son of Captain Hughs. So why-- "Yep. How many times am I going to answer that question?" Jedidiah clicked his tongue. "Maybe you've got too much dirt in your ear that is obstructing your hearing?" The realization of the situation slowly dawned on Darwin. I was inclined to accept your heartfelt apology after you got on your knees but now? you have not just only been offended me, you have spat on the honor of my father and the entire 30th Precinct!" Realizing the hesitation around him, fear finally began to creep in Darwin's heart. With a slight tremble in his voice, he let out another scowl. "You useless bastards! If anything happens to me you all will be spending the rest of the year at the 30th Precinct. My father is Captain Hughs for pete sake!" Following this sharp exclaimation, the receptionist who were previously attempting to watch from the sidelines, suddenly felt a chill run up their spine. This snobbish brat was actually the son of that Captain Hughs?! Who in the entire city didn't know about the 30th Precinct?! Rumors has it that amongst it's roster of Martial Police officers were sadistic Elites who were deeply instilled with the discipline of upholding the law always. Like sharks, they always seemed to easily locate signs of criminal activities before its roots could spread within their jurisdiction. Of all the 70 Precincts spread across the City, the areas under the jurisdiction of the 30th Precinct were la

The entire lobby descended into stunned silence. Whether it were the receptionist, the bystanders and even the victim himself, they were all stunned at the slap. However, the palpable silence was soon shattered by this simple sentence. "You should thank your lucky stars that I held back. You won't be so lucky the next time you demean my parents." Jedidiah could barely contain his temper whenever his deceased parents were involved. Even back at at Blue Prep School when he didn't have the system it was the same. The only few times he ever tried standing up to Spencer's antics were usually always when his family were the topic of the discussion. This snobbish stranger would've been spared the public humiliation even if he continued talking smack about Jedidiah. But extending that disrespect to his deceased parents? that was obviously crossing a line! —[You have trolled Darwin Hughs for +1050.. +1050. +1050] x5 Darwin had finally come back to his senses and along with it came the

"Excuse me?" Jedidiah's gaze snapped towards the direction of the earlier statement. "Hmph. There is no point faking it. Even my stewards have far better taste in fashion than you. Did you think that just any random miser can afford to dine in the prestigious Velvet Rose Garden?" The speaker was a young man in his early twenties. Clad in a two piece branded suit with an expensive pair of shoes wrapped around his feet, the culprit exuded a snobbish air of superiority that was further accentuated by the luxury watch donned around his wrist. Noticing the confused manner the hypocritical miser was looking at him, Darwin snorted in contempt. "You would only end up sullying the establishment with your presence." Releasing a snort, Jedidiah impatiently snapped. "Although I have no idea why that is any of your concern but except you are the owner of Velvet Rose Garden, I doubt you'd be able to bare anybody from dining there." "Y--You!" tongue-tied, Darwin Hughs found himself unable to m

Navigating the spacious manor building in Lady CeCe's Villa, Jedidiah was left with disappointment when he discovered that apart from himself and the handful of maids he encountered along the way, the entire Villa was devoid of any other living soul! By the time Jedidiah finished his involuntary tour, he was left reeling for breath. Even after he asked all the maids, they all ended up giving him the same monotonous reply — The Madame was out, and Mr. Chuck went along with her. "I wonder where they are right now?" Jedidiah bemused to himself as he arrived at the gazebo behind the Villa's garden. Making himself comfortable on the lounge chair under the gazebo, Jedidiah thought back to the abrupt call he got from Natalie — The other party actually wanted to have drinks with him. However due to being preoccupied with his plan to protect Ayanna and her father from the Skyfall gang, Jedidiah ended up declining her offer. He was now beginning to wonder whether he should accept. Anyways

"I really don't know. But I suppose that sort of scenerio isn't completely unlikely." "Why are you asking me all this?" Dalia directed a puzzled look at Jedidiah's direction. The last question was oddly specific — Almost personal. "I'm just curious." Jedidiah forced a smile. At that moment, Ayanna just happened to have finished sorting through the mess in the cafe. Arriving before the table, she exhaled in an exhausted manner. "I apologize for the embarrassing scene earlier on." "There's no need. The delicious pancakes more than made up for it. Your dad is a really amazing chef." at this point, Jedidiah was a bit tempted to have Ayanna's father work for him. Being the head of Lady CeCe's kitchen would definitely pay better than what he was getting from this cafe anyways. "Actually I am the one who made the pancakes." as she made this confession, Ayanna's cheeks flushed red. She was like a housewife whose husband just praised her talents in the kitchen. "Just like I suspected
