The doors swung open, and she stood in the doorway.

Aries was up and on his feet at the sight of her. She raised her finger up, trying to catch her breath.

He stood watching her. Her hair was a mess, she was sweating profusely and lipstick smeared by the corner of her lip.

Yet, he had never seen another more beautiful in his lifetime. "Lani," his voice cracked as he said her name filled with emotion.

He was overwhelmed as she walked to him slowly, as if counting her steps, "say nothing."

"I don't care."

"I don't want to know"

"I missed you. I thought I lost you."

"All I know Aries. Is that I trust you and I love you? That's all that matters? "

She cupped his chin with both hands.

He leaned his head against hers.

Wrapping his arms around her perfect small frame.

Home, she felt like home.

He missed this.

He missed home.
