Epilogue

I woke up on my own, the doctor was not there yet. The first thing I noticed was white hair. She chuckled. The transformation does not happen just like that, I did not age, but my hair became white, like chalk, reflecting my inner state. Everything seemed to freeze inside. The doctor, when he saw me, was afraid, not of my appearance, but that I could quickly grow old and die. But after examining I calmed down. Following the shock awaited the rest of the relatives. Neriya took my change more calmly, explaining everything to the others:

- Rejoice that only the hair has changed, she is holding up well. She could have died in her sleep. Our changes are reflections of our inner state. And white hair and faded eyes are a reflection of grief.

And I didn’t even notice that something happened to my eyes, now I didn’t care. The servants and palace guards shied away from me a little at the funeral ceremony and then for several more days. And I had a strong apathy and did not want to do anything.
