Goblin attack
last update2025-09-06 10:55:35

They were alarmed that there will be a goblin attack in 3 days, before the goblin arrival and they were training endlessly. Their swordsmanship skill leveled up and Rein was more focused on planning inside his tent. He thought that just in case, he would have to step in.

So this time, his Modern Profession that he used was Martial Artists.

"Solomon, train the Villagers with Martial Arts!"

[Affirmative]

[Training them with Martial Arts Techniques]

As for the athlete training, they were having Javelin throw, throwing of daggers, and Archery. Fencing, Kendo, Arnis, Wu Shu, Boxing, discuss throw shield etc.......

They were also exercising with these routine.

100 push ups

100 sidesteps

100 sit ups

10 kilometer run

As for the Martial Arts, they were using ........Weapons and Close combat, as well as Defensive and Striking Martial Arts. As for the grapple and takedowns, they only will use it in case of emergency.

Like Ninja, Samurai, Monk, and Spartan training.

Arnis, Kendo, Jiu jitsu, Kali, Mui tai, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Tai chi, Wing Chun, and krab maga.

Though the presence of a Hobgoblin Lord was possible. It played a role in their invasion of the human tribes. It has a skill Tactician and also Born Leader skill.

They would rally their tribes and then conquer their enemies one by one. To their knowledge, the human tribes were divided and they were easier to conquer as they were weaker when separated from the other tribes. They could be an open prey for the goblins.

And so, Rein thought that he would unite the tribes. And made them into his vassals.

Then the day has arrived where they would face the goblins. Rein could not sleep at all.

Day 3/3 they were all prepared to face them. They brandished and sharpened their swords and luckily there were sharpening stones available. They had to share it with others and the swords were sharpened. They immediately gave it to the captains and the rest were just clubs wielded as swords. They just imagine that it was a sword at the moment.

Then at the rising of the sun, they all were on standby. They looked at the peak of the hills and they saw the goblins moving from afar. The wind was cold and they were in chilly clothing. They all went up early to prepare for the warfare.

The goblins then were shrieking and yelping in excitement. They saw that the villagers were too few for them.

The goblins were in high morale and they were looking down on humans as they outnumbered them.

They licked their weapons and glared at them with great malice...... they were imagining all sorts of torture to them and shrieked and yelped as they were excited.

On the contrary, the villagers were silent and were just nonchalant. They thought they were outnumbered.....but still, they were calm.....

They were just whispering to each other and wanted to surprise the goblins.

Also, they were hiding their true strength and baiting the goblins that they were weak puny villagers.

Some of them even dramatized that they were helpless......

Help! Oh no! We are outnumbered! We need to surrender!

We are doomed!

We can't beat them all!

Then the goblins yelped and were in glee.

They thought that they would beat them in no time. Then, the villagers all smirked shyly. The enemies fell for it...they were low key this time around.

Rein then immediately watched what the outcome would be. He immediately grabbed his sword and then went to find the Hobgoblin Lord. It was his target nonetheless.

It was then, the Hobgoblin yelled to attack. Soon after, the goblins then dashed towards them. The villagers watched them all jeered excitedly. They were on hold and standby. Their Captain then was looking at the situation and was ready.

"Hold it....." He said.

The enemies then attacked and they nonchalantly held strong. They all attacked and then in the nick of time where the enemies were about to clash, the captain then shouted.

"Now!" He kicked the first goblin to arrive at their formation and then they attacked and retaliated.

Bang! Boom!

The goblins were thrown upwards. The ones that were kicked were thrown to their comrades and they obliterated the line of their flight path. All that arrived to their formation was either thrown or cut.

They immediately went chaotic and the villagers attacked without restraint. They all decimated them like harvesting and reaping wheat.

They made use of their strengths and speed...the village elder was too op and others too.....they soloed the Hobgoblins and then obliterated them with only their fists.

They punched them and they were thrown apart. They smashed the elders with their heavy clubs but it just smacked them like a light weight paper. They gripped the weapons and crumpled them into bits. Making the Hobgoblins' clubs into useless weapons.

They smashed goblins to bits, their speed was unmatched and strength uncontrollable.

Even outnumbered, they managed to obliterate them. They faced the hills and the wind was blowing hard.

The Hobgoblin Lord was looking at them. Then he faced the other villagers and he used an axe. He then faced Kenny and then he slashed his sword at him. But it was repelled and Kenny was thrown.

The others were alarmed and then Rein stood up. "Wait, he's mine,"

Rein will duel him and he was serious this time.

[Skills activated]

[Cloning] x3

He immediately used [Scale armor] and [Haste], [Strengthen].

He immediately dashed with the 3 others and slashed with their sword. The Hobgoblin Lord then slashed one and their weapons clashed with some sparks emitted. The others attacked in another direction and then they all were repelled.

Rein immediately used [Paralyzing Breath], and [Iron Web], he then used [Fire Elemental Attack] and the enemy burned.

Though the enemy was more resilient.

Other clones then attacked with their swords and their Swordsmanship skill was put to use.

[Fast Learner skill activated]

They battled and his skills were leveling up by his skill fast learner......more skills were levelled up.

The other clones then retreated and the original held the Hobgoblin Lord with his sticky web and others attacked with fire elemental breath.

The enemy then was attacked on all sides with his fire elemental breath and it screamed with all he got. The others were all watching and Rein immediately used copycat skill.

[Copycat Skill activated]

[Skill: Two Handed Mastery copied]

All two handed weapons could be wielded with greater mastery. 200% Faster and stronger attacks.

[Skill: Tactician copied]

Warfare Tactics Skills related and all Troop skills would have 30% more effectivity. Commander skills have 30% more prowess and commands will be followed by all.

Then the Hobgoblin Lord became ashes. Making the villagers kill all the enemies. They all were ecstatic and felt the moment of victory. Though it was just for a moment, they all yelled and others followed suit. Lifting their weapons in the air and they rejoiced.

Then, after that, the border patrol attacked their camp nearby and they said that all of the goblins nearby were obliterated. Making their land goblin free at the moment. Though it would be for now, they relished the victory and temporary peace as they knew it was only short lived.

  • The 3 Generals

Inside the large campaign tent, the air was heavy with expectation.A war table stood at the center, covered in maps, drawn lines, and carved figurines representing armies and territories. Oil lanterns flickered on every corner of the tent, casting shadows on the lined faces of hardened warriors. Leather and fur armor rustled as the summoned generals entered and took their places around the table. The tension was tangible, like the stillness before a storm.Rein stood in the middle, arms crossed and gaze sharp as steel.Beside him were Arkhan and Arthurn, his most trusted vanguards, silent, stoic, and radiating unshakable loyalty. On the other end of the tent, Reginald leaned against one of the support beams with arms folded. He was half hidden in the dim light, keen eyes watching everything, as if dissecting every word before it was even spoken. Then the flap of the tent opened.Three figures walked in, each bearing the aura of their people. They were the chosen representatives from

No more suspicion. No more fear.Today, they will celebrate. It was a once in a lifetime moment for the Dark Mages. The warriors spread out first, forming hunting parties. • Dark Mages

Rein returned to his normal form. The radiant glow of evolution dimmed as his body settled once again into his mimic form. His shell pulsed gently with mana, but his expression, if a mimic could truly have one, was lighter now. The tension that had gripped him during the war had lifted. For the first time in days, he chuckled."Ahhh… finally. Enough seriousness. Back to my cheerful self again," Rein said as his voice echoed playfully."Thank you everyone! Now back to business. Let's go home. But first, let's check the Dark mages first." "Arkhan let's go!" He yelled and then raised his arms. "Yes, master!" He knelt then stood up. "They were located at the cave nearby. I will lead you there myself. Arkhan raised an eyebrow, arms crossed, but allowed himself a small grin. The battlefield was cleared, the enemies vanquished.Arkhan paused for a moment. "It's northwest of the battlefield. They're getting weaker..but persistent. Faint enough to be from those barely clinging to life."Wit

  • Overlord Summoner

The Soul Realm trembled. Black fog from the absorption ritual still lingered like smoke above charred soil. The battlefield had fallen into silence, unnatural and deep, after the Lich's defeat and taming. No more howls, no more screams. Only the chilling hum of death magic was still crackling in the distance.Rein stood in the middle of the scorched land, sweat dripping from his brow, his robes stained with sweat and cursed soot. Around him, his warriors began to regroup. Mimics carried the wounded, slimes dissolved the last remains of the undead army, and his elite clones stood at attention, watching their master carefully. Before Rein, the newly resurrected man, once the Undead Lich, knelt calmly. No longer a rotting corpse nor a spectral being of hate, but a man reborn. His hair was silver and wild, his eyes violet and filled with bitter wisdom. He wore a conjured mage coat of dark silk, now reinforced with runes gifted through the taming ritual. Rein's knees suddenly gave way.Hi

  • Rebirth

The battlefield was silent for a heartbeat. Then came the rupture. A black vortex tore through the space, ripping it where the Undead Lich once floated. Rein stood at its center, his right hand outstretched, glowing with an ominous, devouring darkness. His newest skill [Catastrophic Gluttonous Devourer] was in full effect. The Lich screamed, its distorted voice howling across the ruined land. Necrotic tendrils lashed out in desperation, tearing apart what remained of the nearby forest. The ground cracked, the sky trembled, and even the lingering souls of the undead trembled at the sheer force of the absorption."Struggle all you want," Rein muttered, eyes burning with resolve. "You're doomed."The vortex expanded, consuming the darkness, the dark mists, and the shattered corpses scattered from the battle. The Lich resisted with every ounce of its might. Chaos erupted, swirling violently as the two wills clashed. For a brief moment, the Lich's soul pushed back, refusing to be dominated

Rein's voice boomed across the battlefield, filled with the raw intensity of command."Affirmative!" his warriors replied in unison, their voices ringing out with determination. They were ready. Their goal was clear, to shatter the Lich's barrier before the dreaded Disintegration spell could be unleashed again. They had time now, but none of them knew how long that window would last. The Disintegration spell required a long cooldown, but they couldn't afford to wait too long. Now was their chance.
