From what the name implies, natal weapons are born with the individual and so, unlike other weapons that were created in a workshop, natal weapons have the ability to grow with their owners. This ability should not be taken very simply. It was more than just the weapon becoming stronger. Instead, as the weapon grows stronger, so too do the weapons wielded.
