Chapter 4

Everyone in the cafe was shocked when Richard yelled, by the looks of things he was no ordinary rich man. The waiter looked at Richard, he was scared witless. “Did he just call this boy young master?” The waiter looked at Kyle, he saw that Kyle was in a casual outfit. He didn’t even think that someone like Richard wearing an Alexander Amosu Vanquish Bespoken Suit would call someone like Kyle young master.

Richard walked up to the guards that were holding Kyle; “Let him go!” Richard removed their hands from Kyle’s shirt, it was clear that he was not happy.

“What happened young master?” Richard wanted Kyle to tell him what made them call security on him.

“Well, the waiter came with the bill and told me to pay up, I simply told him that you will be back soon but then he didn’t even hear me out. He called me a thief that I came to eat and dash.” Kyle was looking at the waiter who was trembling at this moment, Richard was angry to hear that all the fuss was all about a bill.

“How much is the bill?” Richard was looking at the waiter, the anger in his eyes was clear. The waiter knew that he made a horrible mistake, he didn’t know who he was bad mouthing and he counted his eggs way before they hatched.

“It’s $2500.” Kyle said with a low tone, he knew that the bill was much but he knew that there was something about Richard that was not ordinary. From everything he had seen he knew that Richard was not any ordinary man.

‘I know a $2500 bill is much for someone but then when that someone pays off a $2000 fee you have to know that there is something else going on.’ Kyle was looking at Richard, he noticed that Richard was already fuming again.

“Just a petty bill of $2500? You laid your filthy hands on the young master because of a petty bill of $2500! How dare you!” Richard turned to the waiter; Kyle too was scared. He didn’t understand who he was dealing with here. But Kyle knew that there was something about Richard that was different from the other rich men. For some reason it looked like he was in a different class from all of them.

Everyone in the Cafe was now looking at Kyle, they wondered who he was or which family he belonged to. They knew that he must be a really wealthy man to make someone like Richard call him young master.

“Tell me, why in the world would you want to hurt him? Are you all insane?” Richard looked at the waiter, the waiter stepped back a bit. “Do you know who jus touched? The only reason I came here was because the young master’s family have been customers of this coffee shop for the past decade! I will see to it that this shop is closed! I wonder if this is how the Manager takes care of the place? All because of a petty bill!” Richard was already so angry; Kyle didn’t know what he was going to do to calm him down but he knew that there was a chance that he would learn something or two.

“Please forgive me, I didn’t know that he was with you. I thought he was trying to run away without paying.” The waiter was shaking, his only prayer was that the manager didn’t come out of his office. He knew that his job would be on the thread line if he came out.

“You thought that he was going to eat and run away? What sort of useless excuse is that?!” Richard was so enraged at this point.

“This is scary, I wonder who this boy is, for this kind of man to defend him to this point. I really don’t know what family he is from?”

“I know he isn’t from the Aaron family, because the Aaron family has only one son. Then who is this person and why is this man making a fuss about him.”

The customers in the caffe were all looking shocked, the scene before them was one that you won’t even imagine in a thousand years. A man dressed in wealth defending someone like Kyle, it was clear that he was not an ordinary man.

The noise had attracted the manager, a man that hardly came out of the office, not even for anyone. He was always locked inside making sure that he took care of the internal affairs of the caffe, he only came out to address serious issues. But then the noise had grown a bit much.

“What’s all this about?” The Manager walked towards the scene; he walked up to Richard who was already filled with anger. Richard turned to look at him, the manager immediately recognized Richard. He knew what most people in the caffe didn’t, he knew that Richard was not in the same class of wealth as the other people in the city.

“Mr. Williams! This is a surprise; you didn’t tell me that you were coming. I would prepare a nice table for you.” The manager was trembling when he saw Richard, he knew that Richard could call for the closure of his caffe.

This caused everyone in the café to get shocked the more they knew that Richard was truly someone to reckon with. He didn’t look like all the other men but he was rich enough to cause the manager to be afraid that he was there. The people there then knew that Kyle was somewhat someone to be scared of.

“I came here unannounced because I went to pick up the young master, I left for a second and your staff is disgracing him! I wonder if that is what you teach your staff these days, I won’t tolerate this nonsense!” Richard was calming down from his former fit of rage.

“I am deeply sorry about this, very sorry. I didn’t know what came over him, I will see to it that he is removed from duty now.” The manager was bowing his head, his action made everyone in the café more scared than they were already.

The waiter’s heart almost dropped when he heard what the manager said, he was trembling. In reality the waiter was an ordinary middle-class man, but his time serving wealthy men made him almost forget that apart from that job there was no other alternative for him.

He knew that he was doomed for sure, he knelt down and began pleading with the manager to forgive him. “Please sir, I didn’t know that he was an important customer. I would have not done anything this stupid. I promise this won’t happen again.”

“That is already too late Matt, please leave this place immediately.” The manager looked at Matt, everyone in the café was gripped with fear.

“I think that’s a bit much, I don’t think he really deserves that much punishment.” Everyone turned to see that it was Kyle that spoke up.
