“hehehee…you are all a bunch of weaklings” A hoarse voice sounded in a bare planet.

A huge creature was seen pummeling down on a huge robot and sparks began to fly from the robot.

The Captain saw that this situation was not going well

Behemoth jumped far away from the Deagi as large missiles fired at that location.

The Deagi was seen with a hole in his chest but it wasn’t anywhere near his heart. A wicked smile appeared on his lips as blowed flowed down.

The hole slowly began to close but how could Steph stand and watch this happen.

He fired his energy gun targeting at that same hole and it got slightly bigger and wider.

Steph fired up his energy sword ready to go in for another strike.

“I should aim for the right side of his chest as his heart is located there. I could at least try killing him” His face became solemn and the sword shown brighter.

Behemoth ran creating heavy momentum on the ground and headed towards the Deagi who was being held down by the Earth users.

With a shout, the Captain swung his right sword at the Deagi’s head

“Petty tricks” The Deagi smirked and blocked the strike by holding the sword in his hand while pulling the robot closer to him as his feet were stuck in a certain position due to the Ability Users.

Behemoth’s weight was nothing to the Deagi as he was dragged forward but the man within the cockpit held a solemn but calm expression as if he had planned for this.

When the Mechna was closer the Deagi brought forth his other hand and slammed it into the cockpit as he grabbed the man from inside.

“You have been a disturbance, petty human” He said as he tightened his hold on the man

The Captain was being squeezed and veins popped from his head as blood went slowly down his mouth but the look on his face never wavered as he got tightened.

“F…fuck you” He said and

Plop!!!!

Blood and pieces of flesh splashed everywhere as the captain exploded.

The Captain was killed in the most horrifying way and the soldiers lost their momentum as they had no other hope.

The Deagi scanned across the field looking at the faces of the humans and burst into laughter.

“Humans are so stu…..”

BOOOOMM!!!!!

Behemoth self destructed right in front of the Deagi and dark blood splashed onto the bodies of the soldiers as the body parts of the Deagi landed everywhere.

The shock on his face at his own death was plastered on his face.

Who was the stupid person now?

The soldiers were stunned for a moment until someone shouted.

“The Monster is dead!!”

Louds shout were heard from different corners of the shelter but the celebration was quickly replaced by solemnity.

Many brave lives were lost today.

Somewhere on earth in a small apartment.

A woman was seen talking with her children

“Mom, when will Daddy be back” The little girl said as she sat on her mother’s lap.

“Very soon dear, very soon” The gentle face smiled as she caressed her daughter’s hair.

All of a sudden she gripped the chain on neck.

“Why does my heart feel empty all of a sudden” She said as a tear slipped from her eyes unknowingly.

A picture of a man in a military uniform was placed in the chain.

On his name tag was written “Steph Troyer”

Sun rose, a dark haired boy sat on his bed in a lotus position with a beast gem right in front of him.

The gem glowed brilliantly as a white light covered it and it disappeared.

“Today is the last day and the tournament begins soon. I will go to the military and become the strongest man alive and fulfill my parents’ dream.” The boy thought as he opened his crystal blue eyes.

He had gotten a lot of rewards from his last fight and he hadn’t checked it yet.

Roshan exhaled happily as he read his status. He felt like a rich man with those many free stats.

He had already concluded how he would distribute it through his attributes.

Now his attributes were a little bit even.

He could Level up again after he completed the daily quest.

He got up from the bed, went to the kitchen and has his breakfast.

It was rather surprising that Master Fyi had not waken up.

He went to his Master’s room and knocked on the door.

“Master….” He whispered

“Master, are you in there” He said a little louder

“Master! Master!! Master!!!”

“Stop shouting and come inside already” a croaked voice was heard followed by a coughing fit

Roshan was surprised

“What’s wrong with the old man” he thought as he pushed open the door and peeked in to see the old man laying on the bed with another man beside him.

He walked in as he wondered what was wrong.

“Why does he look older than before”

The youth beside the old man looked at Roshan and back at Fyi

“I am guessing this is your son” He said as he kept examining the weak man

“Son???” Roshan had a weird expression on his face as he looked at the old man who smiled faintly and gently nodded his head.

He walked closer to the bed of the man.

“What happened to him” Roshan asked the young doctor with a frown on his face.

“Unfortunately, your father has been poisoned” The doctor said as he shook his head.

Alarm bells started ringing in Roshan’s head as he looked deeply at his master

“Is there something we can do about it” Roshan said as he calmed down

“There is an antidote for it, but it is very expensive” The doctor said as he looked pitifully at the young child.

The young doctor didn’t think they would be able to afford it looking at how they lived.

“How much is it?” The boy said expressionlessly

“Three thousand credits” The doctor replied

Roshan eyebrows scrunched up

He didn’t even have up to a thousand credits now he needed three thousand. How did the old man get poisoned in the first place.

Hearing no reply, the doctor sighed.

He knew they wouldn’t be able to afford it.

“This poison acts fast, if nothing is done within two days, your father would die” The doctor said as he looked deeply at the young child.

“Okay doctor, thank you for your help. I’ll see what I can do about the money” Roshan calmly said as he walked the man out of the house.

The doctor smiled and said he would be coming the next day to check on Fyi’s health.

Roshan stood by the door as he watched the doctor disappear from his view.

He had another method but he was trying to hide it from the knowledge of others.

Now he had no choice.

He walked up to the old man who was fast asleep already. His face was sunken as his skin was all dried up, he looked like he had aged twenty years more.

“Let’s try this then” Roshan said as he sat beside the old man and laid his hands on the old man hands

He closed his eyes as he looked for the source of the poison in the man’s body.

Roshan had the poison ability so he searched for the poison.

A bluish green object formed a ball at the energy ccore of the old man.

Roshan sensed it and directed the large object straight into his body.

He felt a numbing pain immediately the poison came in contact with his own body.

A screen appeared directly in front of him as he continued the process.

After a while, the skin of the old man became new and fresh. His vibrant colour returned back to him.

His face swelled up and the bags in his eyes were removed but he was still sound asleep.

Roshan stumbled on the floor as he tried to catch his breath. His body glowed green with veins bulging from his head.

A few seconds later, he had absorbed the poison and his mind was clearer.

He went straight for a glass of water and walked out the house.

He needed to Level up today in preparation for tomorrow.
