"Am I dead?" Edna asked as soon as her eyes flipped open. She looked around and after a while began to recognize the room she was in. She was at home and in her room with Edgar and Lucas peering at her.

"Is heaven a replica of what our environment looks down on earth? Or, are we in hell? And, why is Lucas with us? Was he in the car with us? Why—"

"We are not dead," Edgar had to chip in.

"I saw the truck. We should definitely be dead by now." She sat straight up on the bed and began to inspect Edgar's body. She did the same to herself. "And how on earth did we not sustain any injury." Then, she gasped. "Was I in a coma? What year is this? Were you in a coma?"

Edgar shook his head. "I'm also as confused as you are as to how we survived but today is still the same day the accident almost occured."

"Almost? It did not?" Edna was shocked. She was happy, but shocked.

"It is a miracle. If you ask me how? I honestly don't think I can give a reply."
