"Jordan....." Zoey froze as she stuttered, turning around to look at the figure that just called her name.

Turning around, she came face to face with Jordan, who was standing not too far away from her, a smile on his face as he stared at her.

"Zoey...."

"Jordan, I'm no longer your wife, I'm about to get married, so you should leave!" Zoey's voice suddenly turned cold, cutting Jordan off.

"But...."

"There's no but, after what you did five years ago, there's no way I'll accept someone like you." Zoey continued coldly, forcing back the tears threatening to drop from her eyes.

"You should know better than anyone back then that I was innocent, I wouldn't do such a thing." Jordan sighed, looking at Zoey, whose eyes were red.

"I...." Zoey stuttered, wanting to say something, but the tears in her eyes threatened to overflood her face.

She knew well that Jordan was innocent and was just a victim of a devious plot from her family and in-laws, but there was nothing she could do about it.

"Jordan?" A shocked voice came, staring at Jordan in shock.

"Ella, how have you been doing?" Jordan looked forward and a smile appeared on his face as he said.

"I...." Ella stuttered looking at Jordan as though she had seen a ghost.

"Why are you staring at me that way? Perhaps you've forgotten what you did five years ago," Jordan smirked, walking closer to Ella.

"No...no don't come closer..." Ella stuttered, moving back in fear, her eyes filled with horror.

"I should stay back after what you did to me five years ago?" Jordan squinted his eyes, looking at Ella.

"I didn't do anything to you; you were the one who tried to take advantage of me," Ella argued weakly, moving back slowly, her face pale and her legs trembling, sweat covering her forehead.

"Is that so?" Jordan frowned, looking at Ella.

"Tell me exactly what happened and why you did that?" He questioned, the smile on his face disappeared, replaced by a frown.

"You were the one who tried to take advantage of me and you..."

"If you spit one more lie, then you wouldn't know how you'll meet Hades..." Jordan cut her off, a murderous aura seeped out of his body.

"I..." Ella stammered.

"Speak!" Jordan roared.

"It was your father and brother who came to meet me that I should help them frame you and that they would give me a sum..." Ella said hurriedly.

"Zoey, you see, I told you that I was guilty." Jordan sighed, turning to look at Zoey who was staring at the whole scene.

The murderous aura seeping from his body had completely disappeared.

"Is that true?" Zoey finally asked after a long while staring at Ella.

She had always known that Jordan was not going to do such, but there were still some doubts in her heart.

"What else do you think?" Ella sneered, she had recovered from the shock.

"Do you think you were the only one meant to have something good in your life?" She continued looking at Zoey.

"To be frank, I was the one who brought up the idea of marrying you off Winston's family." Ella snorted coldly.

Zoey froze upon hearing this. She couldn't believe her ears. She couldn't believe that Ella hated her this much. They were both families, so what had she done to receive this much of a hare from the other party?

"Zoey, where are you? Everyone is waiting. What's taking you so long?" An old, but enthusiastic voice came.

Soon, an old figure walked up to the scene, looking at Zoey, who was staring at Ella with red eyes.

"What's taking you so long? Don't keep the young master waiting," The woman continues,d, wanting to pull Zoey.

"And you, Ella, you shouldn't say hurtful words to your sister; she's getting married today; she needs to be happy." The old woman turned to Ella, reprimanding her.

"Come on, Zoey, let's go; you don't need to be so emotional." She continued wanting to pull Zoey away.

"Grandmother, call off the marriage, I'm not going to get married again." Zoey suddenly said, refusing to be pulled along.

"Huh?" The old woman froze, then turned to look at Zoey in shock.

The next moment, she exploded in rage,

"What the hell are you even thinking?!"

"How can this say I should cancel the marriage? Everyone is already waiting for your arrival. The Young Master of the Winston family, too, is waiting?"

"What do you want me to say? Do you think this is just a simple marriage? Our family would be finished, are you even thinking about others? You unfilial Granddaughter!" Grandmother bellowed.

"I..." Zoey was taken aback and stuttered, not knowing what to say.

"But...."

"No buts, you're going to get married to the Young master of the Winston Family whether you like it or not!" Grandmother raged.

"What do you want me to say if I suddenly cancel the marriage!" She continued.

"Don't worry grandmother, I'll go explain to the guests," At this moment, Jordan spoke, his voice low but sounding like Thunder in the old woman's ears.

"Jordan?" Grandmother froze, turning around to see Jordan.

Just now, she had not noticed him; she had been too enthusiastic about the wedding as the Young Master of the Winston Family had promised them a Cooperation.

If they were able to Co-operate with such a Powerful family, at least, they would be able to move up the ranks and become a second-tier family.

But who would have thought that Zoey would delay everything? To make sure that everything was right, she came to call Zoey herself, so she was in a hurry and didn't happen to see Jordan, who was by her side.

"What the heck are you doing here?" Grandmother immediately flew into another fit of rage glaring at Jordan.

"Get the hell out of here; no one wants to see you; besides, Zoey has divorced you. So get lost!" She roared.

"Zoey, is that true?" Jordan couldn't help but glance at Zoey.

"I...." Zoey stuttered, feeling exasperated as she glanced at Jordan and her grandmother.

"She hasn't divorced me, so she won't be getting married to anyone, besides, I'll go explain to them. They would all understand," Jordan said, breaking the silence.

"Zoey, let's go," Jordan continued, pulling Zoey away.

"Where the hell do you think you are going?" Grandmother roared, her expression changed as she rushed after Jordan who was heading to the hall.

Even what was behind a wall couldn't escape their perception. They could see through everything and everyone."We should also make our search," Xander turned to the others the moment the men left. When no one was around, he was more like the leader. Though it was not officially stipulated by either Azure Dragon or Jordan, his strength made him earn respect from the others."

  • Arrival

North Hampton was destined to be in a mess that day. Airports suddenly shut down all of a sudden. The planes that were about to take off suddenly stopped. The customers were given no explanation, only that an order came from above and they couldn't move until the next twenty-four hours. The landing plane was forced to go back to where it was coming back from.Subway stations were closed. No train dared to move. Ferries were more or less the same, and this prevented even buses from going out of the city. This caused a lot of unrest. No one knew what was happening. All they knew was that someone from above stopped all of these movements and no one dared to disobey. At that moment, inside the Mayor's office, a young man rushed into the office, staring at the mayor, who had his eyes closed."Sir, did you see what's happening?" The young man panicked, staring at the Mayor who was calm."I've seen it all, everything," The mayor nodded, his expression not changing. At first, he was also in a

  • Summoning Everyone

"I know, we have to look for a way to stop the master, or else it's going to be perilous for all," Azure Dragon agreed. This was also the reason he called Alice. They had to think of a solution as soon as they could, or else they were all cooked. "What do we do?" Alice asked once again, her voice shaky while she shivered a bit. The thought of Jordan using that method made her shiver in fear. "Inform everyone, all of our men, all the five regiments, every one of them," Azure Dragon instructed, his eyes narrowing into a thin line. "They are all to come to North Hampton in the next two hours, I don't care what they might be doing, they have to leave all that they are doing and come right away," "Yes sir," Alice nodded, knowing just how much this was. If they didn't act fast, then it would be bad for everyone. "Once they've arrived, they should not even bother looking for me, they should just begin the search right away," "They should seal every route leading out of North Hampton.

  • The Master Wants To Use That Method

"Yes, sir." The man nodded and instantly led the two to see the bodies. Walking into the mortuary, he led two to see the bodies, which had already been placed into the cold chamber of the mortuary at the back. Opening two at the same time, he stepped backward to let Azure Dragon and Jordan observe the body. Stepping forward, Azure Dragon stared at the bodies, his expression ashen and his eyes red while he clenched his fist to contain his rage. The bodies before him had been mauled badly showing just how much they were tortured before they died. Bruises on their faces, arms, and legs, and also they looked skinny, like someone who had been starving for a year or so. From what he was seeing, he could tell that the deaths of these two were gruesome. Whoever had killed them tortured them to the point where they chose death as peace. Who the heck was this cruel? Why would they do something like this to his men? Why?! Azure Dragon nearly yelled out, staggering backward, not knowing

  • Keep Your Voice Down

"Sir, what did you see?" Azure Dragon inquired as they drove along the way highest. "That lady is of a Pure Yin constitution," Jordan revealed, the smile on his face a little bit stiff at the moment. All of his and Azure Dragon's Conjectures were slowly coming true. If what they were thinking was true, then Amelia and all those who had been abducted would be in danger. And that was not a good thing. He needed to rescue them as soon as he could. "Sir, since that's the case, wouldn't that make it dangerous leaving her. She would get abducted," Azure Dragon spoke slowly, observing Jordan's expression. "It's not really that hard you know," Jordan chuckled. "I've left my Qi in her body, so once she gets abducted I'll know. That way, we'll be able to know where the culprit is," Jordan revealed. Hearing this, Azure Dragon heaved out a huge sigh of relief. If that was the case, then it was all good. "Now let's go check up on my wife and confirm our theory once again," Jordan said once

  • More Clues

Stepping into the parking lot of the company, Azure Dragon and Jordan instantly began to search around the garage, wanting to see if they would be able to see anything suspicious. First, they headed towards Sarah's car, wanting to see if any trap was set for her there. Observing the car, they saw nothing, which made them breathe a sigh of relief. This meant that there was no way Sarah would be targeted. Though it was all speculation, it was still that way. "Azure Dragon, call Mia and instruct her not to let my wife out of her sight for the time being," Jordan commanded, turning to Azure Dragon. "Yes sir," Azure Dragon nodded, pulling out his phone to make the call while Jordan continued to check the cars. Since Sarah was safe, it didn't really mean that the others were also safe. He was the owner of the company, so he had to take care of employee safety. He was responsible for it and would be questioned for any happenings in the company, he couldn't afford to make a mistake.
