The old man was shocked by the sudden outburst of anger from his grandson and looked at him with a raised eyebrow as if asking why he cursed so loudly and with so much anger all of a sudden .

"Oh,I also heard he was actually in the same city as you,he ran there so he can have his freedom, away from his father. Bastard" the old man sneered.

"We were both third year students" Lyon corrected and the man raised an eyebrow but Lyon didn't explain anything to him,he just continued gnashing his teeth angrily.

They talked for a while longer and soon Lyon left the villa with his securities and the old butler who was nearly sweating buckets when he realized Lyon actually cursed so loudly in front of the old master.

"We should return back to the city tomorrow,I don't like it when I miss classes," Lyon said and Mr Avi nodded without questioning his decisions.

                  …..

That night,Lyon decided to actually spend the night at a hotel so they easily went straight to the airport the next morning.

"Why is it so crowded here?" He asked when he saw all the decorations and people going into the hall of the hotel.

"Mr Jeremy's daughter's birthday is actually today" Mr Avi replied "who's he?" Lyon asked back instead "an entrepreneur, quite a big figure, in fact the Norman family was invited but no one had the time to go so …" Mr Avi shrugged nonchalantly .

"Why?" Lyon asked " the master is quite busy these days and he was even more worried when you were found but injured" Mr Avi replied.

"Will they chase us out if we try to go in now?" Asked Lyon" they won't dare" Mr Avi replied and Lyon nodded," then let's go " he said casually and they both walked towards the party venue.

They were stopped by the security guards who asked for their invitation card and Avi simply mentioned a few things before they were allowed in.

Lyon couldn't help feeling surprised by the whole decorations. It really screams high-class party and all the guests are dressed so extravagantly,he could say he was the only casually dressed in this whole place, well he's not casual, just the people in here are just too much.

The birthday party soon started and all he did was walk around the hall, grabbing desserts and sipping his wine. Even Avi lost him in the middle of the crowd, but thinking it's a good thing if he makes some friends,he didn't try to find him immediately.

The party was going well and many were even bringing gifts over to the birthday girl. That's when Lyon realized he had just walked in here casually without even having any gift for the birthday girl.

He was a little embarrassed by this but he didn't show it,well he wouldn't have if no one noticed and even called him out for it.

"Who's this guy, just casually eating and drinking,he dressed so simply,is he a waiter here or something? He's not even with any gift as well. Is he just here to dine and dash?" A woman sneered.

"People like them are quite common, they sneak into parties for free food, who let him in anyway?" Another lady said displeased.

Lyon was really embarrassed by these accusations,he was just thinking about coming to the party,he even forgot to bring anything along and he didn't sneak in.

"Hey,who let you in?" Someone moved closer and asked with a great displeasure written on her face , she's Amber, the birthday girl and Lyon knew this.

He didn't know how to tell her he just came in because he wanted to see what's going on,that would sound stupid.

"Well, are you deaf now?" Amber asked angrily while glaring at him "I'm Lyon.." he tried to introduce himself,"is the bandage wrapped around your head affecting your ears, she asked how you got in here?" A young man suddenly joined the conversation.

He looks at Lyon with a mocking and ridiculing gaze especially his simple outfit to such a party,he was clearly the cocky and arrogant type,he wanted to impress the birthday girl.

"The security guards" Lyon replied "are they blind, who gave you an invitation, which family did you represent? Are you even qualified to be here?" The man asked continuously.

"I came in place of the Norman family "Lyon replied but everyone around burst into laughter instead, looking at him like a fool or a freak.

"Norman? The Norman clearly declined the invitation lair. How dare you sneak in here " Amber gaze turned cold and looked at him with contempt.

The man chose a more direct way to express his anger,he slapped Lyon directly instead and everyone laughed and pointed a mocking finger at him.

"Thank you Dylan,I don't want to see this piece of trash on my birthday,I invited only the high-class here, not some country bumpkin, who knows, maybe he even borrowed that clothes" Amber sneered.

Lyon was actually surprised by the slap,he wasn't expecting it and he was caught completely off guard by it.

"You just slapped me?" He asked "yes and I will do it again! Don't make Amber angry with your presence, scram!" Dylan hissed.

Amber even splashes wine on his shirt angrily, telling him not to ruin her party and get out of there.

Avi found this situation when he finally found Lyon and was extremely angered by this,he walked forward immediately.

"Mr Avi?" Amber's father, Mr Jeremy who had been silent along was shocked to see the butler and quickly moved towards him to greet him but the man ignored him.

"Young master were you ok?" He asked worriedly,he was afraid the slap from Dylan would hurt his head ,he glared at the two people before facing Lyon again.

The whole whole suddenly quiet down, many were still trying to process the fact that Mr Avi,the butler of the Norman family called Lyon young master and even ignored Mr Jeremy because of him.

"I'm fine" Lyon shook his head and glanced at Amber and Dylan who have suddenly turned pale in fright.

"Let's go"he said to Mr Avi,turned around and left alone .

Mr Avi turned to Mr Jeremy "consider all the partnership between the Norman and the Jeremy cancelled" he dropped this statement and left without another word .

Mr Jeremy turned around angrily and slapped Dylan "you were the one who hit him, this is all your fault, how dare you hit someone at my party"he yelled angrily while all Dylan could do was stood with his head bowed,he was almost cursing the man out loud,he clearly saw everything and knew his daughter was a part of it all but he decided to put the whole blame on him alone .

The guests were suddenly lost for words, who would have thought the man was really a Norman? He dressed so casually and with a thick bandage wrapped around his head,he looked sick.

"You better pray Mr Avi didn't mean any of his threats or you will have yourself to blame" he threatened.

"Leave everyone, the party is over" he directly canceled his daughter's birthday party and sent all the guests away.

"Father" Amber called timidly but she received a hard glare in response " I've told you on many occasions not to judge a book by it cover, you always found every way to make trouble for me,better find that young man and appease to him in anyway you could,if The Normans canceled our partnership, all your cars will be sold ,you should know the situation of the company more than anyone " Mr Jeremy said.

"But dad,I don't even know his name and he came here without any gift for me,he was just eating and he dressed so simply " Amber complained .

"One more word and your bank will be seized ,how dare you talk back to me when you are literally trying to ruin my hard earned business " Mr Jeremy yelled.

"I will find out the little I could, you will go to appease him and give him anything he wants, you are still quite a beauty so he should take a liking to your body or why else would he suddenly appear at your birthday even after his family declined our invitation " Mr Jeremy said.

"What? Give myself to that thing?" Amber looked disgusted " you. will. Do. What. I Said!" He yelled, nearly slapping her.

Amber shrink back her neck and quickly nodded in agreement,if she had known, she wouldn't have said anything to that guy,now her birthday is ruined and she even has to appease him with her body. She wanted to cry at her own misfortune. She's so unlucky for this to happen on her twenty-fifth birthday, she regretted ever splashing that wine on him too.
