Chapter 2 : Into the New World

Olliver woke up gasping for air, his body surging in shock and his pupils widening.

Instantly Olliver touch his whole body and made sure that he was fine without lacking anything.  After seeing that he was fine, Olliver immediately pulled a sigh of relief.

However, there was something troubling for Olliver.  By the way, where is he now?  Why is he wearing a strange outfit like this?

[Welcome to your new world, Host]

Suddenly, there was a voice inside Olliver's head that made him jump from his spot.

"Who are you!?  Show yourself!"  said Olliver, holding up a bolster in front of his body.

[I am System 666 who will help you in your new world]

Again, there was a voice that had no form, Olliver was still turning his head in all directions to find the source of the sound he heard.

“New world?  What do you mean?"  Oliver who was still confused, asked a lot of questions.

For a long time there was no reply from the mysterious voice that had been haunting him for a long time, Olliver was confused about where the voice had gone.

Then, a transparent writing appeared in front of Olliver which made the man surprised because it appeared suddenly.

[System 666 has been detected, will you continue your life in the new world?]

[ Yes |  Not]

Olliver's head was spinning when he saw the writing in front of him, what does all this mean, he really doesn't understand at all.

[If you don't accept the system's offer, then your soul will return to your dead body in your world]

Suddenly, the robotic voice that Olliver had recognized as the voice of something introducing itself as System 666 came back.

“What do you mean?  You said that I had died?”  asked Olliver trying to be sure about his life.

[You're right, your original body has died in your world, the God System has transferred your soul into a new body and world.  If you want to accept it press 'Yes' on the window in front of you]

The voice that sounded like a machine explained the situation Olliver was currently facing.  After hearing System 666's words, Olliver recalled what had happened to him that night.

He was hit by a car that night trying to save a little girl who was trying to cross the road.  Olliver looked at his new body and he began to fear about the death he would experience, if he refused the God System's offer that System 666 said.

With the last of his courage mustered, Olliver slowly reached out with his trembling hand to suppress the 'Yes' writing that was still floating in front of him.

Suddenly a sound like a notification filled Olliver's head right after he pressed yes as instructed by System 666 to him.

[New host has been assigned]

[Welcome to the service of God System, from now on System 666 will help you live your life in your new world]

[Make sure to perform every quest given by System 666, if you violated the quest, then Host will receive punishment]

[Enjoy the God System service]

After a long time, the string of notifications finally stopped and Olliver could breathe a sigh of relief at not hearing that annoying sound anymore.

After that, Olliver's head throbbed in pain as suddenly a lot of information began to enter his head rapidly.

[Memory of the original body will be given to the Host]

[System 666 has completed the process of transferring the original body memory to the Host]

"Is this who I am now?"  mumbled Olliver quietly still with his eyes closed because of the dizziness that was whacking his head.

[You're right, this is all information regarding your new body]

Olliver seems to have to get used to this cold and annoying engine sound from now on.

"Then what should I do now?" asked Olliver directly to System 666.

Ding!

A notification sounded inside Olliver's head, then without a minute a transparent window like before appeared before Olliver.

Olliver's eyes widened in shock when he saw the notification window in front of him, "Are you sure the System wants me to do all of this?"  asked Oliver still in disbelief.

[Of course, you know your current body is very weak, you need great strength to be able to live in your current world]

Hearing System 666's answer, Olliver snorted in annoyance, he thought he could relax in this new world, but instead he was given a difficult task.  It was just the beginning but the quest which given to him to be like this, he had been given such a difficult task.

Reluctantly, Olliver got out of bed to start his life as Timothee Bailey.

For your information, Timothee Bailey is the youngest child of the Bailey noble family in the Numerion Kingdom.

The Numerion Kingdom is currently in the midst of a calamity that has occurred over the past decades due to the arrival of the Demon nation to the Kingdom.

The Numerion Kingdom needed a strong army to repel the Devils from their nation, because of that the youths in the Numerion Kingdom would naturally grow up to become strong people.

However, not for Timothee, supposedly as a family from a noble family that was quite famous in the Numerion Kingdom, he could be born with great power like his other brothers.

However, Timothee actually has a weak strength and also often falls due to an illness he has suffered since childhood.  Because of that, Timothee was exiled from his family, he lived in a house secluded from the main house of the Bailey's.

Timothee only lived with his five servants in a small house behind the Bailey's big mansion.

Because now Olliver has taken over Timothee's body, the man promises to become stronger and make Timothee as strong as the heroes in the Numerion Kingdom.

“Young master, I was just about to call you down,” said Armand – someone Timothee's father had asked to look after Timothee – as he watched Timothee turn down the stairs from his room.

"Is everyone gathered?"  asked Timothee as he walked downstairs.

Olliver saw in the memory transferred by System 666 to him that this person, Timothee really liked to eat together with the servants who had been assigned to him.

Oliver thought it seemed like this boy was a little lonely because he lived apart from his family who had purposely isolated him.

"Of course, we have, Young Master."  Armand walked behind Timothee who stepped toward the dining table which was already filled with various delicious foods.

“Good morning, Young Master!”  said Giselle – the waitress and chef assigned to Timothee – with enthusiasm for Timothee.

"Good morning, Giselle.  What food did you serve to me this morning?”  ask Timothee.

Ding!

Timothee heard a ringing sound that he had recently heard as a notification sound from the System, suddenly he had a bad feeling when he heard the sound.

[Quest 1: Don't praise Giselle's cooking this morning]

Instantly Timothee could sense that his bad premonition had come true.
