ESMERALDA, 8 YEARS AGO.

Queen Esmeralda III was in her throne room, a look of concern on her face. She had received some information that seemed to add a new change to her life the previous night. That information kept her in thoughts, her heart sodden and heavy. As she waited, her personal Knight approached her in the throne room, genuflecting before her.

"Your majesty." He greeted, his eyes glued to the ground. She waved her right hand upwards.

"Arise. What was the Mage's response?" She spoke.

He did as instructed and immediately responded. "She says she shall be on her way soon. She has a few activities to engage."

She sighed, her head heaving up and down a nod.

"Alright. Do you know why I seek her, Erasmus?" She asked.

"No, your majesty." He shook his head.

"My daughter — Historia. The premonition reveals she is not the next Queen." She stated. His eyes widened in shock.

"Good grief. Did the Mage tell you that?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"No. I had the premonition, a d

In that moment David came swooping in again, slamming him on the ground. He got up, angered by the player's interruption. "You stupid delinquent. Don't you ever learn?!" He yelled. David scoffed, raising his shoulders. "Maybe I don't care about the consequences." He responded. He dodged downwards, evading an attack from one fairy. • How the Hell did you do that?

Zeddicus, the twins and Meena kept moving at an equally fast pace, watching the multitude of people en route the various exit points already installed in the town. A knight saluted Zeddicus, willing to join him but the latter dismiss him, instructing him to focus on the people…they needed his service more. They finally got to the outskirts of Ladus after some minutes, meeting Colleen who stood at before the town, anticipating the oncoming storm. "The evacuation is going well." Meena spoke, stopping beside her. "I know. The Doctor said it will take at most an hour to fully evacuate the town." She responded. "At this rate, I doubt they'll have an hour. They're coming in pretty fast." Zeddicus stated. She sighed then stepped forward, stopping at a spot. She bent then pulled a lever, and like an automated machine, long rows of iron bars rose, forming a barrier before them. "I had the knights set this up quickly. It's not solid, but it should help reduce the workload." She spoke. "I

  • It won't hurt to borrow a little fairy lore, will it?

"I lost them." Gandu spoke, dropping the sword and unplugging the thin wires he wrapped around the base which contained dark matter. He slammed his right fist on the table."It's okay. They'll be back. We need to evacuate Ladus now." Colleen spoke. In that moment, Audrey returned with Enitan who was still in her medical robe. "I have put a call to every knight and soldier. The people are retreating now." She spoke. "Good." Colleen nodded, facing the brick wall David had teleported behind. "I just hope you come back now, David. Please do." She whispered then turned to leave. "Audrey, Enitan and Gandu. Start packing. Grab as many weapons as you can carry and get to the rendezvous with the people. We'll set up a perimeter around Ladus." She instructed. "I can fight alongside you guys." Audrey protested. "Young Lady. I know you're special and I know you're capable of handling a few monsters on your own, but I'll be damned to put you on the front lines. David will never forgive me i

  • Hello from a fellow player.

"How long do you think it will take for them to return?" Colleen asked. Gandu got off his seat, walking to the door. He needed to get some fresh air. "A few minutes or hours or days. I don't know. Aterista is an entirely different realm from ours. Time works in different ways. Hopefully they get back before anything seriously bad happens." He responded, shrugging his shoulders. "Okay." She voiced weakly, picking the sword up. Audrey walked into the lab, meeting only her there. She approached the older lady and tugged her side, notifying her of her presence near her. "Sorry I didn't pay attention love." Colleen smiled. "It's okay." The girl voiced, settling on a chair. "So how long before they return?" Audrey stroke a conversation. "I just asked Gandu. Well, nobody knows." She responded."I'm sure they'll return quickly. The quest is going to be successful and they'll save Aterista." Audrey spoke."I really hope so." Colleen sighed, even her tone hinted the doubt in her mind. Ho

"Why only you three? You know I can be of help too." Colleen questioned. "I know, but I feel it's the wisest idea. You're powerful. Very powerful. This thing probably wants me, and they system wants me to stop it. It's a priority for me." David replied. They were at Ladus's laboratory, the same one they had experienced their last few magical and interdemensional escapades. He had concluded to go with one teammate and Nuran to investigate the effects of the void in Aterista while Gandu helped work on some additional things for them. "And Dana?" She questioned. "You'll want me to not go alone. I need Nuran to navigate her world and Dana is a pretty good back up option. I want you to stay here and protect Ladus. Please, protect Audrey more." He pleaded calmly. She shook her head and shrugged. "Well, I can do that. Just get your priorities right." "Yes ma'am." He chuckled then pecked her forehead. "Are you through with what you're creating?" He questioned Gandu who sat at the lab's
