“Can you see? Is it working?”

Doctor Chan Wu excitedly rubbed his hands and leaned his face closer to Bin, more than necessary, in fact. His twinkling eyes were stared fixedly at the youth’s face, or more precisely, his new artificial eye. Unlike the silver prosthetic arm, Bin’s new eye looked identical to the real one but it functioned a bit differently.

“There’s a lot of stuff going on.”

“Of course there are! Hahaha” Chan Wu was beaming with joy and jumping on his chair like a little kid. Emilia too, was faintly smiling, she was relieved that the process of implanting the eye- which is none too easy- was smooth-sailing and utterly void of any complication.
