Fight - 1 (Rescue)

Tsume valley was a small valley with a river flowing through it . The valley was completely covered by tall trees and mist . Occasionally few roars could be heard .

Right now , Bai chen had a solemn expression . This eyes were locked on the figure standing opposite to him .

It was a big bear . The bear had red eyes with brown fur , saliva was dripping down from its mouth as it growled at him . There were many injuries on its body but the bear just ignored them .One look an you can tell that it was not an ordinary wild bear but a wild beast .

Though it didn't know how to utilise chakra in its body but still the chakra gave it a considerable boost in physique. It had sharper fangs , longer and more deadlier claws . Its size was also huge - about ten meters long and five meters high - which indicates its explosive strength.

Let's rewind the time for few minutes~

Bai chen has been in this forest for two hours and after two hours of relentlessly searching he still couldn't find any beast suitable for him .

He was tired after searching relentlessly for so long , it was a burden for him to run around nonstop for such a long time . So , he took a short rest on a tree to recover , it had only been ten minutes when he felt a commotion nearby .

He first decided to ignore the commotion but while he was resting there were faint tremors. Faint footsteps could be heard which soon turned into Heavy footsteps .

'It seems like the commotion is heading towards me . Well let's wait and see maybe I can find something interesting.'

Bai chen decided to stay , he had a hunch maybe he will find what he was searching for.

The sound got louder and louder , finally a small pangolin came in the view followed by a large bear . The bear from a distance looked like a huge boulder.

The bear looked strong but what piqued Bai chen's attention was the pangolin . It had brown scaled with yellow at the edges, small but sharp claws . It was trying its best to outrun the bear .

From its size alone it can be inferred that the pangolin wasn't that old , it may even be only few months old . Bai chen can sense that despite having a small body the amount of chakra it contained was huge for its current age .

'Its talent is the strongest I have seen so far..'

A thought came to his mind and he decided to take action . He jumped from the tree , landed next to the pangolin and picked it up from the ground and started running in other direction .

It all happened in an instant , it took bear some time to process that someone has stolen its prey . By the time bear came to its senses , Bai chen had already vanished in the mist .

The bear went berserk and started thrashing the place . Few meter away Bai chen can hear the sound of tree falling from behind .

The bear went berserk but the danger still hadn't subdued, in a hurry Bai chen couldn't erase his scent , the bear can track him . The thought of outrunning it never crossed his mind because his stamina is much worse than the bear . He could just hide somewhere by covering all his traces but he didn't want to because he really wanted to fight it , the current him can not win in a direct confrontation but with terrain advantage and traps he can certainly do so.

The terrain he chose for himself was a marshland . These types of marshland was very common in land of water . The marshland was covered in long wild grass , the water reached till knees and had soft land underneath it . For Bai chen this terrain was no problem because he can walk on water but same could not be said for the bear .
