Arthur dashed towards the boss monster, glaring into it's eyes as he weaved through the metal spikes which were fired at his face. He seemed determined to attack the monster without holding back his strength.
Any metal spike he was unable to dodge, he punches them without hesitation! His punch coupled with his azure flames, would shatter the spike and send the shards flying to scattered directions! The power behind each of his punches were powerful, just a single strike now would deal ten times his usual damage. This also meant it drained ten times the SQ a usual attack would drain. "Heh heh!" Arthur's eyes gleamed in a demonic light as he leapt towards the Iron Hooves, brandishing his flaring fist as his aura exploded to shroud the entire arena in a sea of majestic azure flames. “Self Taught Azure Art — Azure Hell Fist!” All the heat in the atmosphere was sucked into his fist the second it was thrown out, causing the heated temperature of the area to descend into a freezing cold as he punched the face of the boss. In an explosion of sound, the tough metallic hide of the boss was blown apart! It's shards allowed to rain all over the area following it's blood. This allowed his azure flames to burn through bone and deal damage to the monster. "I don't remember shrivelling back and waiting to get stronger in the face of danger when I faced this thing in the past! I guess I've been getting a bit too careful these days and underestimating my capabilities!" Arthur sucked in a deep breath as he spun around midair to deliver another blow — a direct heel kick that landed on the other side of the monster's face, blasting the boss to the side with it's sheer power. The minute as he'd knocked the monster to the side, a gleam flashed past his eyes as Arthur quickly spun his body again mid air to dodge a metal spike that rose from the earth at a very fast speed — nearly ripping him in two rough halves. Uncaring, Arthur allowed himself to land safely with no injuries before dashing away from the monster. He glanced to the side, then at the Iron Hooves before his eyes narrowed down to slits as he focused all his will. Suddenly, numerous spikes rushed at him from all the directions. Surrounding Arthur and leaving no path to escape, and unless he was able to fly, all that was there for him to do was to dodge with all his might! He had already focused his will the minute he noticed something strange with his surroundings, now all he did was to guide his focused will into dodging all of the spikes. Only then would he be allowed the chance to counter attack! Left - Right, Right - Left - Right! Arthur's body turned into a faint blur as he moved at maximum speed to dodge all the spikes, sweat mixed with blood ran down his face as he expended energy to dodge. He had already turned down his azure flames, then he retrieved his burning aura to focus all his energy into dodging all the spikes. Sometimes he would have to deflect them with his hands and legs, burning more of his precious SQ. The monster was slowly recovering, unlike himself whose blood and energy was fast depleting with each passing second. If the onslaught was dragged on for a long time, then he would be in a lot of trouble. Not only would he become completely weak and lose all his ability to fight, he would also get himself struck by the sea of metal spikes. Ultimately, he would get injured and die if he doesn't put an end to everything. "Damn it! Someone would need to distract it for some time. Just enough for me to break through the wave of metal spikes and give it another punch!" Arthur's eyes gleamed as he began to gather energy whilst dodging. "Fight! Fight! Fight! Why do we always have to fight all the time? I want to sleep~!" Aaron leaped out of the shadows with a grin on his face, his shadow stretched out to cover the earth in a mile radius around himself and an elated Arthur. "Aaron? Good enough, good enough! He can manage the monster for me just until I can break out of this vile encirclement!" Arthur's gleaming eyes shone as his speed began to slowly rise. Suddenly, he was able to shatter the metal spikes with ease and precision. “Azure Dragon Arts — Diamond Shattering Claws!” Aaron glanced at Arthur, then raised his daggers and slashed down at the monster. The minute he had done that, a torrent of shadowy blades descended upon the boss monster, tearing through it's hide with ease! [Shadow Slash, 10 Blade Art!] [Shadow Slash, 20 Blade Art!] [Shadow Slash, 30 Blade Art — Defense Rend!] The numerous shadow blades tore through the Iron Hooves, ripping it open and letting it's blood spray all over the area. The strikes were fierce and fast, letting it chip at the monster's health at a very fast rate! Master a skill, master that one skill until you reach the ultimate peak! Until you can rip apart the world with that one skill, that was the path of cultivation Aaron chose on the journey of ascension. “Boom!” At that moment, Arthur had burst through the wild encirclement of spikes with his azure flames, taking just a single dash away from the monster. He wanted to use the opportunity to regenerate his Qi. "Huuu…" Arthur took in a deep breath as he tried to calm his turbulent aura, allowing his energy to enter the state of rejuvenation. This state of dead calm and stillness was the foundation of Qi cultivation. The stillness of body and soul allowed one to absorb more energy from the surroundings, and just like the monsters they faced — regenerate. The stronger you are, the better your regenerative abilities. From light wounds to even amputated limbs — one was able to regenerate it all if they had the ability to do so. It was the perks of cultivating Supreme Qi in coordination with the powers of the system. "Hah… Hah…" Arthur had forfeited forcing his awakening being in a state of crisis, but that didn't mean he had completely given up on the plan. If he had a chance, he would not hesitate and chip at the bottleneck furiously! Breaking through to the next level, that was a priority he could not abandon completely despite the hardship he faces! Even if he was to sleep here and wait till he finally breaks the cap over his strength, he would do it without wasting a single second! "Aaron, I'm going in for another round. I'll leave you to defend me from those things." Arthur opened his eyes, then he shook his head to wake up from his state of cultivation. Stopping his cultivation also seized his recovery process, and this stunned Aaron. "Wh–what are you doing? You should try your best to recover while this monster is being held back!" Aaron warned just the next second after he glanced over at Arthur and saw what he was up to. As soon as he had woken himself up, he reached into his pockets and groped around for just a few seconds before pulling something out and throwing it to the frozen Aaron. "It's a Spatial Recovery Pill, think I swiped this at the cafeteria a while back? Was it Monday or Tuesday? I don't really remember, it should be fresh." Arthur said before throwing a similar looking pill into his mouth and swallowing it down without hesitating. The minute he swallowed it, Arthur felt strangeness all over his body as an energy burst forth from his own stomach to wrap around his skin. The energy slowly reached into his aura, shrouding it to cover a vast distance before quickly retracting. "You stole this? I'm so proud of you brother." Aaron scrutinized the pill in his palm before putting it in his mouth and swallowing down. As soon as he swallowed it, his aura spiked and shrouded the area around him before slowly retracting back into his soul. As soon as Arthur's SQ was regenerated, he dashed towards the boss monster at a very fast speed! The very second he got in range, he punched the monster with all his might. The power from the strike coupled with the power of his azure flames and running start, shattered the hide and bone of the monster with ease. An explosion of sound and blood occured, and a powerful shockwave that rocked the earth followed. “Self Taught Azure Dragon Arts — Vengeance Of The Bastard Void Dragon!” Awakening before ripping apart his enemy? No, that was a cowards style of battle. As for himself? He was going to tear open his prey irregardless of strength, that was his path as an azure dragon — his pride! "I wasn't joking when I said I'm going to plummet you into oblivion with my fist!" Arthur roared as he leapt towards the boss with all his remaining might being poured into his fist — preparing for another punch. “Self Taught Azure Dragon Arts — A True Dragon's Rage, Final Attack!”

"Hehe, the idiot must have noticed the death of his followers by now and must have understood that his target is being assisted by a powerful entity." Rylex chuckled to herself. Her face was vibrant and she was brimming with energy and excitement. "…" Syx turned her head to face Rylex, staring at the side of the goddess's face. Her glowing eyes flashed as she collapsed into the sea of thought, and in a flash, her expression went blank. "It won't be long until he starts to feed me more of his stronger followers, each of them as a probe to guage my strength." Rylex rolled her eyes with a sneer, her aura was shrouded with arrogance and pride, "Unless some elder god were to make their move, even the god of death himself would he unable to stop me." She was a bit pumped, and it showed with her not even trying to hide it. After a few seconds, she was finally able to calm herself and pick up her speech. "If not for my inability to leave Jack here and just—" Rylex paused, her brows furr

Mylos clung unto the walls of a tall building, gazing past the massive fence to view the plethora of houses before him. With his demonic vision, he was able to see objects metres away as if they were just an inch away from him. "Just a few hunters patrolling by that alley to the west. I should be able to avoid them if I'm careful. What I need now is a place to stay the night." Mylos spoke softly with his head bowed in thought, and brows knitted. In his bag, he had some “credits” which humans deemed useful for transactions. He calculated having enough for more than a few months of rent, but decided on paying for just a few nights since he would be mobile. "I can also last some weeks more without any food, but I'll be forced to find a meal if I get too weak from these hunger pangs." Mylos frowned, then he shook his head and clenched his right fist, "Let me get away from here." As soon as Mylos clenched his fingers digging into the wall into a fist, he crushed a part of the wall

A young boy ran briskly through a forest with a frown on his extremely handsome face. He was wearing a plain black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head to cover his hair. Strapped to the side of waist was a sword still in it's sheath. Everytime the boy's feet landed on the ground, he would appear metres away in the distance like a phantom without even leaving an afterimage. It was as if he was using a strange version of teleportation. Chasing after him was a blue haired girl on a bike were a crop top and a short shirt. A large claymore was strapped to her back, but it wasn't sheathed, boldly displaying it's blade. The dark grey blade of the claymore which was riddled with glowing green runes gave off an intimidating and dangerous vibe to whoever set their eyes on it. From the size alone, one could only imagine how powerful the wielder must be to have the ability to use it in a battle. The forest today was exceptionally quiet except for some tweets from the scarce birds f

"Sit." Mylos blinked, then sat down on the chair facing that of his father. He stared into the man's eyes, his brows were furrowed and shoulders tense. He seemed anxious, but did not give himself away with any strange action. "Father, I—" The Chaos Eminence waved his hand, causing Mylos to shut his mouth and look away. After he had given his son the signal to shut his mouth, the Chaos Eminence drops his hand and laid it upon the table between them. "Don't bother yourself…" The Chaos Eminence sighed as he closed his eyes and laid back in his seat, "A large number of them had attacked the building you told me you would hide in. I guess, that was a very smart move." "No father. This has gotten to something beyond what I am able to handle." Mylos cut in after listening to all his father had to say, his brows still furrowed as he was still in deep thoughts, "I believe you know what I saw there." The Chaos Eminence smiled warmly as he picked up a glass cup filled with water and
