Swoosh!

Bam!

Kai was thrown hard to the ground as a punch landed squarely on his face.

"Aarrgh!" He spat blood, feeling one of his teeth come loose. His eyes widened in disbelief at what had just happened.

Several Black Mamba members nearby rushed to his side. "What happened?!"

Kai lifted his bruised face and stared at the figure standing before him. Under the dim streetlight, Hansen stood with his fist still clenched, his expression calm yet dangerous.

"Y-You..." Kai stammered, still trying to comprehend the situation.

"You talk too much in public," Hansen said coldly.

The remaining Black Mamba members immediately went on alert, drawing knives and chains. "Bastard! How dare you attack Kai!"

Hansen shrugged nonchalantly. "If you want to join him, feel free."

Without further hesitation, three men charged at Hansen simultaneously!

One swung a knife at Hansen’s chest, while another attempted to strike from the side with a metal chain.

However, to Hansen, their movements felt slow.

He leaned back slightly, allowing the knife to miss by mere centimeters. In the blink of an eye, he grabbed the man’s wrist and twisted it harshly!

Crack!

"Aaaagh!" The man screamed in pain as his bone dislocated.

Meanwhile, the metal chain flew towards him, but Hansen quickly caught it mid-air. With one powerful pull, he yanked the man holding the chain towards him and slammed his elbow straight into the man’s face!

Thud!

Blood splattered as the man immediately crumpled to the ground.

Seeing two of their comrades defeated in mere seconds, the remaining Black Mamba members began to tremble. They hadn’t expected Hansen to be this strong.

Kai, still lying on the ground, watched in horror. He realized they were no match for Hansen.

However, before Kai could attempt to escape, Hansen was already above him, gripping his shirt collar with one hand.

"Listen carefully," Hansen said in a low voice, but one filled with pressure. "Tell me who ordered the assassination attempt on me."

Kai bit his lip, unwilling to speak.

Hansen leaned closer to him. "I can make you lose more than just a tooth if you stay silent."

Kai’s eyes trembled. He knew the threat wasn’t an empty one.

Finally, with a shaky voice, he spoke. "...The big boss ordered it."

Hansen narrowed his eyes. "Who’s your big boss?"

Kai swallowed nervously. "T-The Black Mamba leader... and someone from outside..."

"Someone from outside?" Hansen furrowed his brow. "Who?"

Kai hesitated, but before he could answer, the sound of roaring engines echoed in the distance.

VROOM!

Hansen turned to see a group of people in black jackets with the Black Mamba symbol approaching rapidly.

"Bastard! How dare you attack our men!"

"Kill him!"

Hansen smirked slightly. "Looks like we’ve attracted more attention than I expected."

Without hesitation, he released his grip on Kai and prepared to face the next wave of enemies.

Not a trace of fear was visible in Hansen’s eyes. Instead, he looked relaxed, even slightly smiling, as if the armed people approaching him posed no real threat.

The Black Mamba members surrounded him in a half-circle formation. Some wielded iron rods, others carried folding knives and steel chains. The air was thick with violence and a murderous intent emanated from them.

"Do you really think you can leave here alive?" one of them mocked Hansen with a sneer.

Hansen just shrugged. "You guys seem either overly confident... or just plain stupid."

Without any signal, three of them lunged at him!

Swish!

A knife shot towards him, followed by a swing of an iron rod from the side. But in one swift movement, Hansen spun behind them, letting the knife slice only the air.

Thud!

A hard punch landed in the stomach of the man holding the knife, making him bend over with wide eyes. Before the others could react, Hansen grabbed the iron rod from his opponent and slammed it into the man’s shoulder.

Crack!

"Aaaagh!" The man fell to the ground, his shoulder dislocated.

The others froze for a moment, shocked at how easily Hansen dispatched two of them in just seconds.

"Don’t be afraid! Attack him all at once!"

With that shout, all the remaining Black Mamba members charged in unison!

The nightclub music still blasted in the background, creating an odd contrast to the brutal fight happening outside. Hansen moved among them with incredible speed, dodging every attack with perfect precision.

Wham!

A knee hit the face of one of the attackers, sending him flying backward.

Crash!

Hansen caught the wrist of another man who tried to stab him, then swiftly spun his body, throwing the man into a nearby table until it shattered into pieces.

The onlookers could only gawk in disbelief.

"Is he a monster?"

"He’s fighting us alone… and winning!"

A mix of awe and fear spread across their faces. One by one, the Black Mamba members began to realize they had no chance of winning.

Hansen stepped forward, his gaze cold. "If you don’t want to end up like your friends, I suggest you surrender now."

A few who were still standing began to back away in fear. Even Kai, who had been confident earlier, was now trembling at Hansen’s strength.

But before anyone could speak, the sound of slow clapping echoed from within the alley.

Clap... Clap... Clap...

Everyone turned. From the darkness, a tall man in a black suit appeared, walking casually towards them.

Hansen looked at the man warily.

"Who are you?" he asked.

The man grinned, his eyes filled with curiosity. "I’m interested in your abilities… Young man."

He’s like a ghost—comes and goes without a sound. But I don’t feel like he’s an enemy. And he’s not a target.”“Then why is the Captain so interested in him?”Mona turned her head sharply. “I’m just curious. Focus on our mission. Have all preparations been checked?”The driver nodded. “Ammunition’s loaded, infiltration team is already at the northern point, drone’s on standby. We’re ready to move in and extract the package.”“Good,” Mona muttered, lowering the window slightly to let the cold mountain breeze brush her f
