"Ferdinan, I should go home. There's nothing for me to do here anyway. Thanks for showing me the world," Hansen smiled at Ferdinan, then glanced at Laura. "Call me sometime. I'm looking forward to our next meeting."

Hansen walked away from the crowd and the banquet that, truthfully, never needed his presence.

Meanwhile, hidden in a corner on the second floor of the same building, Candra stared at his phone screen with a sinister grin. Beside him, Farel and Dion were plugging a small square device into a laptop.

"It's connected to the building's security system. We can manipulate the CCTV," Dion reported, his fingers dancing across the keyboard.

"Good," Candra replied flatly. "Hansen will exit through the basement parking. Make sure the cameras there only show a static image."

Farel added, "We’ve already tagged Hansen’s car. Once he gets in, we’ll activate the signal jammer. He won’t be able to call for help."

Hansen was on his way home when Laotaro called.“Mr. Hansen. There’s someone who needs your help. Are you willing to assist?”“What kind of help?” Hansen asked.“Let the person explain it themselves. Where are you now?”Hansen glanced at the quiet night road, the city lights reflecting softly on his car window.“I’m on my way home. About ten more minutes to my apartment,” he answered calmly. On the other end, Laotaro’s voice sounded slightly tense. “In that case, I’ll send her to you. Her name is Delia. She’ll be waiting in the lobby. She’s not an ordinary person.”The call ended.Hansen frowned. He had never heard Laotaro speak that formally—it was as if he were suppressing something much deeper.A few minutes later, Hansen’s car arrived at his apartment building. He stepped out, handed the keys to the valet, and walked into the main lobby. There stood a young woman—elegant yet mysterious. Her

The blue light in Hansen’s hand swirled slowly above the victim’s body. A burnt scent began to rise as the symbol on the man's chest reacted—violently trembling, then shrinking, as if terrified by the power about to erase it.But before Hansen could complete his technique, the door burst open with force. An elderly man in an expensive suit and piercing gaze entered with authoritative steps.“Delia, stop. What are you doing with this random young man?”Hansen slowly lowered his hand, staring at the man without a word.Delia turned around, her face unchanged—cold and calm.“Uncle, he has a name. Hansen. Directly recommended by Mr. Laotaro,” Delia said.“Pfft, just a youngster,” the uncle scoffed, clapping his hands twice. “Look who I brought. He’s a Geomancy Expert who has aided noble families in seven countries. Compared to this boy, he’s more than enough.”Heavy footsteps echoed into the room. A middle-aged man in a brow

"Return… to the source of whoever sent you."Hansen’s voice rang out clearly, firm and echoing like the hammer of justice. His hand pressed down on the curse pattern, now partially unraveled. The once gentle blue aura now flared like spiritual flames, forming a spinning circle above the victim’s body. Instantly, the jet-black mark on the victim’s chest glowed a burning red and—BANG!A loud crash shook the entire room. Robert Vandrel’s body was thrown backward, slamming hard into the wall as the large painting behind him fell and struck his shoulder.Delia Vandrel stood in shock. Her eyes widened, and her breath caught. She turned slowly from Hansen to her uncle, now collapsed on the floor.“No way…” she muttered. But her heart already knew—the truth was undeniable. Hansen’s spiritual technique couldn’t have attacked an ordinary person… unless the caster’s soul was tied into the curse. She stared straight at her uncl

"Mr. Hansen, thank you very much for your help. I’ll handle the payment right away, and that’s enough for now. Let me take care of Robert. This is a family matter." Delia Asked. "Alright. Up to you! I’m tired anyway, I just want to rest," Hansen replied.Hansen was escorted home, and before arriving at his apartment, he received a bank notification stating his balance had increased by 50 million dollars.“Ugh, that’s quite a lot of money. I guess you could say I’m rich now,” he muttered as he entered the apartment. The next morning, Hansen woke up later than usual. His body felt lighter, although the spiritual energy inside him was still not fully stable. Last night’s ritual had drained much of his strength—not physically, but spiritually. He sat cross-legged on his bed, regulating his breathing, and slowly opened his eyes. That morning, after finishing his breathing and energy realignment, Hansen went downstairs for breakfast. His apartment was on the 38th floor, with a direct view

  • Man From Another Wold   Chapter 43: The Listening Ear

Darkness still clouded Hansen’s vision as he slowly opened his eyes, squinting bit by bit. The scent of sandalwood and synthetic leather still lingered in the air. The car was still moving, its gentle vibrations palpable beneath his body. His eyes briefly scanned the surroundings—luxurious interior ceiling, dim lighting, and a spiritual metal partition enclosing the space where he was held. But none of that truly worried him.He exhaled slowly... and closed his eyes again. The sedative? Useless. As a Foundation-Level Cultivator, his body had long developed immunity against mid-tier toxins, including neurotoxic gas like that. But pretending to be unconscious was the fastest way into the heart of the enemy's den.‘Let them think I’m out. The more intel I gather before I act, the better,’ he thought.Several minutes passed in silence before Ethan's voice could be heard from the other side of the partition.“Yes, we’re almost there,” Ethan’s voice came through a phone call. Calm, yet seri

  • Man From Another Wold   Chapter 44: A Flash in the Darkness

The blue flash hadn’t fully faded when dust and alarms filled the room. The spiritual explosion from Hansen’s lightning summoning had severely damaged the security system. One by one, the light crystals went out, leaving flickers of fire from overloaded electrical panels. The first three guards collapsed, their suits emitting smoke—useless against the pure energy assault.Behind a one-way mirror, the head scientist—an older man with graying hair and eyes as sharp as needles—watched the monitor with growing alarm.“How did he break through?! That should be impossible without an assistive device!”The assistant beside him typed frantically, panic on her face. “Energy levels are rising… now beyond Foundation Stage threshold. It’s unstable… he’s channeling power from an external source!”“External?!” the scientist turned sharply. “What do you mean?!”“An external entity… something directly connected to the atmosphere! It’s like he’s drawing energy from the sky itself!”Meanwhile, amidst t

  • Man From Another Wold   Chapter 45: The Arrival of Thorax

Heavy footsteps echoed from the corridor leading to the laboratory’s main chamber. The rhythm was steady, slow—yet each step seemed to compress the very air around it, making the remaining guards tense up instantly. From the dark corridor, a massive figure finally emerged.Thorax.Leader of the Western Black Tiger.Over two meters tall, his body was clad in gleaming black armor lined with glowing red veins that looked like molten magma. His hair was shaved close, and his face seemed carved from steel—expressionless. In his left hand, he held a black helmet resembling a horned tiger’s head. Two guards tried to speak, but their bodies trembled. Their fear wasn’t born from military authority—it was the fear born of reputation. He wasn’t just a crime syndicate leader. He was a former soldier from the living weapon project.Half-human. Half-experiment.Thorax stopped before the shattered doorway, broken earlier by Hansen’s burst of energy. His eyes scanned the wreckage, the fallen bodies,

Smoke and dust still lingered heavily in the underground chamber. The sound of cracking walls and creaking metal echoed slowly with the passing time.Kira bit her lip behind the shadow of a half-destroyed weapon rack. Her eyes were locked on the tablet screen, which continued processing the data from the last collision.“Their power... it’s equivalent to a collision between two missiles.”A heavy, raspy voice broke the silence.“I... haven’t lost yet.”Thorax.Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his body remained standing—though trembling. His left arm hung uselessly, bones broken, and part of his armor was blackened, melted by heat and lightning. But his gaze was not extinguished.A few meters in front of him, Hansen knelt with one hand bracing his body on the floor. His breath was ragged, parts of his clothing were scorched, and the lightning flowing through his body began to destabilize.Yet he managed a faint smile.“Not bad... for a half-machine.”Thorax took a slow

His fingers trembled as he dialed."Elara," his voice hoarse. "They took Kira."On the other end, Elara let out a long sigh. "I saw it through the CCTV. A man dragged her eastward, toward the Industrial District."Hansen clenched his fist. "I’m going after them.""Wait!" Elara shouted. "You need a plan. They’re not playing around—""I don’t care if they have a thousand vampires," Hansen growled. The room around her was dim, lit only by a few candles floating in the air."Ah, the

Hansen shouted over the engine’s roar.Kira nodded before realizing he couldn’t see her. "Yeah! It’s really fast!"Hansen chuckled, then suddenly swerved sharply into a narrow alley. Kira let out a small scream, gripping him tighter. "Watch out, Hansen!"But Hansen was a pro. With deadly precision, the big bike glided smoothly toward a renovated old building. • Chapter 64: Traces of Bond

The morning sun crept gently through the window, softly washing over Hansen’s already-awake face. His eyes—usually alert and calculating—now looked at Kira with a rare tenderness. Her body was still wrapped under the blanket, only her shoulders and messy black hair visible atop the pillow.Hansen took a deep breath. Memories of the previous night flashed in his mind—the trembling first touch, Kira’s breathless gasps between kisses, and how her body responded to every stroke of his hand. The dried blood on the sheet wasn’t just proof of Kira’s virginity, but a small battle they had fought against the pain that had slipped between those intimate moments."I'm okay," Kira had whispered last night, even though her forehead had furrowed in discomfort.Hansen rubbed his face. Desire still smoldered within him, but he held it back. Kira must be exhausted—not just from work, but also from their first experience together.Moving carefully, Hansen got out of bed, trying not to wake her. He grab

  • Chapter 63: The Awakening of Hidden Energy

That night, in Laotaro’s modest underground chamber, Hansen sat cross-legged atop a meditation circle drawn with special chalk. The damp stone walls were lined with shelves full of strange potions and dried roots. Kira sat in the corner, her eyes fixed on Hansen, whose body had begun to emit a pale blue aura."How much longer will he be like this?" Kira whispered to Laotaro, who was preparing herbal tea."The fusion process between the Thousand-Year Ginseng and his cultivation core takes time, Miss Kira," Laotaro replied as he poured hot water. "Could be an hour… or all night—"Suddenly, the entire room trembled. Bottles on the shelves rattled, and concrete dust rained down from the ceiling. Hansen raised both hands, a swirl of spiritual energy forming above his head."AAAAARGH!"His voice echoed strangely, as if layered with multiple tones. A golden triangle symbol reappeared on his forehead, glowing brightly.Kira jumped to her feet, an automatic knife already in her hand. "Somethin

  • Chapter 62: The Eternal Choice

Hansen stood between two portals, his heart torn in two. On one side, Kira and Elara—the only family he had in this foreign world. On the other, the true world of cultivation, a place where he could reach the peak of power and perhaps… find a way home for real."Choose wisely," the voice of the Sky God echoed. "Return as a mortal man, or continue as an immortal cultivator."Hansen clenched his fists. In the first portal, he saw Kira kneeling in the ruins, her tears falling onto the dusty ground. Elara stood behind her, her face blank but eyes red. Laotaro gathered the remaining fragments of the Ginseng, as if hoping to reassemble it.In the second portal, floating mountains soared through a blue sky, ancient swords gleamed in the distance, and spiritual energy flowed like rivers of gold."I…"Suddenly, from the first portal, Kira’s desperate voice rang out: "We’ll find a way to bring you back, Han!"Something stirred in Hansen’s chest.
