CHAPTER 25-FINDING THE FEMALE KILLER

"This is your home from now on," Detective Ace says. I stare blankly at the door in front of us. It's a condo unit.

"Ahh, I can't leave here," I refuse.

Just by the looks of the door, the hallway, and even the outside of this building, it already seems expensive. It's not that I don't have the money to pay for it, I just prefer our home. I feel like I'm still with Mom when I live there.

"Don't worry, this unit is under your name now!" I can't even open my mouth to appeal again. "And don't keep asking questions so you won't find out who among Lesia and I owe you a debt of gratitude."
