CHAPTER 24- FORGOTTEN

I find myself unable to move my body. My eyelids weigh heavily, refusing to open.

I sense the gentle softness of the bed beneath me, and faintly perceive the sounds of the room surrounding me.

Where am I? Why am I immobilized, unable to open my eyes or utter a word? Am I still among the living or have I descended into the depths of hell?

I long to scratch my forehead, yet I am incapable of doing so. What kind of situation is this? Is this truly what they refer to as the afterlife?

The door opens, accompanied by the sound of approaching footsteps. Wait, why is there a door? Could I be in the judgment room?

"When will Lynn regain consciousness? It has been over two months since my friend fell into a coma."

Over two months? Who is this woman?

"Considering the severity of her injuries, it is expected for her to be in this state. The trauma has caused swelling in her brain. Frankly, it's a miracle that she is still alive despite the numerous deep cuts she has suffered. She's a true fighter.
