Chapter One

"Your admission has been revoked Mr. Crox, please leave the university premises."

Peter Crox, an ordinary guy working hard to earn a better life stood shocked in the Grimland university admission office as he was immediately sent out even before he could get the chance to start studying.

"What? But I just received an acceptance email a few days ago." He couldn't accept it, Grimland university was his only chance at changing his life, however he was also losing that opportunity?

The admission officer sneered, "Do you think someone like you is worthy of studying at this university? Just take a look at yourself, only wealthy families can afford to get to study at this institution. Our professors are all the best in the country, would they waste their precious time teaching scum like you? You should consider yourself lucky for even getting the chance to step foot into this building, leave now before I call security to send you out!"

Peter's attire looked worn and old, the admission officer had immediately sneered in his heart, for someone as low as him to have even applied for a scholarship at Grimland university was a laughable feat. Sure his grades were enough that he'd automatically passed the application, but how could they allow him to soil their university's reputation?

Though the admission officer couldn't have done anything about it since Peter had already been given the admission, the man was however overjoyed when Peter said his name.

'So this scum was the guy whose admission Joey Winters had come to buy out.'

The admission officer had first thought it was injustice for a student to buy out someone else's scholarship, but now seeing the guy, the admission officer was more than glad it had happened that way.

"Mr Miles, allow me to take the scholarship exam once more, since the admissions have not been closed yet, I can still manage to get another..."

"I already told you, we don't teach scum at this university. Now scram!"

Peter gritted his teeth.

"This is discrimination Mr Miles, I'm poor, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be given a chance to get a better life."

"If every poor rat was given a chance, then everyone in the world would be millionaires. If that were to happen, how do you think we the big people will get our respect. Rats like you exist to give us our status, it's just the basic rule of the world."

Peter clenched his fist tightly but he couldn't refute the words being said by the man.

The man took in Peter's hardened look and got irritated he immediately pressed a button and called in security.

"Send this piece of trash out of this university grounds, I don't want to see him step foot in here again!"

Peter tried to wriggle out of it but he couldn't fight against the burly men in black who picked him up dragging him out, he could hear the man's voice calling,

"And next time know the kind of people you let into this building, don't let trash like this come in here to soil our high reputation again!"

Peter's face hit the dirt on the floor outside the huge university building, sand and dirt sticking onto his face making him look even more dirty.

He got on his feet and dusted his body glaring at the tall university in front of him feeling dejected.

'I'm sorry Lisa, I've lost this chance to study and provide you with the best treatment.' Peter felt a prick in his heart thinking about his little sister who was crippled and currently in a wheelchair, she needed good surgery overseas otherwise she would forever lose her ability to walk.

Having lost their parents in a gruesome accident that left his sister crippled, Peter had been taking responsibility for their lives ever since.

Lisa, his sister, and his girlfriend Stacie were the only reasons he was working so hard, alas, another chance had been snatched away from him.

He sighed hopelessly, but just as he was about to turn around and leave a flashy red Bugatti Chiron drove towards the university entrance, however what shocked him was the young woman he sighted sitting in the passenger seat of the car, he immediately stopped in his tracks.

"Stacie?"

The driver was a handsome young man wearing the latest designer brands. The guy sighted Peter and smirked stopping the car, he got down from the car and approached Peter.

"Look who it is, the hopeless loser who punched me a week ago." Joey Winters walked over to Peter with a smug look on his face.

"What are you doing with my girlfriend in your car?" Peter asked feeling a strange premonition.

He'd met this guy a week ago trying to molest an innocent girl, Peter had saved the girl and punched the guy in the face, he knew the guy's face since he was always on the cover of magazines as the son of the wealthiest business man in the country, but Peter didn't care about his status, he couldn't just watch an innocent girl get taken advantage of.

'Mark my words loser, I'll get back at you for this.' the guy had sworn before leaving with a bleeding nose, and now he appeared with Peter's girlfriend in his car.

"Your girlfriend?" Joey laughed, "Or do you mean your ex girlfriend, Stacie is my girl now, I'll be having fun with her for a few weeks before I get bored, but that's no longer your business now." He uttered knowing Stacie who was in the car couldn't hear him.

"Stop talking rubbish, I'm sure you tricked her into getting in your car." Peter didn't wait for Joey to say another word, he walked over to the car and pulled open the door of the passenger seat.

"Get down from the car Stacie, that guy is trying to take advantage of you."

Stacie frowned stepping down from the car, "What right do you have to tell me to get down? Do you own a car like this? You don't even own a two wheeled bicycle!"

Peter was taken aback by Stacie's harsh tone, he was rendered speechless for a few seconds.

"Stacie..." Peter reached a hand forward but Stacie quickly stepped back as if he was something disgusting attempting to touch her.

"Get your filthy hands away from me!"

"Come here my love, don't let this loser taint you with his filth." Joey beckoned to Stacie who didn't hesitate to run into his arms.

Peter couldn't bear the sight, he'd only ever held Stacie's hand a few times, yet here she was running into another man's arms.

"Stacie, why are you with that guy? You're my girlfriend."

"Your girlfriend? Are you even worthy? What kind of life should I expect to have being with someone like you, you work three jobs at once but you can't even afford to get me the things I want, I've been with Joey for only a few days, but he has given me a lot. Look at this bracelet, it costs over a million dollars, and Joey didn't hesitate in buying it for me, this dress I'm wearing is a limited edition from the top fashion brands. And this car, Joey promised to buy me a brand new one as an engagement gift, can you even compare to him?" Stacie gloatingly flashed the bracelet and her expensive dress to Peter's face.

Though he had never given her luxury things like that, the things he'd done for her were more than money could buy.

Last year she'd suffered from kidney disease, she had desperately needed a kidney transplant. Peter hadn't hesitated in donating his kidney to her. Despite having been operated on, Peter still had to go back to work a few days later so he could earn enough to pay for her hospital bills.

In order for her not to compare herself to other girls and feel depressed, he worked day and night juggling three jobs in order to afford pretty little things to gift to her, he would spend the whole day without getting a bite to eat after working for hours managing to get only a few hours sleep, all to be able to provide for her.

And now she was saying he wasn't worthy of her.

"Don't look so disappointed Peter, I never planned to be with you forever, how could you expect a girl like me to be with a loser like you? Joey is my boyfriend now, so I'm breaking up with you."

Even if he had to take out his own heart to give to Stacie, he would have happily done it, he didn't expect that she could be quickly swayed by wealth now openly calling him a loser and breaking up with him.

A small crowd of students had gathered outside the university sensing the tension in the air, they wanted to witness the drama going on. Hearing Stacie's words, they all understood the situation.

"The girl is very pretty, but look at that guy. His clothes look like they were picked out of a trash can, did he really expect such a pretty girl to be his girlfriend?"

"It's good for losers to know their place, a girl like that clearly deserves a luxurious life, if she ends up with a lowly guy like that, she'll only live in mysery."

"A pauper trying to call a princess his girlfriend, he must be delusional."

All the mockery and ridicule traveled into Peter's ears, he stood rooted in his spot glaring at Joey who had on a smug smile as he embraced Stacie in his arms.

Despite Stacie's harsh words and what everyone was saying, Peter still didn't feel right watching Stacie fall into the hands of a playboy like Joey Winters.

"Stacie, that guy is only going to play with you? Haven't you heard about how he goes around playing with women? There was even news about him getting a girl pregnant."

"All those news are baseless rumors, Joey already explained everything to me, those news agencies are obviously trying to get some fame by ruining his name, and even though he had some girlfriends in the past, he no longer has anything to do with any other girl apart from me."

"Joey Winters is everyone's dream man, this loser is just trying to ruin his name."

"Even if Joey used to be a playboy, this begger can still not amount to him."

Joey showed a benevolent look towards Peter, "I heard you had a crippled sister. Since I'm a kind hearted guy, I'll ignore all your insults today, if you crawl on your knees and lick my shoes clean, I'll think about giving you a bit of money to pay for her surgery."

"See? Joey is such a nice guy, hurry and get on your knees Peter, don't let him change his mind, it's a very generous offer." Stacie chimed as if she was thinking on behalf of Peter.

"Young master Winters is indeed very kind to make such an offer to that loser."

"In his whole life, I'm sure he'll never get such a chance again. If he knows what's best for him he better start crawling right now."

Thinking about his innocent little sister, Peter gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

He was a nobody who couldn't even better his life, if he couldn't do anything to save his sister, then he was completely useless. Even if he had to throw away his own self respect, as long as he could ensure that his sister would get her surgery.

He was just about to go on his knees when he suddenly heard a buzzing sound in his head followed by a sharp *Ding!*

*Face-slapping tycoon system detecting the oppressed!*

A blank white screen appeared in front of Peter's vision, he was the only one seeing the screen.

Peter didn't know if he was seeing things or if there was really a screen before him along with a robotic voice in his head at the moment. The voice soon sounded in his head again,

*Welcome host Peter Crox to the face-slapping tycoon system. This system is an eternal binding system which would be bound to host forever. With the system, host can go from the oppressed to become the most powerful man in the world.*

*How to use system: Host will obtain various amounts once he completes quests issued by the system. Host is expected to spend extravagantly as befitting of a tycoon, host will be awarded points based on how much host can spend in a day, points can be used to purchase skills and better body condition.*

*First quest: Dump Stacie Williams and cut off ties with her forever without any lingering feelings.*

*Quest reward: $100,000,000,000.*
