Diana, hold on!!

Scott shouted her name as he rushed after her, trying to stop her from doing anything rash. But the moment Diana stepped out of the corridor and saw the person who had come looking for Scott, she stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening as the only word that came to her mind was, "You..."

Scott came out right behind her, surprise washing over his face when he saw who was standing there. Before he could even say a word, the girl rushed toward him and wrapped her arms tightly aro

Emris stood over Scott as he struggled to rise, her expression almost playful as she watched his body regenerate from the damage she had inflicted. Around them, Raya, Daniel, Mr. Zen, and Diana were still on the ground, each of them too exhausted and injured to stand properly. Elizabeth remained beside Evelyn's lifeless body, her hands wrapped around her sister's as tears continued to fall, while the distant sounds of battle shook the palace grounds.Emris glanced around at them before looking back at Scott. "Look at them. They're already finished, and you still think you can protect them?" She walked toward him and struck him across the face before he could react, sending him stumbling sideways. "And while you're busy trying to be a hero, Ricard and his family are probably tearing through your people outside. How long do you think Noctharis can hold them?"Scott wiped the blood from his mouth and forced himself upright. "I'll stop you first."Emris laughed. "You?"She grabbed him by

  • Plan B..2

The sound of explosions suddenly rolled across the palace grounds, followed by the distant cries of soldiers and the clash of weapons. Scott turned toward the noise, his eyes narrowing as another powerful impact shook the building. "What's happening outside?" he asked, looking at Diana and the others. Kol, Derek, and the remaining warriors had stayed outside to defend Noctharis, but everyone else had gathered around Scott after the barrier broke."Drakenhold has attacked," Diana answered, her expression tightening. "Their forces have already reached the island. Kol and Derek are leading our warriors against them."Scott's face changed immediately. "Drakenhold?"Raya nodded. "They're trying to take Noctharis while King Aurelius is in their hands."Scott clenched his fists. The thought of Ricard invading the kingdom while Aurelius was captured made the situation even worse. "Then we need to get outside.""Interesting," Emris said. Her voice cut through the conversation.Everyone turned

  • Plan B

Emris's hand struck Scott before he could react. The force of the blow sent him flying across the darkness, and he hit the ground hard enough to slide several meters before finally stopping. Scott coughed as he pushed himself up, but before he could even get his balance, Emris appeared above him and drove her foot into his chest. His body slammed into the ground again, and the air was forced from his lungs.Emris landed lightly and looked down at him with a smile. "You know, Scott, you could have avoided all of this."Scott struggled to breathe as he raised his head."You could have stayed in that little house, eaten your mother's cooking, annoyed your brother, married your childhood sweetheart, and lived a completely peaceful life." She tilted her head. "But no. Apparently, being happy for five minutes was too much to ask from you."Scott tried to stand.Emris kicked him back down."You really are difficult."Scott clenched his teeth and pushed himself up again, but Emris grabbed him

  • The Beast Army

At last the first wave of Drakenhold ships reached the shore of Noctharis, and hundreds of warriors immediately poured onto the beach with their weapons ready. The soldiers had expected an attack from the defenders as soon as their feet touched land, but the coast was strangely silent and for several seconds the only sounds were the waves breaking and the footsteps of the advancing army. Some of the commanders were getting jumpy over the silence, but the main force was already landing, so there was no point in hesitating any more. More ships continued approaching the shore, bringing thousands of soldiers with them, while the luxury ship carrying Ricard and his sons remained farther behind, waiting for the signal to advance. Then the water began to move.At first, it was only a small ripple near the ships, but within seconds, the sea started churning violently. Several large portals suddenly opened beneath the surface, their openings glowing as strange energy spread through the water.

  • The Invasion of Noctharis

Scott slowly turned toward Emris, his fists tightening at his sides as the last pieces of the illusion began falling into place. The house around him still looked exactly the same, his mother was still sitting nearby, and his younger brother was still there, but none of it felt the same anymore. The warmth that had once made him feel safe now felt like something holding him in place."Tell me what's happening outside," Scott demanded, his eyes fixed on Emris. "Why are you so determined to make me stay here?"Emris only looked at him calmly.Scott stepped closer. "You knew I would eventually remember. You knew White would try to reach me, so you trapped him. You created all of this because you want me to stay here. Why?""Because you don't need to leave," Emris replied.Scott shook his head. "That's not an answer.""It is." Emris's expression remained calm. "Look around you, Scott. You have everything you wanted."Scott glanced toward his mother, then his brother. His jaw tightened as

  • The Illusion Cracks 02

Scott's hand remained on the door as he stared at Prince Franky. The sight of him brought back memories Scott had spent years trying to forget, and his expression hardened almost immediately. Without saying anything, he began pushing the door shut, but Franky quickly placed his hand against it and stopped him."Wait, wait," Franky said with a surprisingly gentle smile. "Why are you trying to close the door on me? You were the one who invited me."Scott frowned. "I invited you?""Of course." Franky chuckled as though Scott had asked something ridiculous. "You told me to come over. Don't tell me you forgot already." He looked genuinely confused, and then his expression softened. "And about the other day at the field, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have treated you that way."Scott's hand slowly loosened from the door. He stared at Franky as if he had just heard something impossible. "What did you say?""I said I'm sorry."Scott's eyes narrowed. Franky had never apologized to him. Not once. In t
