At Ray’s order, the ten men surrounded Ethan while Ray dragged Becca to the side. Ethan looked at the men and he tried to determine how long it would take to beat them all. His current fighting skills could suffice and he became even more confident and then a smile crept on his face making the men livid.

“Why are you smiling? Are you happy about your upcoming death?” One of the men asked and Ethan’s smile turned wider. It was the same huge man who blocked him and he walked toward the huge guy.

“I will like to go against you first.” Ethan suggested and the huge guy laughed. He was looking down at Ethan who was just up to his bulgy chest. He then waved at the other men, telling them to step back.

“Alright.” The huge guy said.

“I will let everyone watch how I crush you with my bare hands.” He added while he cracked his knuckles.

Ethan took a step back to observe his opponent and seeing the bulging muscles on his arms and chest as well as the swelling and redness on his body, Ethan immediately knew the man’s weakness..

“Are those your muscles?” Ethan asked leisurely as the huge man fisted his hand, ready to throw a punch.

“What do you mean?” The huge man asked, stopping himself for a minute.

“You know, those muscles look like something you could get on a bed and filled with too much fluid. I bet you could burst with just a needle prick.” Ethan mocked as he had already seen that the huge guy's muscles weren't real but he used steroids.

“What?” The huge guy asked as a wave of anger overwhelmed him. His muscles were a sore spot for him and he didn't think twice before attacking blindly.

He threw a punch but Ethan was quick to dodge. He was on the defensive side and he did was dodge whatever attack the huge guy launched. All he wanted to do was to make his opponent so weak in the end. Those muscles were already a burden to him.

“You bastard! Come fight me!” The huge guy yelled as he was getting tired. He shook his head slightly and Ethan launched his attack unexpectedly. He fisted his hands and punched the guy in the huge guy in his legs, one at a time. Those punches were heavy and in the next second, the huge guy went down on his knees, holding his legs in pain.

“Smack!” A final punch landed on the guy’s head, sending blood flowing out of his mouth. There was a loud thud as the huge guy fell heavily to the ground. He was just like a pile of shit.

“What the fuck!” Ray who had been watching at one side let out in shock. Suddenly, Ethan looked at him with a devious look and he shivered. Looking at the huge guy on the floor, he knew he was going to be next.

“Get him! All of you! Get that bastard!” He ordered, panicked. It was shocking that Ethan was able to defeat that guy but Ray was sure that he couldn't overpower nine men.

Some of the men took out knives and some cracked their knuckles, ready to send Ethan to hell. They rushed at him and in just a few seconds, he landed two punches on one of them, sending him flying with his knife.

Ethan rushed to take the knife and without thinking twice, he threw it at one of the men approaching him. The knife got lodged in the leg with blood spewing out.

“Ahhh!!” There were loud screams as Ethan caught one of the men, and used him as a shield as another man threw his knife at Ethan. The knife pierced through the man’s chest and Ethan discarded him to the ground.

“You bastard! What have you done?” The man screamed, frightened by what had just happened.

“I didn't do anything, you harmed him yourself,” Ethan replied, with a smirk on his face. But the man couldn't let go of the thinking that Ethan used him, so he rushed forward with rage blinding him.

He reached for Ethan’s neck and just wanted to snap it but swiftly, Ethan dodged and smacked him behind his head with so much force. His speed was unmatched and he smiled proudly knowing the system he got was doing this for him.

The man fell to the floor with a loud thud and the other men stood back in shock at what just happened.

“Who else wants to go next?” Ethan asked, cracking his blood-stained knuckles. The men standing looked at their buddies either unmoving or writhing in pain on the floor and they were frightened. They realized they should have never underestimated Ethan. They didn’t want to end up dead, so let down their weapons and took to their heels.

“What the fuck! Get back here!” Ray yelled seeing how they ran away and he glanced at Ethan in fright. Ethan was already approaching him and he knew he could do nothing at this point.

He dragged Becca who was shivering in fear beside him, running toward the car parked on the other side of the road. He just needed to get into the car and he would be fine and then he would ask his father to get Ethan.

“Where do you think you are going?” Ethan’s voice resounded from behind just when Ray was about to open his car door.

“You…. Stay away from me, you bastard!” Ray yelled, pushing Becca toward Ethan, so he could get away. However, Ethan didn't let her body touch him as he moved to drag Ray from his far, sending him flying to the other side of the car.

As Ethan approached, Ray scrambled backward in fear and he felt as if he was really going to die. Ethan looked lethal at this point and without thinking twice, he kicked Ray in the gut.

“Please…” Ray let out as he coughed out blood. He never thought he would beg but he didn’t want to die.

“No mercy!” Ethan replied and was about to drag Ray up when the police siren sounds echoed in the air. Before long, police cars surrounded them.

  • Taking Their Women

“There is no way you wouldn't want to marry me, Ethan!” Erin screamed, piercing through the silence in the car. Her face was twisted like a knot and he had never seen her so terrifying. “What do you mean? I never promised to do that!” He snapped at her. “I have never vowed my undying loyalty to you, why should I do that now?”“Because I have sacrificed so much to be by your side. I neglected my family, neglected my job just to live as your woman and yet, you still don't see that as anything.” She continued to scream with tears streaming down her eyes. Ethan could only purse his lips, knowing a large part of her words were true. Her job complications arose just from her clashing with the higher powers that tried to bring her down and he was also entangled with it. However, he never told her to stay away from her family. In fact, he never even spoke about her family with her. Neglecting her family was everything she did on her own but Ethan wasn't going to say that out loud because s

Seeing Baron’s surrender, Ethan’s eyes dimmed in suspicion as he couldn't readily believe that this minister would easily relent. After all, he was proud and cocky. “Alright, start speaking.” He urged but before Baron could start, he spoke up again, “And if you dare lie to me, you are dead.”Baron frantically nodded, his eyes filled with too much fear to even lie and his first sentence shocked Ethan so well. “I wasn't the one who helped Genie out of prison.” Minister Baron began and Ethan quickly sat up in his seat, realizing it was about to get serious. “I only served as a connection between her and the other person. My only benefit was to come out of prison and become a minister again as a placeholder. This position isn't controlled by me, it’s for the benefit of that person.”Ethan was surprised at the outcome of things. No wonder Baron was a show-off. Empty people tend to make the loudest noise. “Who is this other person you are in contact with, huh? And what did Genie offer t

Even though Erin was visibly raging, Ethan sat down coolly staring at her with a blank gaze. He recalled how she had begged to be involved in the case, and yet, she let her emotions lead her. “You have ten seconds to leave, Erin. You are no longer involved in this.” He warned her. “Why?” She snapped, “First, you deceived me into thinking you wouldn't be coming and here you are. I brought you both here! If anyone should be taken out of this, it’s Mason, who stood up to leave abruptly. He ruined the whole thing before my family—”“I ordered him to do so…”“What?” She gasped. “You let your emotions rule over you, Erin. You are not fit for this.” Ethan waved his hand. “Leave before it’s too late.”However, it was obvious she wasn't ready to leave at all. Quickly, Ethan signaled Mason to get her out.“What will you do…hmmm…” Mason quickly covered her mouth, muffling her words. At the same time, he held her body together making her thrash, trying to get away from his grip but then, he wa

  • A Simple Note

One day later…Mason held Erin by the arm, walking her into the grand venue to greet her family for the night. He had a gift box in hand, looking very charming but then he had his eyes scanning the room. His glasses, which complemented his black tailored suit had tiny cameras on them, sending live feed of the event to Ethan. Mason gently scanned the hall but Minister Baron was nowhere to be seen. Though there were other government officials of his caliber in the event, no one seemed to be concerned about his absence. “Are you sure Baron is going to be here?” He asked Erin who clutched his hand rigidly. “Well, I don’t know.” She hissed. “We will have to find out.”Ever since Ethan switched up on her last minute, she had been gloomy. She thought she was going to show him off for once before the high society and her family but he was a step before her. Deep in her mind, she hoped Baron wouldn't even appear! Her grievance overshadowed her reasoning, her emotions rising to an all-time

Minister Baron had a lot of power on his side, one that definitely aided him in getting Genie out of prison. Fighting against such a man might be a lot of toll. Ethan had to strategize the perfect plan and not just go in rashly. But then he knew the minister would get news about Genie’s disappearance. Would it be soon and would he be able to trace it back to Ethan? As he got out of the car, he realized there was no way it could be traced back to him. After all, his men had done a clean job. He spotted Erin right outside the building looking very worried and he wanted to ignore her completely but then, as she quickly approached the car, he became concerned. “Ethan, Eva is not in the house.” She said, shocking him. “And why would you care?” He raised a brow, suspicion stirring in his mind. “Uhmmm…”

  • The Raging Old Man

Genie was immensely surprised that Ethan knew about Elvis Chris and the Minister. She had truly underestimated her biggest opponent. It was easy to conquer her husband but Ethan, it didn't seem so. But at the same time, she wondered how he got to know. Everything she did was securely under wraps and only a few people knew she was out of prison. “You want to know how I got out of prison, right?” She tilted her head to the side, her gaze scanning. Ethan pursed his lips, seeing the way she stared at him like a specimen under scrutiny. “You amaze me, Ethan.” She chuckled. “You were able to find out about the minister and Elvis, yet you couldn't find out about such a simple thing. Are your resources limited?” Ethan didn't react to her provocative words just like she wanted, instead, his smile was cool, one that made her swallow. “You know what?” He grinned, his eyes darkening sending warning bells in her head. “I don't need to know how you got out.” He slowly stood up to his feet, a
