Not only was Maya’s naked body standing before Daven, but she also had her hands wrapped around Gerald’s naked body. Added to that, they were joined at the hip which showed Gerald had penetrated her.

They looked at Daven, no atom of shock or surprise on their faces. They didn't even tear apart upon seeing him and even Maya looked away from him like nothing was happening.

“Do you like the show, Daven? Your mouth is refusing to close.” Gerald mocked and in that moment, he grabbed Maya’s ass and slammed her against his body multiple times.

Each time, Daven felt like his head was going to explode. He was finally regaining his senses from the shock when Gerald spoke up again.

“Maya is your girlfriend, right?” Gerald chuckled and he smacked her ass again with a proud grin. “I am just trying to help you here, Daven. You have a beautiful girl like Maya and you never touched her? Tch!”

“Who would have thought she would be a virgin? I watched her cry in pain while I penetrated her… do you see that blood?” He pointed at her thighs.

“I did that–”

Bang!

A punch flew across the bathroom, straight at Gerald however, Gerald was quick to dodge due to his quick reflexes making Daven’s fist ram into the wall and it cracked the restroom tiles a bit.

Never did he think he was that strong. He was just too overwhelmed with anger and pain to even control himself from punching Gerald or feeling pain.

“How dare you lay your filthy hands on Maya?” Daven snarled, tightening his fist again even though his knuckles were bruised. “You took advantage of her! You took her innocence!”

“Really?” Gerald chuckled, which slowly grew into a loud and mocking laugh. Seconds later, his laughter came to an abrupt end and he stared at Daven with wild, scornful eyes.

“How do I break it to you that your innocent girlfriend, came begging me to fuck her?” Gerald yelled. “She wanted me and even denied you. So, who was I to turn her down?”

“What?” Daven shook his head, in disbelief. “That’s a lie. Maya would never do that.” He was still trying to deceive himself from seeing the truth, after all, Maya was a gentle girl whom he fell in love with.

He turned his head in her direction as she wrapped a towel around her body.

“Tell me he is lying, Maya!” Daven grabbed her by the hand, shaking her body so she would look at him. His eyes were red, demanding answers. But when she finally looked at him, her eyes were filled with anger and disdain.

“Get away from me!” Maya spat at him, pushing Daven with so much force he didn't expect. His body slammed on the tiled walls of the restroom and he winced in pain.

“Maya…” He tried to stand upright, to get to her but she took a step back, like he was a plague.

“What are you doing here?” She asked, angrily and then continued, “Shouldn't you have been somewhere, running errands since that is all you ever do, huh?” Her gaze was mocking which flustered Daven.

“What? Do you know why I do all that? It’s all because of you and my family. I work so hard to get you all the things you like. And even a present for your birthday. Why do you detest my job now?” Daven was confused, feeling like all he ever believed was a lie.

He couldn't believe that while he worked his ass off, Maya fooled around with the one person who made his life hell.

Slowly, Maya stepped closer, “Everything you have ever done for me, is never enough. You don't have the class, money, or even looks to claim me all to yourself!”

“You got me a present? A necklace? Or a common fake jewelry? Tch…” She laughed. “Gerald got me a condo, just for giving myself to him. Do you know how much that cost? You will never be able to give me that even if you work ten times harder.”

“Just fucking admit that you are poor and you can never measure up!” She spat.

Hearing all this, made Daven shake in anger. He felt betrayed, lost, and broken.

“So, it was all about the money? You never loved me?” He asked, trying to fight the pain that gripped his chest. He swallowed, also feeling his eyes sting with tears.

“You know how much I love you, Maya. And this is how you repay me?”

“Love?” Maya cackled, the sound echoing in the restroom. “From the beginning, it was never love, Daven. It was just a bet, and you fell foolishly, giving me almost everything you earned.”

“But you fail to see how different we are. You are poor, and can never maintain my beauty no matter how hard you try. I could never give myself to you. Gerald has proved himself so well and you will forever be beneath him!”

“So, get away from here, Daven! Or do you want to continue watching us as we make love? You can stay if you want…” Maya snickered, turning to Gerald and loosening the towel. She was naked again and he grabbed her, putting her against the wall so they could continue their escapades.

On the other hand, Daven couldn't continue to watch them as anger was slowly taking over the pain he felt in his heart. He couldn't just let them insult him this way and get away with it.

Sharply, his eyes set on the back of Gerald’s neck and he balled his fist, ready to throw another punch.

He charged at Gerald, dangerously and he didn't care if the bastard dropped dead, he wanted his pound of flesh.

However, Maya spotted Daven charging toward them, “Gerald! Watch out!”

Swiftly, Gerald turned around in time and he caught Daven’s fist.

“Let me go! You bastard! I will kill you!” Daven snarled, trying to escape from Gerald’s grip but he was too weak compared to the football quarterback.

Not only was he weaker, he was shorter and less muscular than Gerald.

“You should learn to know your opponent…” Gerald mocked and swiftly, he threw Daven’s body out of the restroom.

His body landed on the hard floor with a loud thud and the sound of cracking bones rang out.

“You are no match for me, Daven. In everything, you will always fall behind…” Gerald went ahead to stomp on Daven’s back. He spotted a marker hanging from the inside of his backpack and he ordered Maya to bring it over.

“Know your place, loser!” He bent down and tore out Daven’s worn-out shirt from behind while pinning Daven down.

“Don’t worry, I will help you…” Gerald proceeded to write SORE LOSER on Daven’s back, and Daven felt every single stroke of the writing.

It reminded him that truly, he was a loser. He was slowly losing consciousness due to the pain in his body and he could only watch as Gerald and Maya dressed up and walked out, laughing out loud.

“You really own this place?” Elena had to ask, as she beheld the beautiful ambiance of the house. It was a very comfortable place for a student to stay in, but of course, she was going to question this reality. “Yes.” Daven nodded.“How?” She raised her brow. As far as she knew, she knew he wasn't a rich guy. Or did he lie to Ari all this time?Daven scratched his head and Ari looked away quickly because he had no answer either. But she continued to probe, “How did you get all this money to get a house and then a car? I know it’s not in my place to ask, but I will be living here for a while. I need to know if we are all safe.”“Yes.” Daven nodded, his eyes holding her gaze to reassure her. “I assure you, I do not engage in any form of fraud and I pay my taxes regularly. You don’t need to worry.”Elena pursed her lips, her eyes intently searching his. Daven was a reliable man, she knew that but she could never know what was in his heart. • A Harsh Slap To The Face

“Of course, I do. Don’t you want to become affiliated with me?” The old man asked, staring keenly at Daven. “I would love to.” Daven didn't dare say otherwise, but still, he wasn't about to throw his pride away. “However, I may have to decline your kind gesture. Thank you so much for holding me in such high esteem.”Old man West went calm and instead of being offended, he was very pleased and proud of how principled Daven was. He realized the young man was reliable and he was even more determined to keep their relationship longer. “I understand you.” Old Man West nodded. “However, if you need anything at all, in this country. Do not hesitate to reach out to me.”“I appreciate your kind gesture.” Daven broke into a genuine smile and bowed slightly. He felt the old man was really wise and the secret of his system ability would be kept a secret. Soon, he was led out of the mansion and as he stepped out, he saw an alert of $20 million! A smile broke out on his face seeing that the old

  • The New Grandson

“You must be out of your fucking mind, Daven!” Lady West cut in, her chest heaving. “How the hell did you even get in here?”“That’s enough, Maria.” the patriarch cautioned, however, she wasn't about to let go. “Father, you can’t be deceived by that boy!” She warned as she walked back to him. Her eyes stared at him pleadingly. “Deceived?” He chuckled. “Daven has proven himself before me. It’s you who is so blind to see his potential.”“How can you let someone who is clearly against your daughter into the house when you wouldn't even let your grandson in?” She yelled. Her eyes were red, and a sharp glint of displeasure flashed in them. The patriarch took a pause, his hands fisting beside him. “Do not mention that good-for-nothing to me anymore.” He pointed sharply at her, and alarm bells were already ringing in Lady West’s ears but she chose to ignore it. “You don’t get it, do you? Gerald is your grandson!” Lady West was distressed, and she had totally forgotten about the outsider

  • A Mystery He Had To Unravel

Daven followed the patriarch into the mansion and they walked into the study where the incident had happened. The blood was still all over, evidence of the injury the old man had sustained. However, the patriarch went past it and sat at his table, his legs crossed over. He stared at Daven with meaningful eyes, wondering where he had encountered the young man before.“You are injured. You should treat yourself.” He pointed at the first aid box which had been left lying around. Daven darted his eyes suspiciously from the box to the blood and then to the old man, wondering if he was not going to say anything. He was deliberately ignoring the obvious and Daven was going to keep it that way until the matter was tabled. He got to the first aid box and brought out a few things to treat himself as the old man watched keenly. “You and I know what happened, right?” The patriarch finally spoke up and Daven froze. However, he only pursed his lips and didn't say a word to the patriarch. “I wa

  • No Fear Of Death

Daven moved like a flash, catching the sharp end of the knife in his hand and it dug deeply into his palm, his blood dripping heavily. “You dare stand in our way!” The man who had appeared all of a sudden barked. He looked just like the muscular man from earlier and it was obvious they worked together. He dragged the knife right out of Daven’s hand and was about to stab him in the face once again when Daven pulled back. He had no patience left to fight this man and so, he ran into the room he had approached earlier, and as soon as he got in, he opened his mouth in shock. The servants from earlier who had attended to him were huddled up inside. Some had gotten injured and their blood spilled all over the room. “Shit!” Daven cursed as he realized this was a full-blown attack on the entire West mansion. An influential family such as this was attacked! In just a few minutes he arrived, they had all been besieged! “Save us!” They all cried, right on their knees with their hands clas

  • Did I Kill Someone?

Daven couldn't go down! Never!Even though this man was way stronger than him, he would do everything he could to defeat him. Before the punch could land on his face, he dodged to the side, catching the man off guard. The muscular man lost balance in that moment and staggered forward to the wall, while Daven quickly ran toward the door. As soon as he got in, he locked the door with a snap of his fingers. He let out a deep breath before slowly turning around to see that he was in a study room with a strong smell of blood. He jumped the moment he saw the patriarch’s body right on the floor with a bloody knife by his side. The old man clutched his stab wound, breathing heavily like he was about to take his last breath. “Shit!” Daven cursed and quickly rushed to him. On the other hand, the muscular man kept banging on the door. The door’s hinges shook like it was going to fall out in seconds. “Are you okay?” Daven asked the old man whose eyes had turned into slit, life slowly slippi
