Gasping for breath, Aldric said, “They didn't do anything at all and just watched. Is it the hierarchy between the wolves? W-What am I supposed to do? I just killed their leader. There is no way they are gonna submit to me. But is this even possible? That bitch Queen told me that they are curses, monsters that wreaked havoc on this world and the system is telling me to tame these deformed monsters?!"

Just then, the wolves started to move and walk towards him.

Fear gripped him once again. He was in no state to fight.

All his arms has been ripped off and his body. His neck was heavily bruised from the wolf's bite, and the pain surged with each movement.

“T-They are at least forty-five of them… how am I supposed to beat them? The pain in my body has lessened thanks to the pain resistance, but soon, my body will collapse, and I will die. I have lost too much blood, and my other arm is also now gone. My bones are exposed. I can't even move anymore."

Aldric woke up with the blinding light greeting him.

He turned his head and saw the sun slowly rising on what seemed to be the entrance of the cave.

He then realized that he didn't feel the spider's body anymore and that what he saw shocked him.

The sunlight that came from the cave entrance hit the spider's dead body, causing it to light up like a paper caught in a fire before it turned into ashes.

“This… the queen explained to me that monsters will die if there is sunlight. It was really a monster.” As he said this, his eyes widened as he remembered what happened last night. “W-What about the wolves—”

Aldric furrowed at the system's reply.

“Name?”

Aldric nodded and understood what the system said quickly.

‘So I should have named them first.’

“Then, where are they?”

“Shadows?” Aldric looks at his shadow, and indeed, it has become strange. It was moving even though he wasn't. “Well, then. When the night approaches again, I will name them.”

He slowly and weakly got up and leaned on the wall. His body was still aching, and blood continued to flow from his wounds.

His whole body was showered in his own blood, and his two arms were gone. Strangely, the pain in his hand has subsided a little.

The excruciating pain in his arms was gone too, thankfully.
