4. Beat Him A Little

CHAPTER FOUR

Upon seeing the gangsters in front of him, the taxi driver was terrified, he was cowering in fear. 

On ther hand, Killian stared at them with cold eyes.

One of the gangsters came forward, and kicked the car door while he shouted at the trembling driver. 

“You fool! Open the door! Don't you see us?” He yelled at the top of his voice. 

The Taxi Driver trembled the more as he felt like crying at that instance. With hesitation, he opened the car door. 

He cried vehemently, “Please, don't harm me! I don't have anything worthy you can take from me, please!” 

With an evil smirk on his face, the gangster threw him out of the car roughly. He seems a little annoyed. 

“What insolence!? What made you think we are here because of you?” He yelled, kicking him repeatedly at his tummy while the driver cried and begged for mercy. 

Killian sneered at the scene displaying in front of him. Quickly, he got down from the car.  

A man who had a cigarette in his mouth walked out from the midst of  gangsters.  

He was none other than Kendrick, Cecilia's younger brother. 

He walked closer to Killian, and smirked maliciously, "Where do you think you are going, Killian? Do you think you can escape from getting beaten? Unfortunately, you are going to receive the worst beating of your life.”

“I bet you will be leaving out of here in whole. It might be your last day on earth, who knows!” He laughed wickedly, puffing out smokes onot Killian's face. 

Killian didn't mover or say anything. He watched as the gangsters gather around him. 

Upon hearing this, the Taxi man was shivering to death, so he picked out his phone to call the police. 

Unfortunately for him, Kendrick had spotted him, and he muttered in a cold tone. 

“What are you trying to do, nincompoop? You really want to call the police? You really do have some nerves!”

He broke into a devilish smile, and threatened, “If you call the police, I will make sure you are also beaten to death”

The Taxi man cowered in fear. Quickly, he dropped the phone back into his pocket and watched the scene with a frightened heart. 

“Surround him, boys! He mustn't escape. Today must be his last day on earth!” 

Swiftly, Kendrick commanded his underlings. His men were up to eight, and instantly, they surrounded him, making sure he didn't escape from them. 

Some of them held up the baseball bats, while some with heavy metals. 

Seeing how expressionless Killian was, Kendrick’s face darkened instantly. There is no sign of fear and he didn't bother to say anything. 

He was enraged. 

“Beat him up! Crush his bones into pieces. He needs to suffer a great deal! I want the vultures to feed on his body this night." He ordered. 

Kendrick's men also looked aggressive also, no iota of fear was displayed in Killian's eyes, and couldn't help but have the urge to teach him some lessons. 

They roared and attacked him with their weapons. But surprisingly, none of Kendrick's men were able to touch him.

Perfectly, he dodged all the hits, and returned the favor back to them. He beat them mercilessly, he never spared any of the men as he crushed their bones. 

They were injured, and groaned in pain. Those who don't have a broken arm would have a broken leg. 

The Taxi man who was looking fearful some minutes ago was totally shocked at how skillful the man in front of him was. 

He had taken down the gangsters so easily. 

Kendrick was shocked. He never expected Killian to have beaten his men like this. He had beaten mercilessly like he was killing an ant. 

He knew Killian had practiced martial arts but he didn't know he was so good at fighting. 

He tried to say something but couldn't. Looking pissed, he ran towards his car. 

With a sly smile on his face, he took out a pistol and walked towards him. 

“How dare you beat my men like this?” He questioned furiously and pointed his gun at him. 

“I know you are good at fighting, I won't try to fight with you but..” He laughed mockingly, “You wouldn't be good at fighting with the gun. Can you dodge a bullet?” He demanded. 

Looking at the cold metal on Kendrick's hand, Killian still looked confident, and sneered in disdain.

“Are you threatening me with the gun? Kendrick, you should be wiser than this! You really think I will be afraid of the cold metal in your hand?” 

He continued, “You don't even bother to ask what your family has done to me but here you are, pointing a gun at me.” 

“What has my family done to you? You are nothing but a useless man that needs to be exiled from the family. My sister gave you everything, and all you could do is to be ungrateful! Killian, never forget you are a live-in son-in-law, and live off of my sister's wealth.” Kendrick's face darkened in rage while he held the gun firmly unto his hand. 

Killian didn't bother to say anything. He knew Kendrick was just acting based on his sister's orders. 

He walked closer to the taxi man, and muttered some words to him. 

“Let's go, man!”

Kendrick was furious at his demeanor, and roared, “Where do you think you are going, Killian? I’m seriously going pull the trigger!” He pointed the gun at him. 

Killian turned to him, and smirked, “You really intend to shoot me!” He was looking confident, he knew he could avoid the bullet. 

“Do you think I was joking before? I’m going to end your life right now!” With that being said, he cocked the gun, and tried to shoot. 

A loud noise suddenly came from nowhere, making Kendrick stop on his track. 

Tens of luxurious cars passed by. Kendrick's eyes were filled with envy, and desire. Those cars are really, really expensive. 

He really thought they were passing by, but the cars stopped. 

He looked perplexed and wondered who it might be. While looking keenly at the cars, a very beautiful and slender lady walked out of one of the luxurious cars. 

Not only that, many men dressed in black suits came out of the cars and followed behind her with heavy ammunition on their hands. 

Kendrick's eyes widened. He looked perplexed, and wondered who they might be. 

Seeing the beautiful lady walking towards him, Kendrick was shocked. Could it be that the beautiful lady is interested in him? He brightened up his face then dipped the gun into his pocket. 

But the case was different, the lady walked towards him, and demanded in a calm tone. 

“How dare you offend Mr Holland?” She turned to the men behind her, and ordered. “Teach him a lesson!”
