His eyes farrowed as his feet swayed around slowly to see who it was only for him to notice that it was Tina..

She is Evelyn's younger sister and memories of how she had maltreated him flushed through his mind making his face twist into a frown.

He could hear the sound of her heels, moving swiftly towards him as he drew a really deep breath trying as Hard as he could to control his rising anger as memories of what she did to him flushed into his mind.

"What is wrong with you? Or have you suddenly gone deaf or something?" She inquired with a frown hanging on her face and this time, he could no longer help but turn around to face her stupidity.

"And what is it that you want?" He inquired staring right into his eyes.

"Oh my, I can see that you are still trying to get over the divorce but what are you doing here? You want to steal a dress and present it to her to get her back." She laughed at him but he tried to keep cool.

"I came here for the same reason that you are here." His eyes flickered and she burst out into laughter.

But after a moment of trying to make him go away, it seemed as though none of her tricks was working out for her.

"Do you even realize that that dress that you are pointing at cost over two hundred thousand dollars and even if you are sold, it will not amount to that?" He inquired with a weird look hanging on her face.

"And how can you tell that?"

When the noise was getting way too much, the salesperson who was passing by could not help but pull over to them to see what was going on.

"What is going on here?" She inquired.

Turning over to Tina, her lips parted into a smile almost immediately and she clipped her hands.

"Do you want to get anything here and you are having troubles?" She Inquired as the frown hanging on her face broadened.

"Here is this scumbag here. I already told him that the application for cleaners is already over but he is just so adamant about the corrections she noted."

Her face formed into a smile as she turned over to Stephen and twisted her nose as though she was perceiving some odd smile.

But in the real sense, he had a fresh breath and was only trying to make him feel uncomfortable

"So you are the one with that really bad scent. Now tell me who sent you? Do you know that if you chase all the customers away I will not be able to work here anymore?" She stamped her feet on the floor, completely irritated by the simple simp that stood before her.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" He was shocked by the way that she treated a customer

"Deaf? I meant, get out if you are only here to cause trouble." She was pissed off now.

"Excuse you? Isn't this a mall? And I thought it's open for anyone that can afford it?" 

"And exactly what you said for those that can afford it." She replied.

At this point, a handful of people had already gathered to watch the event roll out gradually.

"Why is he so stubborn and woo go away?" He could hear whispers from every single corner of the mall as people passed by.

"And what makes you think that I cannot afford it? Do you know who I am?"

At the sound of the word, the sales lady burst out into laughter all of a sudden, trying as hard as she could not roll hard on the floor

"Are you for real right now? But anyways, isn't it quite obvious that you are nothing other than a bagger?"

"And if I am able to afford the clothes?" He inquired.

"Then I am going to call you daddy." She laughed hard again.

"I will have to bet my life savings on this," Tina added, still rocking hard With so much laughter that her hands clutched around her stomach.

"Isn't it such a pity?" He thought in his head.

His hands gestured towards the dress to put it on first and see if it was going to be the perfect fit for him just like the company's Policy that she shook her head.

"I'm afraid that is the most expensive dress. And if you want it, let's see you will have to display your wealth first." She added.

Stephen clenched his fist at the sarcasm until it made a cracking sound all of a sudden.

He brought out a card from his pocket and handed it over to the sales lady who stared at it for a while.

Is this something more like a Joke to you or something?" She shot the words at him.

"You even had the guts to fake a card here?" He thundered at her.

She could not tell which exact family owned the card but she knew that it was only a privileged few who could owe it.

"And how do you know that it's fake without checking it out?" Was the only word that he could spit out from his mouth already getting tired of the argument.

"If I find out that this is fake and you are only here to waste my time, I am going to make sure that you pay for it." She glared at him.

Her feet inches away towards the desk that was at the far entrance of the hall until she vanished out of sight.

A breath escaped from his nostrils as he tried to steady himself on the point that he had been standing for quite a while.

Now, the crowd of people that stood there had suddenly grown to a really large amount.

Tina who had started all of it in the first place turned slowly towards him.

"Why don't you just give up on this crazy quest already and stop deceiving everyone to think that you are not who you think you are?'

"I appreciate your concern but I think that pretty soon, you are going to need it more than I do so I will advise you to save that energy of yours." He added.

Soon, the sales lady came strolling back with the terminal in her hands and the card too..,

"You still have the chance to leave now." He urged but he completely ignored her.

She swiped the card through the terminal and it made a beeping sound.

"Transaction failed." It read.

Stephen was a little bit confused as he shot a really weird stare at him.

"What could be wrong with it?" The thoughts rang in his head not knowing what to do.

"I think that you should try that again." Stephen chimed in.

He was so confident that the problem was not with the card but it was with the machine instead not everyone shared the same opinion With him.

"I will have to ask again, What do you think of me, a fool?" 

"I think that you should try it again and let's see if the problem is actually from the machine." She emphasized the last words in the sentence.

The sales lady who admired Tina so much because of the way that she was dressed and the thought that she would be a worthy customer decided to give it another try.

She swiped the card through it again and this time, the results seemed to take what seemed to be like forever.

Stephen held his breath for a while, even though he was sure that it was certainly going to work on the second trial.

"Transaction failed." The machine beeped once again.
