                Chapter Five

    Gifting his Silver card to an armless man

      James could not remember if he had ever felt satisfied to this extent before in his entire life.

Although he has long finished his meal and had allowed it to digest a bit, he could still remember how delicious they felt on his taste bud.

They are definitely worth their money.

James has already made up his mind that he would come to dine in this restaurant again in the future, to eat his fill.

Once outside, James decided to stroll a bit, to let the meals he just had digest more.

Although it does not show outside, thanks to the clothes he wore, James knew that his stomach has bloated at this moment, and he might start feeling pain if he does not let it go down.

Just as James left the restaurant compound, he saw someone staring deeply at the restaurant.

It was an armless man.

James decided to pause and ask the man what he wants.

With how weak the man looks, James has already concluded what the man wants in his mind.

"sir please, buy meals for my daughter."

Just ask James was about to ask the man what he wanted, the person suddenly knelt heavily before James and said to him.

James became stunned as he watched the middle-aged man that could almost give birth to him kneeling before him.

It took a while before he was finally able to react.

"Please, don't kneel before me…" James rushed to the middle-aged man and tried to lift him up, but the man would not budge.

"Please sir, anything would do, it could be leftover food, I and my daughter are hungry!!"

James began to pity the man.

This is one of the disadvantages of living in an advanced city.

The cost of living is so expensive, and things get a little difficult for those that are not rich.

Because of the huge population, the work available could not serve everybody, and their pay is too little that could not take care of an entire family.

That is for people with their bodies intact, what of someone with liabilities, like this man?

How would they survive?

James looked down.

He saw a girl of four-five years whose lips has become completely dry.

This girl was busy peering innocently at James.

"It's okay, stand up, I will give you and your daughter a meal."

James sighed again and convinced the man.

The moment the man heard this, he became so excited that he began to thank James over and over again.

After a while, James started walking at the front while holding the Little girl's hand, the armless man followed behind.

They entered the restaurant.

"Hello, could I give someone my silver card,?"

Thankfully, the person James met was the one that attended to him earlier and given him the card, so things became easier.

Seeing who it was, the cashier hurriedly sat up straight and turned her attention fully towards James.

"Of cause sir, you can do it,"

"Great."

James passed the silver card to the little girl whose hand he has been holding.

"Keep this very well, you should bring it here every day to eat for free."

James instructed the girl gently.

The moment the girl heard the word eat, her sunken face instantly widen happily as she nodded repeatedly.

James turned his gaze toward the middle-aged man.

"You can wait here for me this time of tomorrow, I would come by."

The instant he finished that, he walked away.

He knew that if he did not do that, this middle-aged man might start thanking him again, and he knew he couldn't handle that.

Just as he reached outside, a ding tone sounded in his head.

[Host has given out a meal card worth 187,500. Host has received the return, do you want to open it?]

The voice that has turned ghost all along suddenly sounded, making James flinch unconsciously.

He is still not used to the sudden voice sounding in his head.

'Open.'

James replied in his head.

[Host has received a platinum meal card to eat for free forever In all the stomach Empire in this world..]

Seeing what he got, James suddenly felt speechless.

Although he does not know what the platinum meal card is, he knew it could only be something like his previous silver card.

Taking it off his mind, he flagged a taxi and returned to the uni.

The moment he alighted the taxi, James began to feel so much attention turned towards him.

Many people began to point at him while saying things he couldn't hear.

But judging by their expressions, James realized that whatever was being said are definitely not something good.

'When did I become so popular?' He thought in confusion as he saw the pointed fingers given to him.

"Third brother!!!"

James suddenly heard loud exclamations, and three people rushed toward him.

The moment they reached James, they began to check him all over, from head to toe, concern written all over their faces.

The confusion James was feeling now has already reached a new peak.

If his schoolmates were all acting strange, what of his friends?

"Hohoho… look who we've got here, isn't this the guy that became crazy after being dumped by his girlfriend!"

A rude voice suddenly came from behind, making everybody turn to look back.

He is one of the bullies in the male hostel.

He always loves to bully and threaten the weak while kissing up the asses of the strong.

"What… what are you doing here," The first brother in James' room questioned angrily when he saw this person.

Then James three roommates instantly surrounded James as if they are guarding him against someone frightening.

"Let's go, third brother, let's go to our room."

"That's true third brother, let's not listen to this talkative."

James began to feel that something seems amiss.

He decided to understand what was going on, so he stood his ground.

The place has become crowded at this moment with everybody in the male hostel.

They were standing some distance away while giving James different glances filled with many emotions.

"Hahaha, saw how you became crazy due to being dumped by your girlfriend."

The bully who was watching everything unfolded happily finally said his mind.

Everybody waited patiently to see how James would react, everybody but James' brothers who were feeling mad at this moment.

Unfortunately for the crowd, they did not see any of the emotions they'd been waiting for, instead, the intensity of confusion on James' face has completely risen at this moment.

"Why is he acting like he does not understand what's going on?"

Someone questioned.

"Hahaha, are you trying to cover up the embarrassment you've given yourself?"

The bully busted out laughing as if he finally understood what was going on, then he removed a tablet from his pants pocket and clicked it, then he turned the screen towards James.

The moment James saw what was being played, he became stunned.

'Wasn't that when I was thanking the system?'
