The Lord's Mansion.
The helicopter landed gently on the large compound of the Lord's prominent mansion. The compound was lined up with hundreds of men dressed in a red and black outfit, they were the Lord's men. Very powerful martial artists that were feared all over the world, a single Lord's man could take down ten average men, they were only sent for important missions.
The door of the helicopter was open and Davin was carried out with carefulness and rushed inside the mansion.
Davin was placed on a royal bed, James had already arranged an ancient healer to fasten up the treatment.
The healer stretched his hands on Davin's wound, he closed his eyes making some silent incarnations. Suddenly an emerald light appeared from his palms, and then with an instant Davin's wound was sealed like it was never there in the first place. But he was still unconscious.
"How long will he take to recover?" James asked.
"It shouldn't be more than 24 hours, I'm surprised he was still alive despite losing so much blood. He's indeed a powerful descendant of the Lords." The healer complimented.
"Indeed he is." James confirmed.
"Alright, you just need to let him rest, he will be back very soon." The healer said with a slight bow before exiting.
Davin was the first child and heir to the great Lord's empire. Ever since he was five years old he had always been a great martial artist, he was named Darius at birth, and by fifteen years old he became the youngest Lord in history. Despite Lord being the name of their empire, not even the royal bloodline could refer to themselves as Lord. Lord was a title given to someone who had mastered all martial arts and had become a master on controlling their chi. Lord Darius was the pride of the Lord's empire, he was the beacon of the new generation of his family. He conquered many empires and destroyed all their enemies, he was an overpowered foe that had never lost a battle. The Lords weren't only known as the family of the greatest martial artists but also for their great wealth owing vast multinational corporations around the globe.
Lord Darius defeated all his enemies, he became the youngest general among the Lord's men. Life became boring for Darius, he was tired of the killing and conquest. He then decided to start a new life, that was when he moved away from his city to Sunset City, where he met the Windsors. He disguised himself as a poor man and renamed himself Davin, marrying Maya and becoming a live-in son-in-law.
Suddenly Davin coughed loudly. "Lord Darius" James hurried to check on him.
Darius coughed again, this time thick blood fluid gushed out from his mouth and he jolted back to reality.
"Where am I?" He asked, trying to make sense of the environment.
"Lord Darius. You're back to your empire." James replied with a slight bow.
Darius then stood up from the bed, his shirt was stained with the blood he threw out from his mouth.
"James?" He asked to be sure.
"Yes Lord Darius." James bowed his head low.
Darius then recalled his memory and remembered how he got here, from his clash with Derek, when he thought he died.
He then remembered James telling him something about his father.
"Father... where's father?" He asked suddenly.
"The Emperor is gone, Lord Darius." James started trying to beat back his tears.
"What'd you mean gone?" Darius asked.
"We were ambushed." James said his head bowed.
"Ambushed? That's impossible." Darius said, the Lords were feared by all, they were so ruthless that no one would even think of being their enemies. And even if they did attack, there were over hundreds to a thousand Lords men to defend the emperor. And his brother Micheal was also a formidable Lord, he could single handedly take down an entire legion. Nothing was making any sense.
"Lord Darius. We weren't expecting any intruders, the empire has been peaceful after you eliminated all our enemies. We totally let our guards down and the barbarous warriors attacked at night time. We tried fighting back but they were using some kind mystical ability to fight against us. Magic." James explained.
He was right, after Davin defeated all the enemies of the Lords empire they felt they had nothing to worry about. They even stopped training, and it led them to their doom. They lost their emperor and Lord Michael was taken away, James explained everything that happened in detail and Darius paid attention waiting just to hear one thing.
"And what about my mother?" He asked with a hoarse voice.
"The empress was also taken away." James said, Davin clenched his fist. "How could you let this happen!" He then punched James at the chest as it sent him crashing on the wall creating a big hole in it. Davin's eyes were glowing gold, this only happens when he entered his warrior mode, a powerful state of a Royal Lord, it is said to be their most powerful state.
James held his chest as he bled out. "I'm sorry Lord Darius, we were attacked unexpectedly, but I assure you, your mother and brother are still alive." He said calming Davin's temper down.
Davin could let anything happen but definitely not let anything happen to his beloved mother. He could destroy the whole world just for her.
"We tried fighting back, but we were powerless against their formidable magic." James continued.
"The Masters!" Davin said.
"What?" James asked.
"They are the only ones capable of using magical weapons. They dared to attack my empire, killed my father and captured my mother and brother. I will destroy their world." Davin gritted his teeth, his fist clenched tightly that all his veins were shot out.
Davin then walked out of the room, he walked up to the highest point of the mansion and came out of the opening space built there. He stared from high above staring down at his empire, James was beside him.
"All hail Lord Darius!" James announced and everyone hailed in unison.
"Hail Lord Darius!"
"Hail hail!" Everyone hailed Darius. Their lost heir had returned, and he shall replace his father as the new emperor.
However Davin's mind went back to his experience with his in-laws and what Derek did to him, he wasn't going to let them go away with this, he was going to teach them a lesson. The weak and poor man they thought he was would shock them now, he was way more richer and powerful than they would ever imagine.

I know you’re not happy about my wedding plans, but can we not turn this into a competition? This is about Mom.”“Right. Let’s just focus on her,” Davin said, frustration boiling beneath the surface. “But don’t pretend that you aren’t looking for attention.”“Seriously, Davin?” Maya shot back, her voice sharp. “You think I’m here for a show? I’m worried about her too, you know.”“You have a funny way of showing it,” he replied, crossing his arms.“Enough,” Helen

What’s going on?”“They didn’t give me all the details, just that she needs immediate treatment,” Helen replied, her eyes brimming with concern. “They’re arranging a private jet to get her to the mainland for the best care.”“Why didn’t they call me?” he asked, rising from the table, the papers scattering as he stood.“I think t
