Chapter 04 – Hit by Explosion

After preparing his weapon, without hesitation, Nouel came out from the hiding place, then opened fire which was different from before. The one shot he fired sent one of the enemies who was a cyborg thrown, had a seizure from being hit by an electric current, then stopped moving, the cyborg's body was smoking.

“What is ....?” Vera who saw that, she was surprised she didn't expect.

“As expected, my weapon will be effective.” Nouel smiled contentedly. Nouel continued, activating an energy shield that protected his body from the successive shots from the cyborgs shooting at him, he continued one or two shots that were so accurate, every cyborg that was hit by a direct shot was thrown several meters as if hit by a shot shotguns, they twitched for a moment as an electric shock surged through their bodies. When his shield is deactivated, Nouel moves fast, dodging every enemy shot that is fired at him. He kept running and jumping, making use of his war and fighting skills to avoid the opponent's attacks. In a short time, he had managed to get close to many enemies because he was in range, he released a kick at one enemy, then switched to the second enemy, he ducked to avoid shots and then fired back in a kneeling position.

Nouel runs towards the enemy. Vera was surprised to see that action, but she immediately understood when she saw Nouel take out a small device from his trouser pocket. Nouel throws the device towards his enemy, a second after it is thrown, it immediately explodes.

The small explosion was enough to destroy the rebels, and Nouel immediately attacked them with punches and kicks. The cyborgs took the blast attack, convulsing before ending up motionless.

Finished with the enemy within range, Nouel dashed towards the rebel troops who were still attacking, he moved to avoid every shot fired by the enemy, he used his shield to block when there were some bullets that couldn't be avoided. The shots they released damaged the area around Nouel, along with hitting the shield right in front of his body.

In a short time, he had managed to get close to some rebels and hit them head on. He threw a few more punches, attacking and dodging with his speed. He managed to avoid several shots by throwing himself sideways or swinging his body.

Until, suddenly, the enemy fired an even stronger shot, the shot which resulted in a big explosion made Nouel immediately thrown many meters and ended up rolling several times.

“Nice strike, but I don't....” Nouel didn't have time to finish his sentence, he immediately jumped to the side when many enemies attacked him directly, he got up and immediately dodged to the left.

Suddenly, a blue light shot towards Nouel, when it hit hard, there was an explosion that knocked Nouel into a wall, because of the intensity of the explosion, the wall broke down, making Nouel pass through another room and then fall to the lower floor after crossing the guardrail.

“Tch, that's new.” Nouel muttered under his breath, his shooting weapon already released when his body was thrown.

He hastily dodged to the side when three cyborgs came into the room, jumping to smash into the man's body.

“Captain, are you all right?” asked Vera through the communication device.

“Yes.”

“Need help?” asked Blaicer.

“No, you take care of it there, will finish here,” said Nouel, refusing the offer of help.

“Okay.”

“Copy that.”

When Nouel stood up, he received a punch swing from one of the enemies. In slow motion, the cyborg that was targeting it used great force as it swung its arm. Nouel was hit by a heavy punch that sent him flying backwards, both of his feet leaving marks on the floor.

“Cyborgs really can't be underestimated.” he muttered under his breath, another cyborg jumped to kick him, this time Nouel parried with both hands, then turned around while catching the cyborg's legs, then he slammed the body on the floor very hard.

The cyborg body that was slammed into the floor resulted in damage to the floor. Nouel himself slender jumped high forward towards the cyborg, who had also jumped towards him. The two men clashed fists in the air, producing a loud crashing sound.

When the two of them landed, they exchanged punches with fast movements, several fist fights and kicks between the two seemed balanced, until Nouel managed to kick the cyborg's chest until it was thrown far enough away, he immediately turned around to face another cyborg which was already swinging strong punch, luckily this time Nouel was able to dodge it. He unleashed a punch that immediately hit the cyborg's head to the floor so hard that blood spurted out as the floor and the cyborg man's head shattered.

From the hole where he appeared up there, many cyborgs came and fired shots at him successively.

“Tch, they're starting to be troublesome,” muttered Nouel feeling displeased, he immediately tried to run to avoid every shot that was aimed at him.

The four cyborgs immediately landed on the floor, then they immediately jumped and rushed forward to attack, Evan caught the hand of one of the cyborgs that was about to shoot him, the weapon fired successively as Nouel aimed upwards, then he spun his body around, throwing the cyborgs at him forward, then turned around to block another cyborg punch, he dodged the next punch, then performed a body twisting maneuver while releasing a kick towards the man's chest.

Two other cyborgs took out large and long guns, both on Nouel's left and right, they immediately aimed their guns at the man.

Before the attack could hit him, Nouel immediately took out two blue glowing plasma swords that were on his back armor, he parried every shot that was directed at him.

“This is quite exciting, then let's start to the next round.” Nouel grinned, several more shots were fired by the two cyborgs at almost the same time, amazingly, Nouel immediately parried the shots in both directions.

With mastered sword skills, Nouel can even slash a bullet until it bounces and then hits the hand of one of the cyborgs who shoots, when only one more cyborg continues to shoot at him, Nouel then runs towards the cyborg who shot him.

Nouel managed to get close, when he was within the attack radius, he slashed the weapon aimed at him, then stabbed the cyborg's chest until his sword went through the back, just as he drew his sword, he was immediately hit by the same shot where his body experienced a direct blue explosion propelling him far enough.Nouel hit the wall again, but this time only cracked the wall.

“I'm starting to not like the new weapon.” Nouel commented sarcastically, he immediately moved to the side, avoiding the stab of another cyborg who had a sword in his hand, with swift movements, both of them immediately clashed with slashes, fighting against each other.

Nouel suffered a loss because there were two other cyborgs who also carried out the attack, the two cyborgs fired successive shots at him. His two hands kept swinging the sword to parry every slash that was released by the cyborg man.

As another cyborg attacked, Nouel dodged backwards, then slashed at the cyborg's neck before then he thrust the sword in his left hand into the cyborg, he aimed the stabbed cyborg's body towards the back as successive shots were fired, then the hand his right parried another slash that the sword-wielding cyborg did. He threw the cyborg's stabbed body towards the shooting cyborg, then when both swords were used, he quickly slashed the cyborg's right hand with the sword, then decapitated the cyborg with the other sword.

“One last.” Nouel muttered while turning towards the armed cyborg, before the cyborg fired its weapon again, Nouel moved first, he threw one of the plasma swords at the cyborg.
