005: Mutated Purple Boar

After entering the Makiling Forest, I started to go deeper and deeper until I arrived at the place where a higher-level monster than Green Leaf Boar could be seen.

I ventured to the second phase of the forest and found an intimidating leaf boar. "A leaf boar?" I walked closer to it in order to check whether it was the Green Leaf boar. "W-Wait, isn't it blue ones?"

[MONSTER NAME: BLUE LEAF BOAR] [LEVEL: 04]

[LOCATION: MAKILING FOREST, SECOND PHASE]

[DESCRIPTION: Blue Leaf Boar, a monster higher level than Green Leaf Boar. They lurked upon the second phase of the Makiling Forest.]

A blue leaf boar differed from a green leaf boar by strength and speed. Green Leaf Boar do have higher strength but doesn't much agility whilst this blue one has strength comparable to green ones but has higher agility.

The Blue leaf Boar started to move, scratching the ground with its indestructible feet.

I readied myself from its attack by using the same method I used when I was just a player of New Life. 

Before I entered the Makiling Forest, I took a certain amount of sand from the neighbors and put it in my inventory to use for this sole moment.

Just as it was about to scratch the ground, I took the sands from my inventory and threw them at exactly its both naked eyes that resulted in him not being able to see sight of me.

The boar charged at me with its ravaging body, but it only struck the tree with its head since it was moving faster than the average boar, which gave it more velocity and caused the tree to fall. Due to its impenetrable physique, the boar didn't sustain much damage from the hit and was already commencing its second move.

But, "Where'd you looking to? I'm here!" I started to make my move and abruptly took my beginner's knife from my inventory, I rushed toward the boar and jump at exactly it's wide back and struck him in his neck.

[EXP GAINED: 150 POINTS]

"That's hunting freak for you" I mumbled.

Well, it's thanks to my tricks of using sand to blind its sight that I am able to defeat it much easier, if not, I would've been battling it much longer.

I ventured deeper into the forest once again and was just about to attack another blue leaf boar but I heard a sudden loud voice from a distance asking for help. 

Though It was not my concern I followed the voice to see what happened because of my curiosity.

"Hm, a strong smell of blood." The stench of blood pervades the air whilst I readied myself for any possibilities of danger while getting closer to the location where I heard the voice.

I got closer and closer until the voice dissipated while I could feel a heavy pressure from the air. 

"T-This was bloodlust!" I mumbled.

"Mister, behind you!" 

Just as I was about to turn around, I already suffered a grave internal wound and was pushed back from afar. My sight becomes blurry and it's just a miracle that I took a clear sight of what attacked me. "So it was a Mutated Boar huh?" I mumbled.

[MONSTER NAME: MUTATED PURPLE BOAR] [LEVEL: 10]

[LOCATION: MAKILING FOREST, PHASE TWO & THREE]

[DESCRIPTION: A purple boar that was mutated from time to time. Mutated Purple Boar was known by its indestructible body, higher speed, and destructive strength. It was also known for having a territorial trait in which he will attack whoever set foot in his territorial domain.]

"Wait, not this time!" I started to move my body and endlessly slap my face to forcefully wake myself up. "Good, I woke up!" Just after I regain my control in my body, the mutated boar already on the verge of striking me. I turn around and ran as fast as I could. 

"Mister, it's coming! you can't defeat that monster in your current state!" 

"I can't defeat a mutated boar in this state" Is what she thought. 

[EARLIER THAT TIME]

But, "Where'd you looking to? I'm here!" I started to make my move and abruptly took my beginner's knife from my inventory, I rushed toward the boar and jump at exactly it's wide back and struck him in his neck.

"I already leveled up to five huh? Then, isn't it time to use that?" I mumbled, laughing inwardly.

"Mister, it's coming! you can't defeat that monster in your current state!" 

"I can't defeat a mutated boar in this state" Is what she thought. I abruptly opened my inventory while running from the chasing mutated boar and took that certain knife in the second column of my inventory slot.

I stopped running and stood up in front of the chasing mutated boar.

"Mister, dodge!"

"Dodge? watch this~" I mumbled.

I jumped toward the ravaging mutated boar while raising the knife to gain momentum and just as I was about to enter its range, I swiftly struck him from its indestructible head. "Indestructible head my foot!" I mumbled.

[SYSTEM MESSAGE: Successfully killed Mutated Purple Boar.]

[EXP GAINED: 1500 POINTS]

"I-It's dead?" The girl who was wearing a black suit witnessed the entire event and subconsciously took a step back while showing a perplexed expression on her face.

"1500 EXP? Sweet~" I mumbled.

"M-Mister, did you just kill that monster with a single strike?" The unidentified girl who witnessed the entire event suddenly approached me while showing an excited expression on her face.

"Uhh? Her eyes were glittering?" I mumbled.

"M-Mister?"

"Hm-Ahh.. Yes?" 

"Did you just kill that with a single strike? How did you do that?" She asked.

"Well, I wonder~"
