At the Carl's residence.

Jacelyn was sleeping on a couch while some family members gathered around her.

Just then Francis, who had changed into his son-in-law's identity, returned home.

“Francis, where on earth have you been?” Clara questioned.

“I went in search of Jacelyn but couldn't find her.” Francis uttered.

“Of course, you won't find her. You are just useless.” Clara screamed.

“Let me go! Let me go!”

Jacelyn screamed as she jolted back to consciousness.

“You are home now,” Paul uttered calmly.

Slowly, Jacelyn opened her eyes. Her mother had given her some medication to relieve her of stress.

“What happened? I remembered Justin closed my nose with a towel which made me pass out. How did I escape his evil plan?” Jacelyn spoke softly.

Raymond went on to tell her everything that happened at the ceremony and who brought her home.

“What do you mean by the couple, Grandma Kimberly and Justin are dead?” Jacelyn asked, managing to sit up.

“He is right. The Crimson Dragon saved you. How did you know the Crimson Dragon?” Clara spoke.

“I don't know who the Crimson Dragon is. I have heard of this title in the military news but I have nothing to do with the person, believe me.” Jacelyn explained.

While the Carls were wondering how the Crimson Dragon knew Jacelyn, her mother was trying find out who was the best, between the new boss and the Crimson Dragon.

After a few minutes, Jacelyn requested Francis to take her to the bedroom and he did.

Scrolling through his phone, he saw the video of the incident but no one could tell who was the man wearing the mask.

Francis returned to the kitchen to prepare lunch.

Then he took the trash out. Making use of the opportunity, he called Williams Mathias.

“You don't have to be scared or investigate what happened at Elite Event centre earlier, I am behind it.”

“Huh?!” Williams was shocked to hear that.

“Yeah, they were been punished for their sins.”

“Wait,” Williams paused as though he had remembered something. “Are you the Crimson Dragon?”

Francis giggled and ended the call.

Two hours later.

Francis left the house without informing anyone.

Jacelyn had regained more strength and she was still in shock about Justin's death.

“Don't shoot.”

Clara screamed and bowed when she saw armed soldiers barging into their house.

Her scream drew the attention of all those at home, causing them to rush to the sitting room.

“Raise your hands above your head and move.” One of the men ordered them and they obeyed.

It wasn't only those in Paul's residence that were arrested, it included those that were in the mansion.

They took the Carls to a basement and ensured their hands were tied behind their backs. They met a man seated, his leg crossed over the other as he smoked cigarette.

“Are these all the people that make up Carl's family?” Sly questioned.

One of his soldiers replied, “Only the live-in-son-in-law is absent.”

“That one is useless to me.” Sly mocked.

“Please sir, what is our offence?” Grandpa Carl managed to ask.

Sly laughed hysterically, “They didn't tell you your offence?” He pointed to his soldiers.

With a frown, Sly added. “You all are responsible for the death of my loved ones. You murdered four people that are dear to me on the same day.”

“It can't be us sir, we can't hurt a fly not to talk of a human being. Please, we are innocent. Justin Kimberly was my very good friend.” Raymond spoke agitatedly.

“Jacelyn knows better, let her explain.” Sly looked at Jacelyn, his expression more darkened.

Jacelyn was confused, she didn't kill anyone. The last she remembered was that she passed out.

“Why are you quiet?” Sly yelled.

“I-I didn't murder anyone. Please, I am speaking the truth.” Jacelyn muttered.

“The truth?” Sly stood up and slapped Jacelyn hard, making blood squirt out of her mouth.

He held her jaw and said, “The Crimson Dragon saved you from Justin, right? Who are you to the Crimson Dragon? Where can I find the Crimson Dragon?”

Sly was a soldier, however on the day of the induction ceremony, Francis was absent so the superiors didn't mention anything about the Crimson Dragon title.

Sly thought Crimson Dragon was someone he could kill easily.

Jacelyn didn't have the answers to his questions. Within the twinkle of an eye, he slapped her again and she fell to the floor.

Jacelyn was crying profusely and there was no one who could save her.

“Please! I don't know the Crimson Dragon.” Jacelyn cried.

“You don't know him yet the video is everywhere online that the Crimson Dragon killed Justin because of you? Say the truth or I will chop off the head of your family.”

“Please don't kill us.”

“Let Jacelyn bear the consequences alone.”

“We have never seen or heard of the Crimson Dragon till today.”

“Jacelyn spill the truth. I am not ready to die now.”

The Carls lambasted Jacelyn and tried to exempt themselves.

At this point, Jacelyn felt dejected and helpless.

“I'm saying the truth. If that be the case, kill me so I can have peace.” Jacelyn whispered.

“You will be tortured till you say the truth before I kill you.” Sly sneered.

“Please, I didn't kill anyone.” Jacelyn pleaded.

“Call your husband and tell him to prepare your graves. By nightfall, you all will be six feet below the ground.” Sly ordered. “Untie Jacelyn's hand.

The Carls exchanged glances.

Weakly, Jacelyn placed a call and placed it on speaker.

“Francis, we are in trouble. Please prepare our graves so you can bury us by nightfall.”

“What?! Where are you?” Francis worried voice came from the other end.

Sly laughed, “They are in my custody. I am Sly Kimberly and no one can save them.”

Jacelyn hung up.

Francis who was at the Crimson Villa chatting with Henry flared up.

He told Henry about the phone conversation.

Henry had the knowledge of tracking devices. Using that skills, he was able to track Jacelyn's phone and found their location.

Back at the basement.

“Jacelyn, a friend of my enemy is my enemy.” Sly uttered and walked round Jacelyn. “Show me his picture, give me his address. Reveal his identity to me!”

“Please, I don't know him. I am innocent.” Jacelyn uttered faintly.

“You are still lying?” Thompson said furiously. “Let her die alone, we are aware of the capabilities of Kimberly family. We won't dare to get on your bad sides. Jacelyn should pay for her sins alone.”

“Ahh!”

Jacelyn screamed as Sly yanked her hair.

Sly let go of her hair and clenched his fist. Rage burnt rapidly within him. Sternly he asked.

Why is the Crimson Dragon after my family?”

“Because you and your family have sinned!”

Francis' deep, cold and evil voice was clearly heard as he entered the basement.
