Chapter 16

Inside a room at Elite Event centre.

Justin came out of the rest room, holding a towel which he had soaked in a cleaning agent.

“Let me go, I don't want to have anything to do with you?” Jacelyn said with a shaky voice.

Justin giggled, “Are you sure about that? I want to make you feel like a woman. Your brother told me you and your husband haven't done the needful as husband and wife. You should be grateful to me.”

“Somebody help!” Jacelyn screamed at the top of her voice but no one could hear her because the room was soundproof.

“Not even your husband can save you from me. Keeping wasting your time.” Justin uttered.

He forcefully covered Jacelyn mouth with the towel, the choking smell made her dizzy; then she fainted.

“You'll remain here and when I am done with your husband, I'll enjoy you to the fullest.” Justin uttered as he pulled her dress off, exposing just her undies.

He went on to tie her hands to the bed.

All this while, Justin didn't know about the death of his loved ones. He was eager to satisfy his lustful desires.

Francis had arrived at Elite Event centre wearing a mask and went quickly to the ICT room.

He introduced himself as the new boss and seeing him with a small dagger, the man that was on duty fearfully obeyed Francis’ instructions.

Paying close attention to the CCTV footage, Francis saw Justin pulling Jacelyn to a room.

The coverage of the CCTV didn't reach to expose what was happening in the room.

Francis looked at the man.

“Do you know that man?”

The man fidgeted, “Y-Yes he is Justin Kimberly.”

“Do you have his mobile number?” Francis asked with a deep tone.

“Yes!”

“Dial his number, I want to speak to him.” Francis sneered.

The man placed the call and Justin picked.

“Calling from the ICT unit, we noticed you didn't park your car well, can you come out to adjust it?” Francis spoke ensuring he changed his voice.

“Why now?” Justin's complained. “I'll be out in a minute.”

Francis returned to the entrance.

Soon, Justin was also out.

“My car is well parked.” He hissed. Turning around he saw a figure whose face was covered, only his eyes were exposed.

“Who are you?” Justin queried fearfully.

“It's Francis Gad, Jacelyn's husband.”

“That can't be.” Justin said with a shaky voice. “Remove your mask so I can believe you.”

Justin doubted. The last time he met Francis, he didn't have such dominating aura which filled the air.

“How dare you?” Francis roared.

The people around were scared and looked for a place to hide, ensuring they covered everything that happened with their phones.

Francis had warned him before but he didn't take heed.

He wasn't going to spare him!

“You want my wife, right?”

Justin couldn't utter a word, he took steps backwards as Francis approached him.

“Don't kill me.” Justin pleaded when he saw Francis pulling out a small dagger.

Whizz!

Francis threw the dagger. Moving swiftly, it landed on Justin's chest.

The Crimson Dragon never misses his target!

Francis approached him, pulled the dagger out, thereby making Justin fall flat to the ground.

He pulled a piece of paper from his pocket, cleaned the blood stain on the dagger and placed the paper inside Justin's pocket.

The note on the paper was [The boy you conspired against has returned. You killed my parents by poison, you will also die by poison. No escape!]

“Isn't that a member of the Kimberly family?”

“They lost some of their loved ones earlier! Now this?”

“They must be battling with a stronger force.”

Some of the onlookers said.

Holding his dagger, Francis walked away, leaving Justin lifeless on the road.

He located the room he had seen in the footage and he met the door slightly opened. Seeing, Jacelyn half dressed, weak and motionless, he felt like destroying the Kimberlys' completely. He picked her clothes that were on the floor and dressed her up.

Francis carried Jacelyn and walked out of Elite Event centre.

Outside, he called Henry.

Henry arrived in a tinted vehicle without a number plate.

Francis placed Jacelyn on the back seat and went to sit at the front.

Soon, journalists arrived at the scene. From questioning some people present, they got to know that inside the car moving in the opposite direction was their main focus.

The journalist went after the car.

Eventually, Henry's vehicle came to a halt at the Carls residence

The journalist also came down from their vehicles to record the scene.

The blaring horn of the car drew the Carls attention and they all came out.

Looking at the numerous people at their gate and the masked man standing before them, the Carls were confused.

Slowly, Francis opened the door, carried Jacelyn and handed her to Paul.

“What happened to Jacelyn?”

“Who did this to her?”

“Jacelyn!!!”

The Carls expressed themselves.

The journalist quickly ran and approached Francis.

“What is your connection with Jacelyn?”

“Why did you kill Justin Kimberly?”

“Are you also behind the death of Sharon Kimberly, her husband and Grandma Kimberly?”

“Why did you wear a mask to carry out this act?”

“Did they offend you?”

The journalist went on and on asking Francis different question but he didn't respond.

“Thank you so much, Mister. But who are you?” Grandpa Carl asked politely

“I am the Crimson Dragon!” The masked man replied with a deep tone and got into the car.”

Watching the masked man leave left everyone speechless.

Crimson Dragon in Kentic City?

Was the man really the Crimson Dragon?

The Carls went into their house and soon the journalist and others left for their destinations.

The news about the Crimson Dragon and Jacelyn spread like wildfire.

The deaths of four members of Kimberly's family on the same day left the whole city in shock.

In the Kimberlys' Mansion.

All their family members were present.

A middle aged man stood with his arms crossed over his chest.

It was Sly Kimberly.

Sly Kimberly was a soldier whose station was at the Neuro plains. His flight to attend Sharon's wedding was delayed due to climate changes.

When he arrived home, he met his family mourning instead of merrying.

Sharon who was his niece, her husband and his mother were all dead.

“This is the note I saw on the car, it must be from the murderer.”

Sly read the content and widened his eyes.

“Poison?” Sly whispered.

The autopsy on the trio also revealed that they were poisoned.

Sly was thinking of how to get the murderer when a young lady screamed.

It was Ruth Kimberly, Sly's daughter.

“What is wrong?” Drew asked angrily.

“J-Justin is dead.” Ruth said, tears rolling down her cheek.

Sly was dumbfounded and wondered if he heard well.

Ruth told them to check the trending gist’s on social media.

While watching a video about the incident, Ruth screamed again.

“Jacelyn Carl is the cause of Justin's death. The man who claimed to save her and killed Justin is called the Crimson Dragon. Check the comment section too.”

The video of how Justin was killed and the scenes at Jacelyn's house were posted online.

But the identity of the masked man was still a mystery.

Then the Kimberlys’ heard the ambulance siren.

A corpse was brought for identification. Sly and Drew confirmed it was Justin.

To their shock, they saw a note and it has same content like the one they saw earlier.

Sly concluded it was one person who was behind the murdering of his loved ones.

He knew the Crimson Dragon was the one who fights with dagger and never misses a target but he decided to get to the root of everything.

Sly's expression darkened and he returned inside.

“I will avenge their deaths. The Carls must produce their daughter's savior today or they will all die tonight.”
