All eyes were averted toward Andrew who stood with a smirk and his arm inside his pants pockets.

Ellie stood frozen; she knew why Andrew had come. She has never imagined that she would be on the losing side, not even talk more about eating her poop in this world.

Her pride now lower than her neck, she grabbed her bag to run but was stopped by one of the guests.

“You’re not going anywhere we heard what you said earlier.”

One of the guests played the video for Ellie to watch, and she fell to the floor on her knees. “I’m sorry, Andrew. I didn’t mean to be rude and disrespectful.” She mumbled.

Olivia looked at the scene with a raised brow. From what she saw she felt angered by how they had disrespected Andrew, and at the same time, she wondered if her father had made the right decision.

She thought about the list, and how Andrew had helped her to select a few names. She thought maybe he had done that on purpose because he knew something like this would happen.

Livinus stepped forward, his arm clasped below his jaw. “Please, spare my wife. She didn’t mean to disrespect you.”

“Don’t you dare call me your wife.” Ellie snapped angrily.

Livinus turned to his wife, who was now sweating profusely. “You should be grateful that I am trying to apologise on your behalf.”

“This is all your fault, if you had focused more on the pitch and not tried to bribe your way toward getting a deal, this would not have happened.”

“Ellie, I have had enough.” Livinus shouted, “Don’t blame me. You and your greedy old mother are to blame for this. I have worked so hard for your company, and she threatened to sack me if I didn’t get the deal. Your mother never liked me, she would do anything to make sure I am out of your life. What do I get for trying to help a slap from you? To hell with you and your family,”

Hearing that, Ellie’s face twisted. “Don’t talk to my mother in that manner, you are a lazy man. That’s why you failed.”

Livinus took a step forward, slapped her across the face twice, and then smacked her head against the marble floor.

Gasps erupted around the room as phones were raised to record the scene.

Andrew stopped the guards from interfering, at that moment, Ellie could only plead for help.

“You and your mother should die.” Livinus didn’t hold his frustration as he kept slapping her so hard.

After a few slaps, Andrew winked at the guard and they grabbed him away from Ellie. Her lips have been torn from the slaps, her face turned red and her hair dishevelled.

“I’m going to kill you and that good-for-nothing old woman.” Livinus voiced.

Ellie crawled toward Andrew, sobbing. “Please, don’t make me do this. Tell me your price—my family has money. I’ll do anything you want.” Tears streamed down her face as she begged.

A faint smile appeared on Andrew’s lips as he watched the once-proud Ellie reduced to pleading.

“I’m sorry, but you were the one who brought the challenge, and I wouldn’t want everyone here to be disappointed. A deal is a deal.”

Andrew turned to the guards. “Take her to the women’s restroom and make sure she goes through with the punishment. If she refuses, find a way to carry it out. Do you understand?”

The guards exchanged uneasy glances but nodded quickly. “Yes, sir.”

“Wait. Bring her husband too. Make him sit there and watch everything. If he resists, make sure you slap him so he complies.”

The couple was dragged out of the hall while several guests followed behind, eager to witness the humiliation. As disturbing as it was, many felt a sense of satisfaction at seeing the arrogant woman brought low. Some were already preparing to record the incident, hoping to post it online and gain attention on social media.

“Who is this guy, isn’t he scared of the old lady? Or the Martins’ family?”

Andrew remained unbothered; he took a step back to his seat waiting for the event to end so he could head home.

The host took the moment to calm the situation, and the selected companies were called together and given a few minutes to make a few speeches.

Outside the hall, Andrew was waiting patiently for Olivia when he received a message notification. He smiled when he watched the video for a few minutes.

The video has been uploaded and has gotten several likes and comments.

The video shook the entire city.

Andrew tossed his phone inside his pocket after going through the comments.

At that moment, he glanced at his watch, he had waited about an hour for Olivia.

Suddenly, he heard a soft voice from behind. “What are you still doing here? I thought you had left.”

Andrew turned to Olivia and smiled. “I have been waiting for you, I want to make sure you get home safely.”

She raised her brow and smiled. “I can take care of myself, and I have always done that.”

“I know but I feel different today. So do you mind if I take you home myself?”

Olivia looked at him for a moment, then nodded and gave him the key. “You are not coming into my house, keep that in mind.”

“Fine.”

Andrew took the driver’s seat and ignited the car, without hesitation he drove the car out of the building premises.

Andrew kept staring at the rearview mirror, Twice Olivia caught him.

“You should focus on the road.”

He nodded and kept his composure.

Suddenly, two SUVs raced toward them. Andrew and Olivia’s expressions changed. He was about to accelerate when a figure stormed from the car window and fired at their car tyres, forcing the car and Andrew to stop.

“We are under attack,” Olivia whispered with tension brewing in her voice.

"Don't you have any idea whom you're messing with?"The leader grinned, slow and mocking. "That's exactly why we're letting you step out on your own, Ms. Clark. We don't want to harm you yet."Andrew, beside her, was calm the way a lake goes still before a storm. "Stay in the car," he said quietly. "I can handle them.""No." Olivia's breath caught. "I'll call for backup."She reached for her phone
