"What?! You want to be a baker?" Julie was surprised by what Oliver was planning. She just arrived a few minutes ago bringing some delicious croissants.

"Why are you surprised? Do I look like I don't know how to bake?" Oliver chuckled.

"It's not like that, but you worked hard to become a computer architect and then you just give up because of what they did? Like DUH! You can still find another company to work as a computer architect." Julie thinks Oliver should find another better job.

"How can I apply to another company, my image is already ruined, remember?"

"That's a big problem..." Julie is willing to help him if he wants to be a baker but she has some sad news, "The bakery shop will be closing next week and this will be the last week to open."

"Why would they close it?" Oliver asked.

"We've been getting a lot of unwarranted bad reviews lately." She said, "We suspect it's because of another competitor, but we have no proof, and these bad reviews have left us with fewer and fewer customers."

"I will help you to figure it out. This is the best croissant I've ever had. I couldn't believe in any bad reviews."

Julie wiped her tears, her frown replaced by a smile.

"There are only three of us left working in the bakery, and the salary is only $10 per hour." Julie explained.

"It works for me."

"I notice we seem to understand each other?" Julie said.

"Of course, we're friends." Oliver smiled.

They can't explain the compatibility between the two of them, it's like they were meant to know each other.

"I'm about to go back to my apartment to fix my room and I can go to work the next day." Oliver said before leaving.

When Oliver returned to the old apartment he found someone in the room. He was surprised to see Carter.

"What are you doing here?"

He saw Carter wipe his hand with a handkerchief when he touched some dust.

"You fit in this dirty, smelly, and dusty environment, you're like a cockroach I want to step on, but I won't let my shoes get dirty from a bastard like you," He said arrogantly.

"You're just an unwanted son of my father's betrayal."

"Why are you blaming me?! Did I want to be born in this world?! Do you think I'm happy that my father is that man who did nothing but let me wander the streets? Then you're going to blame me for the sin he committed? Yes. I'm just a result of his betrayal in the past but I'm still his son he never treated right unlike you!"

Oliver knew that Carter was there to vent his anger on why he had a stepbrother like him.

"I'm the one who should be angrier. Because you're lucky! You didn't go through the hardships I went through. You grew up with a silver spoon in your mouth. You'll get everything you want. You've also got my girlfriend? So what else do you want? Take it all even though I don't have anything left!" Carter was silent, he just looked at Oliver who had more right to be angry than him.

"You should die!" Carter shouted.

"You want to kill me?! Go ahead. Kill me." Oliver challenged him.

Carter suddenly pulled out a gun from his bag.

"You're only going to mess up my life. I don't want to see you hovering around me and my family." Unexpectedly, Carter immediately fired the gun that hit Oliver's heart.

Suddenly, Julie woke up in her bed and Oliver was at her side with a worried face because she had fainted earlier.

"Are you okay? Do you have a headache?" Oliver touched her neck to check if she had a fever "I didn't go home because you suddenly passed out near the door,"

"Don't go home yet." Julie gasped, terrified of her nightmare.

"Why? Are you afraid to be here alone?"

"No. I just had a bad dream about you." Oliver nodded, "Looks like you had a nightmare?"

"Yeah. I dreamed that you were killed by that man named Carter, the son of the CEO."

Oliver suddenly laughed. "That bastard can't even punch me. Will he still be able to kill me?

"My dream is just weird. Because it was like you two are brothers fighting over something. I don't know. I can't remember it. It's really weird but.. please don't go home. I'm still nervous. I'm afraid that maybe when you go home your enemies will attack."
