CHAPTER 32

The bruises on Carter's face came from the punch of his father who was angry because he accused him of possibly being behind the incident where Oliver was beaten up and framed.

"Are you the one behind what happened to Oliver?" Mr. Thompson dictated to Carter who was surprised to be punched in the face.

"Dad, why would you accuse me? Can I do that to my stepbrother?" He dictated.

Mr.Thompson's eyes narrowed, he knows Carter was lying.

"You hated him. You don't like him a lot and you're trying to destroy him. Am I right?" He doesn't want anyone to lie in front of him.

"Yes, I do. I hate him for embarrassing my fiance and I hate him because I can't accept that he is my stepbrother." He admitted directly."It's still hard for me to accept him, dad. But I can't do what you accuse me of."

"Make sure you have nothing to do with that. You won't like my punishment if you're involved in the incident." Threatened by his father.
