The king of Almeria had turned his back to his entire court, his gaze fixed upon his majestic throne, as his body trembled with anger as thoughts of anger consumed him.

“So, he is truly dead, then?” the king inquired, his voice filled with fury.

“Yes, King Pepe, I have sent message to dispatched one of our kingdom’s finest assassins still inside J-Clan kingdom to investigate, and he had confirmed that it was indeed the envoy we had sent,” Lucas replied.

“So, the envoy of I, King Pepe of Almeria, was killed as a warning, while the other envoys of smaller kingdoms than mine were allowed to leave unharmed.”

“ I’m being mocked by a low-ranking kingdom, and all of you stand here telling me there is nothing i can do?” King Pepe’s voice grew louder, his anger becoming more evident.

“That is not entirely accurate,” Lucas interjected.
