Chapter 3
After Father Thorian’s cold departure, the atmosphere in the room shifted. Seraphina lingered beside Adrian..kael adjusting the covers as if afraid he might vanish again.
“You should rest,” she said softly, her voice trembling with concern. “You’ve only just woken up. Don’t push yourself.”
Adrian offered a small nod. “Thanks… for everything.”
Seraphina gave him a sad smile, brushing a lock of hair from his forehead with a tenderness that made his chest ache.
A gentle knock interrupted them, and a young maid peeked in. “Princess Seraphina, His Majesty requests your presence regarding tomorrow’s coronation ceremony.”
Seraphina hesitated, clearly torn. “I’ll be back soon. Please, Kael… stay in bed.”
Adrian forced a reassuring smile. “I’ll be here.”
The moment the door closed behind her, Adrian exhaled and stared at the ornate ceiling. Everything still felt like a dream too vivid, too strange, too impossible to be real.
But it was real.
He looked down at his thin hands again, clenching them into fists. “I’m a prince,” he muttered. “In another world. In another body.”
He couldn’t sit still. His thoughts buzzed like angry bees, and the silence of the room made it worse.
So he stood wobbly at first and moved toward the doorway. A soft golden light spilled from the hallway, beckoning him. Curiosity tugged at him stronger than reason.
One step after another, he followed the light.
At the end of the corridor, double doors stood ajar. Adrian pushed them open and his breath caught in his throat.
The world outside was breathtaking.
He stood on a marble balcony overlooking a vast kingdom. Towers of silver and white spiraled toward the sky, their tips crowned with fluttering banners. A glowing moat shimmered below like liquid starlight, encircling the palace grounds in a radiant ring. Trees with golden leaves lined the distant gardens, swaying in a breeze that carried the scent of jasmine and something ancient.
Then, the air shifted.
A sudden gust blew his hair back, and a massive shadow swept across the balcony. Adrian looked up
And froze.
A creature straight from myth burst through the clouds scales like molten bronze, wings that stretched like sails, and eyes that burned like amber fire.
A dragon.
Riding it was a figure cloaked in black and silver armor, their silhouette sharp and majestic against the sun. The beast shrieked as it swooped low straight toward Adrian.
“Holy” Adrian yelped, diving to the floor. He covered his head, heart racing.
The dragon whooshed past, the wind from its wings slamming into him like a wave. He scrambled to his feet, heart pounding with panic and humiliation.
“Seriously? What the hell was that for?!” he shouted, glaring at the sky. “You oversized flying lizard!”
The dragon landed nearby with a thunderous thud, cracking the stones beneath its claws. Its rider dismounted in one graceful leap.
Adrian stared. The rider had sharp cheekbones, long silver-blond hair tied back, and eyes the color of ice. For a moment, Adrian thought it was a girl until the voice shattered that illusion.
“Tsk. You’re louder than I expected,” the rider said with a smirk. “Still alive, huh? That’s disappointing.”
Adrian’s jaw clenched. “I don’t know who you are, but you’ve got a real ego problem.”
The prince raised an elegant brow. “You don’t recognize your own cousin? Typical. The weak never remember their betters.”
Adrian blinked. “Cousin?”
The rider stepped forward, arms crossed. “Prince of the Third Sky House. You, however, are the disgrace they keep hidden behind velvet curtains.”
Adrian scoffed. “Well, at least I don’t ride around pretending I’m in a fashion show. Nice armor, by the way bit much, don’t you think?”
Lyrixa expression darkened. “Still playing the fool, I see. I wonder if that’s your only defense.”
“I may have lost my memory,” Adrian snapped, “but I’m still a prince. I won’t be bullied by a sparkly dragon jockey.”
Lyrixa lip curled into a cold smile. “Very well. Let’s test your royal blood.”
He extended his arm and suddenly, a mark blazed to life along his forearm, glowing with swirling runes and golden fire. The air shimmered around him.
Before Adrian could react, an invisible force slammed into him like a wrecking ball.
He crashed into the wall behind him, the impact rattling through his bones. Pain lanced down his spine as he crumpled to the floor, groaning.
“What the hell was that?” he hissed, clutching his ribs. Lyrixa approached slowly, voice laced with amusement. “You don’t even know how to use spiritual energy, do you? Pathetic.”
Adrian forced himself to stand, legs shaking. “You think that makes you strong? Attacking someone who can’t fight back?”
Lyrixa laughed. “Oh, I’m just getting started.”
He began to spin his arm in a slow, deliberate motion. Energy coiled around him, forming a glowing vortex of light and heat. Wind whipped across the balcony as the spell built in power.
Adrian’s heart dropped. The air itself seemed to retreat from Lyrixa’s magic.
This wasn’t a scolding.
This was an execution.
Eyes wide, Adrian took a step back. He’s going to kill me.
Then, a sudden burst of blinding golden light exploded between them, smashing Lyrixa’s attack to pieces. The air thundered with the force, and Adrian barely kept his footing.
A fierce voice rang out, “Enough!”

The void no longer threatened; it awaited.Seraphina was at his side. She had transformed not just into his equal, but his echo her aura healing entire galaxies, her touch calming entities born from entropy itself. And yet, her smile was still Seraphina’s soft, kind, filled with Earth’s warmth.“I still remember the garden behind the Parker house,” she whispered. “That’s where love began for us. Not here. Not with power.”Adrian brushed her cheek.“And it’s what makes all of this mean something.”Behind them, Betty stood draped in a cloak of woven realities, her eyes seeing not just time but potential. Chapter 99 - The Choice Of Forever

What do you choose?”Two paths shimmered before him.The first was warm and familiar. It led back to Earth to Seraphina’s gentle hands, Betty’s sharp laughter, Luna’s protective presence, and the steady love of the Parkers. Peace. Simplicity. Her hands touched broken fragments of ancient realities, failed timelines, wounded memories and mended them with a gentleness that transcended comprehension. She didn’t force them back into shape; she nurtured them, coaxing them to reform as something better.“This,” she whispered, “is what healing looks like… even for the cosmos.”The entity observed without comment, but its shape if it could be called that shifted slightly, as though leaning closer. Its vast presence quivered with interest, intrigued by the idea that pain didn’t have to be erased to be redeemed.Next came Betty, steppi

Sacred symmetry shattered as the architects deployed their forces not to defend the cosmos, but to preserve their control over it.“You were the balance,” one architect snarled to their former leader. “Now you have a fracture.”Adrian’s StandIn the core of the Prime Architect’s mindscape, Adrian felt the pressure building.
