Chapter 1 - A stranger in the mirror
Chapter 1
Adrian Wolfe jolted awake, drenched in sweat and gasping for breath. His heart pounded against his chest like a war drum, and for a moment, all he could hear was the rushing of blood in his ears. The last thing he remembered was the roar of the plane engines then screams, smoke, a blinding flash
And now, silence.
His eyes darted around the room, wide with confusion. This wasn’t the plane. It wasn’t even a hospital. No this was something else entirely. Golden sunlight spilled through velvet curtains, casting a warm glow across the marble floor. Intricate patterns were carved into the wooden walls, and chandeliers glittered above like captured stars. The bed he lay in felt like it had been made for royalty soft, enveloping, and absurdly large.
Adrian's breath caught in his throat. This place looked like it belonged in a fantasy movie or a history book.
Then he noticed something that made his body go rigid.
There was someone else in the bed.
Slowly, cautiously, he lifted the heavy quilt beside him.
A girl young, maybe sixteen lay curled beside him, her expression peaceful in sleep. Her skin glowed like porcelain under the morning light. She wore a flowing white robe embroidered with golden threads, and her dark hair fell around her like silk. Delicate jewelry sparkled on her ears and wrists, and she smelled faintly of roses and lavender.
Adrian froze, a thousand thoughts crashing into his mind all at once.
Who is she? Why is she here? Why am I here?
He blinked rapidly and looked away, mentally scolding himself. She's just a girl. A teenager. Focus, Adrian. Focus.
But nothing made sense.
The air was warm. The sheets were real. The floor, the bed, the smell of incense it was all real. Too real. Was this some strange dream? Had he died in the crash and gone to... heaven?
Before he could gather his thoughts, the girl stirred beside him. Her eyes fluttered open large, amber-brown eyes that immediately widened with relief.
“Oh, thank the stars!” she gasped, sitting up quickly. Her hand touched his forehead. “kael, you’re awake! You were burning up I thought we’d lost you!”
Adrian stared at her, stunned into silence. “Wait… what did you just call me?”
“kael,” she said, as if it were obvious. “Don’t you remember? You dove into the pond to get my handkerchief, and”
“I think you’ve got the wrong person” Adrian began, but she was already off the bed, rushing toward the door.
“I need to tell Father Thorian Belgrave! Stay here!” she called over her shoulder before disappearing into the corridor.
Adrian sat there, bewildered. His pulse raced, and he felt cold despite the warmth of the room. He needed answers.
Stumbling out of bed, he moved toward the ornate full-length mirror that stood in the corner. Each step felt foreign, like his body was resisting him. He reached the mirror
And what he saw nearly knocked the air out of his lungs.
The face staring back at him wasn’t his.
Gone was the strong-jawed, broad-shouldered man he had always been. In his place stood a pale, gaunt boy with hollow cheeks and sunken eyes. His body was thin, almost frail, like he hadn’t eaten in weeks. His chest rose and fell in shallow breaths, and his hands his once steady, calloused hands trembled.
“No… no, no, no,” Adrian whispered, stumbling back. “This isn’t me. What the hell is going on?”
He stared at the boy in the mirror, trying to find some hint of familiarity some trace of the man he once was but there was nothing.
Just a stranger in his skin.
And suddenly, the silence in the royal room felt suffocating.
Just as the silence pressed in like a weight, footsteps sounded beyond the door rushed, panicked. Then a girl’s voice, sharp with urgency, broke through the stillness: “He’s awake but something’s wrong… he doesn’t remember me!”

Rebirth Of The Dragon Prince Chapter 15 - The Unseen Flame
Chapter 15 The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the training ground as Arlena Hayes stood tall before the thirty trainees, her whip curled in one hand and her sharp eyes scanning the group like a hawk surveying prey."It’s time to evaluate your Dragon Spiritual Power," she announced, her voice cutting through the murmurs like a blade. "Before you can begin cultivating the Mysterious Dragon Skill, we need to know your power level and elemental alignment."Adrian stood among the others, arms folded, expression neutral, though his thoughts were swirling. He glanced at the little war beast nestled in his robe it blinked at him with curious, almost human eyes.Arlena motioned, and six uniformed officers stepped forward, each holding a glowing orb embedded with runes. In the center of the field, a larger, jagged crystal stood on a pedestal the legendary Dragon Spirit Stone."This stone will react to your essence," Arlena explained. "Step forward, place your hand on the surface,

The stable doors creaked, and curses filled the air as boys stumbled over each other.Except for Adrian. He stood still for a moment, brushing off a speck of dust from his shoulder like royalty. “Fifteen minutes? That’s barely enough time for a proper stretch,” he muttered, voice dripping with sarcasm. His little beast, cradled in his arms like a kitten, nuzzled against his chest with innocent affection.Arlena's sharp eyes followed him as he moved at a leisurely pace, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. “That brat,” she muttered under her breath. “He’s either bold or brainless.”From a distance, Father Thorian watched too, arms crossed, scoffing. “He’s always been a spoiled prince. Just wait until he gets left

Rebirth Of The Dragon Prince Chapter 13 - The Outcast Choice
Chapter 13The air inside the beast stables was still heavy with the stench of wild creatures as the young spiritual manipulators filed out. Their newly bonded beasts trotted or hovered beside them, proud additions to their growing power. Adrian trailed behind, the small creature he had chosen nestled comfortably in his arms, its soft fur brushing his robes.Unlike the others, who strutted like peacocks with powerful war beasts at their sides, Adrian was quiet. His little companion was weak and unimpressive to the eye but he didn’t care. He had seen something in its gaze that the others missed. Something rare. Something worth betting everything on.“Get moving, loser!” one of the vaelthorn Clan boys sneered as he brushed past Adrian.Adrian smirked, unbothered. “Keep barking. One day, I’ll leash you too.”The boy scoffed, but before he could retort, Father Thorian's booming voice cut through the chatter.“Move! Carriages are waiting! No delays!”Soon, the group was loaded onto the car

Rebirth Of The Dragon Prince Chapter 12 - The Weakest Beast
Chapter 12 The boys gathered around as Father Thorian announced the next phase: bonding with their chosen war beasts through a blood ritual. The rules were simple state the number of the beast, offer a drop of blood, and if the creature accepted it, the bond would be complete. The first boy confidently stepped forward. “Number 14.”From one of the stables emerged a snarling two-star Hellish Hound with thick black fur, red eyes, and massive tusks that jutted out like curved blades. Gasps filled the hall. It was the kind of beast that exuded power and violence.“Excellent choice,” Father Thorian said with approval. “A beast with raw aggression and two-star potential.”As the ritual began, Adrian stood quietly at the back, hands folded behind him, eyes drifting toward the darker end of the stable. He already knew the number he would call.He had found his companion earlier tucked in a shadowed corner, sickly and trembling, yet sweet and brave enough to lick his hand with affection. Ther

Now, he stood with a defiant spark in his eyes, challenging the crown prince himself.Travis turned slowly, his dragon-embroidered robe shifting like liquid gold in the torchlight. A mocking smirk tugged at his lips. “Stronger than me?” he scoffed, his voice rich with contempt. “You can’t even stand upright after a little pressure. You’re not brave you’re delusional.”Then, with the ease of someone swatting a fly, he turned and walked away, not granting Adrian another second of his attention. The other princes followed with sneers and muttered insults.“Pathetic,” one spat.Adrian clenched his fists as they passed. The sting of humiliation still burned on his skin, but it was the fire in his

Rebirth Of The Dragon Prince Chapter 10 - The Rejected
Chapter 10 The hall buzzed with tension and disbelief as the Emperor's chilling voice echoed: "kael is no longer a prince of the Holy Dragon Empire. From this moment on, he is stripped of all royal titles."Seraphina gasped. Her eyes shimmered with tears as she stepped forward. "Your Majesty, please reconsider! He just bonded with the Holy Dragon Bead! That should prove he's worthy""Enough, Seraphina," the Emperor snapped, his expression unyielding. "I will not repeat myself. A disgrace like him does not deserve our name."Travis, the crown prince, chuckled coldly, folding his arms across his chest. "A weakling like kael finally gets lucky, and you all want to throw him a parade?" His condescending gaze fell on Adrian. "Let him enjoy this moment. It won't last."Adrian, still stunned, clenched his fists. Inside, his mind reeled. So this is how easily a father abandons his son... His heart ached not for the lost title, but for the sheer cruelty. But just as the weight of rejection se
