Chapter fifty.

They walked along the pavement down the street, walking aimlessly.

The street had become busier and there was many sights of couples walking around with a smile, hands held and touched in one pocket. Whispering to themselves without a care of who was watching.

Niko peaked at Rapheal's finger and she wondered if they still held the warmth from the night before.

There was a guy playing a guitar at one side of the street and a small crowd had gathered.

The experience was novel, Niko stopped, taking notes with interest. Rapheal stood protectively by her left shielding her from the rush of people.

The song was valentine themed and the guitarist played beautifully. At the end everyone clapped enthusiastically and some sincere ones dropped some money in his hat.

Taking a turn around a corner they walked into an open space. They were much people, with stalls set up neatly at the side.

A large expense of ice spread out in a circle, barricaded around the edge. It was an outdoor ice rink.
