Chapter fifty one.
The moment he returned from the short trip Rapheal was thrown into a web of work.While monitoring the ongoing construction for the mall in progress he noticed something wrong with the materials that was been supplied.He had personally reviewed the contract with the supplier and indeed the first batch was exactly what they had agreed on, but the batch after that consisted of substandard materials.This was brought to his attention by the project manager he put in charge. They walked along the pavement down the street, walking aimlessly.The street had become busier and there was many sights of couples walking around with a smile, hands held and touched in one pocket. Whispering to themselves without a care of who was watching.Niko peaked at Rapheal's finger and she wondered if they still held the warmth from the night before.There was a guy playing a guitar at one side of the street and a small crowd had gathered.The experience was novel, Niko stopped, taking notes with interest. The next day the weather was bright and sunny. It showed signs of a good day to play outdoor.Rapheal woke up in a good mood, it was one of those morning he had nothing planned to do and he was a bit lost on how to spend it.After lying around in bed for a bit more, he stood up and walked to the room next door.At the second knock, the door was thrown open and he was greeted by Niko dressed in her favorite fluffy SpongeBob pyjamas."Bold choice." Rapheal eyes darken and he excused himself before walking over. Unknown to him, Mr Edward and his wife were right behind him."What happened?" He asked Niko, but before she could respond the other girl suddenly reacted."I am sorry. I am sorry, I didn't mean to. I just saw you and wanted to talk to you, but I dont know how I tripped!" She looked in her early teens, fifteen or so. Her face was red from lack of breath as she apologized repeatedly. The sincerity in her voice was hard to ignore."It's okay." Niko replied indifferently.
