13. Unknown Trouble!

The great divine academy, Healer’s office

“uh, the first-year knight students are here again?” (The head healer)

“Ye-yeah, sir” (The apprentice healer)

The head healer sighed deeply and shook his head, his workload has increased recently, ever since these first years joined the academy. Last time it was still all and good but today, the students are seemingly suffering from a nightmare or something.

They seem to have seen something horrible and nightmarish. The students admitted today are vomiting continuously, maybe they are thinking about something that happened during their training in the class today.

“Well, I have no other choice but to heal them, sigh~” (The head healer)

Mark was also in the healer’s office today, he was also suffering from the same thing, that is, vomiting continuously. Every time he remembered what happened in the class, he can’t help but have an urge to vomit.

Seeing the confusion on Mark’s face Lisa introduced herself:

“I am Lisa Walt, A healer. I have been studying here.”

“A-also th-thanks for that day” (Lisa)

Hearing her sweet voice Mark’s mood calmed down. He even forgot about what had happened today in the class. Such is the power of the main heroine; she can calm anyone with just her voice alone.

“Oh, I was just passing by, don’t worry about it” (Mark)

“How did your health get so worse?” (Lisa)

Lisa asked worriedly. As if remembering it again Mark again had the urge to vomit, he directly got up and ran away in the washroom. Seeing his strange behavior, Lisa got confused. She didn’t expect him to have those symptoms again, even though she has already used her calming skill on Mark.

Yeah, she has the skill Calm, which can calm people’s mind and make them relieved of their trauma. This skill is extremely rare and only she knows about it. She didn’t tell about it to even her grandfather.

‘what horrific thing he has seen, even my skill is not working on him.’ (Lisa)

The same phenomenon was happening around all the rooms of the healer’s office. All the students admitted were suffering in the same way. But obviously it is not a permanent trauma, they will recover from it as time goes by.

“Then what’s the problem?” (Mike)

“They are suffering from trauma and are vomiting” (???)

“Then what are you waiting for! let’s catch that bastard and punish him for harming the students!” (Mike)

“he has broken academy’s rule!” (Mike)

 “uh, Master, well, there’s actually no rule, stating that a teacher can’t harm the students mentally” (???)

“the rule is to, not harm physically” (???)

“tsk, damn it! That bastard has done it on purpose! add this in academy’s rules, so that such things are not repeated!” (Mike)

“ugh, that bastard!” (Mike)

“Uh, Master, there’s one more thing” (???)

“There’s more!?” (Mike)

“We have observed two unknown individuals infiltrate the academy” (???)

“Hmm, where are they now” (Mike)

“They are rushing towards the villa No. 75 in teacher’s area” (???)

“Okay, keep observing for now and only take action if important, be sure that no student is harmed” (Mike)

After taking Mike’s order the person disappeared in the shadows, a strange silence enveloped the room.

‘Are they after that bastard?’ (Mike)

‘I didn’t want to get involved in the dirty politics of those families, but it seems inevitable’ (Mike)

Mike shook his head and a sigh escaped his mouth.

‘Maybe they are here to assassinate him’ (Mike)

Villa No. 75, The training room

Neo was sitting standing there, lost in his thoughts. Today, he had dissected that wolf in front of those rookie students. Well, it may be considered a traumatic experience for others but dissecting a monster is a very important skill, that every warrior should learn in this world.

Not only it can provide necessary food materials and valuable things like bones and skin, it can also strengthen a warrior’s mental strength. Neo have also done this training in the church for three months continuously.

You might think, why it is so important. Well, the answer to it is very simple. Since warriors focus mainly on their physical stats and only strengthen their physique during training, their mental strength is left behind.

Which can cause disbalance in the body. The mental strength of Mage related individuals is always high, but warriors are far behind in this. So, in order to increase their mental strength warriors, use dissection as a training method, just like a mage increase their mental strength by reading books and increasing knowledge.

Although, the increase is not that significant but it still can do some benefits to the warriors, afterall warriors do not like to study books very much. They will get irritated very fast reading those complicated stuffs.

This is also one of the reasons why Mage’s are so rare. Not to mention they have to comprehend so many complicated things, they have to conduct several experiments to continue their path as a magician.

Compared to a Mage, a warrior’s path is simple and straightforward, filled with harsh training and intense close-range battles. Well it doesn’t matter which path you are on; the ultimate goal is to reach the pinnacle of strength.

The constant training has increased Neo’s stats a little bit, there’s not that much difference from before, but the most interesting thing is the increase of INT stat, it has increased so fast and so much compared to the other stats.

Having a high INT is always a good thing, not to mention your brain will be enhanced, your reaction speed, your thinking speed, your perception and battle senses will be increased as well.

‘Other things don’t seem to have changed, I need to visit the library, otherwise I won’t be able to improve much.’ (Neo)

Well he needs to have high enough rank to enter the Library. Only students with high rankings and professors ranked 50 or lower can enter the great library.

If not for the fact that the principle is maintaining this restriction, Neo would have already entered the library by directly forcing his way inside. These restrictions are set by the academy not the library.

The great library allows anyone and everyone to enter, even if you are a novice or a grandmaster, all are same in the library. This shows the greatness of a king rank individual who created this library.

Neo stopped thinking about the library and started to walk towards the sparring area of the training ground. Every professor is provided with this thing. They can summon veteran rank golems to spar, by using the authority card given to them.

Neo wondered how so many golems are even created in the academy. Afterall it takes about a month’s time for a mage to create a stone golem of veteran rank. Higher rank golems take even more precious metals like black iron and longer time to be built.

No one will want to waste so many precious metals to create a brainless golem, it will be like delivering free resources to the enemies. But the golems are not totally useless they can be used to deal with lower rank individuals or can be used for training and experimenting purposes.

Not to mention there exist a golem made of pure adamantite. That golem is an early Grandmaster rank golem. It was last used to destroy the wall of the demon fort during the great war 500 years ago. No magic attacks work on it and its defense is ridiculously high, not even the high-rank demons were able to make a scratch on it.

You might be thinking this is the pinnacle a golem can go. No, it’s not true. The most powerful and strongest golem ever recorded in the history is the Guardian of the holy sword Excalibur. That is a dragon type golem made of Orichalcum and have its own will.

Its rank is unknown because it has never seen by anyone and only the hero’s have met this legendary being. According to legends that golem was created by the god of creation in the ancient times.

Neo shook his head and stopped thinking about these things and walked towards the sparring area. After he was in the area, he stayed silent for a while and said:

“I know you two are there, come out if you have the courage.” (Neo)

The surrounding remained silent for a while until two individuals appeared in the sparring grounds, right in front of Neo. They were both wearing black clothes and their face was covered in a strange mask. A mocking voice greeted Neo:

“As expected of a holy paladin, you are a capable person.” (???)

“Sadly, you will suffer today” (???)

“Heh, let’s see who will suffer” (Neo)

Neo equipped his steel gloves and a cold light flashed in his eyes, he looked straight towards the two individuals without any hesitation:

“Come!” (Neo)

On Neo’ word, the two individuals launched towards Neo with their daggers in a terrifying speed. Neo also launched towards them.
