Chapter 02

Vergo left the school, he remembered every road leading to his home. As someone from another world, he was quite unfamiliar with his new world.

Especially the tall buildings and several iron objects moving along the smooth roads.

Even though he possessed the memories of the previous owner of this body, the real feeling and those memories were very different.

"Heh, if only this modern technology had appeared in my world, perhaps my former place would have truly developed far beyond."

Vergo muttered attentively, but he immediately forgot about it and looked up at the night sky.

"The spiritual energy in this place is quite thin, it can only be used to extend one's lifespan for a certain period of time."

He felt that the previous owner of this body truly had no initiative when it came to cleanliness.

After evaluating the yard, he opened the door that creaked sharply. Clouds of dust scattered through the air, causing Vergo to frown.

A musty smell, dirty floors covered in dust, spider webs hanging in the corners of the house, seats made of wood that had already decayed.

The room was truly terrible, there was even food trash everywhere.

Vergo stepped inside, he wore a gloomy expression and looked at every place inside the house.

An unmaintained bathroom, although there was clear water. A dirty kitchen with piled-up dishes. A dusty storage room.

Seeing all of that, Vergo's annoyance toward the owner of this body grew even greater. "Damn it! What a terrible brat!"

Vergo snorted coldly, he immediately opened the bedroom door and saw that the room was simple.

Although it already looked bad, the place was slightly clean because only certain parts had been cleaned.

Vergo stepped forward and looked at the entire room with a calm gaze. "Fortunately, the bedroom is somewhat clean."

"It seems that for this one week, I will have to clean this house so that it can become a decent place to live!"

Vergo muttered softly, then he took off the clothes and pants that he was wearing.

His gaze was directed toward the large mirror right beside the wardrobe.

Long black hair full of oil, thick black glasses, an unkempt face, and a skinny body.

"Huff." Vergo let out a long sigh, then he looked at every bruise caused by the abuse at school.

His gaze examined them until he finally nodded slowly. "It's not severe, it's just that I most likely died because of a hard blow to the head."

After that, Vergo opened the window and the night air entered the room. A refreshing and cold feeling struck his body.

"I will stretch my body for a while before cleaning myself."

Vergo closed his eyes, he entered his subconscious realm and discovered that the various items he had previously carried were there.

Not only that, the Eternal Crimson Book had also accompanied his reincarnation.

This made Vergo happy, then he began opening the book. The first page was immediately memorized, then he returned to the real world.

Vergo gasped for breath because the journey to his subconscious realm had drained almost all of his energy.

"A weak body! I will make this body strong and dominate this world!" Vergo said loudly.

His eyes sharpened, then he immediately sat on the floor while refining the surrounding spiritual energy with the guidance of the Eternal Crimson Martial Art.

Vergo felt heat appear within his body, he immediately directed it toward several specific points.

However, the process took quite a long time, until morning finally arrived.
