Alex smiled, then gave a brief explanation. "Honestly, this is an easy job, just think of it as me helping you!"

"Keep your money and just pay 15 million Col. You can pay it in installments, you don't have to pay the full amount right away!" He said.

This made Vergo pause for a moment, then he smiled and nodded once. "The price can stay the same, but I'll accept the installment payment!"

Vergo naturally did not want to owe too much to other people. He knew that Alex was a good person, but he was not someone who trusted such things easily.

"I'll pay 3 million first, then I'll pay the rest later when I have the money." Vergo said casually.

He needed 1.5 million to strengthen his body before carrying out his next plan.

Alex nodded in agreement. "No problem, you can send it to this bank account!"

He handed his bank card to Vergo, then turned around and headed toward the vehicle. "I'll come here tomorrow and start the work."

"Alright, thank you, Sir!" Vergo replied casually, then watched the vehicle disappear from his sight.

After watching Alex leave, Vergo turned around and entered the house. He noticed several spots where the dust had disappeared.

This was a sign that Alex had marked several places for tomorrow's construction.

Vergo was not going to stay in the house that night, he was going to rent a nearby boarding room and stay there for one month.

He began packing several important belongings before walking out of the house.

When he reached the front of the house, he looked at it before muttering softly. "See you later, when I return to live here again, you'll be beautiful once more!"

After saying those final words, he headed toward the nearest boarding house. The place was a multi-story apartment building, and it was suitable for a student to live in.

It did not take Vergo long to reach the place. He also noticed that night had already fallen, so he slightly quickened his pace.

The boarding house he chose was close to the restaurant where he had eaten earlier. He had seen a flyer advertising the opening of the place.

That was why he knew there was a nearby boarding house.

His gaze fell upon the simple apartment building, then he walked inside and met an elderly man who was coming down from the upper floor.

"Oh, are you looking to rent one of the rooms in my apartment?" The elderly man asked while looking at Vergo.

He smiled faintly and looked closely at the young man standing before him.

"Yes, how much does it cost if I rent a room for one month?" Vergo asked while looking at the elderly man.

"It's not expensive, only 300 thousand Col." The elderly man quoted the price immediately. Then, he saw the young man take out his phone.

"I'll transfer it now." Vergo said calmly, then the elderly man took out his bank card.

"This is my bank card, just note down the number, and I'll take you to your room." The elderly man replied casually.

It did not take long for the payment to be completed. The elderly man nodded, then turned around and walked up to the next floor. "Follow me."

Vergo put his phone back into his pocket, then followed the elderly man from behind.

"Oh right, I almost forgot. My name is Fan, just call me Grandpa Fan. I'm the owner of this apartment, and perhaps we'll become neighbors, is that alright?" Grandpa Fan asked.

"I don't mind, but are the walls made of wood or brick?" Vergo answered while asking a question of his own.

"Of course our walls are solid, not wood. We always prioritize the comfort of our residents!" Grandpa Fan answered.

"What's your name, Young Man? Why have I never seen you around here?" Grandpa Fan asked while narrowing his eyes.

He had truly never seen Vergo anywhere in Area 6. That made him both curious and slightly cautious.

"My name is Vergo, I'm just an ordinary student looking for a place to stay for a while." Vergo introduced himself casually.

Grandpa Fan frowned. "Vergo... Are you the student who fell into despair in the depths of Area 6?"

Vergo stopped when he heard that. He did not expect the people around the area to refer to him as a hopeless student.

However, he could not blame them for that. After all, he really had been neglected before, and his life had been hopeless.

"Yes, that's me." Vergo admitted, there was nothing wrong with admitting it.

Grandpa Fan fell silent in thought, then sighed and patted the young man on the shoulder. "It's good that you've climbed out of that despair!"

"Remember, life is indeed hard, but always stay true to yourself. Even if we die someday, keep being someone who leaves meaning in this world!" Grandpa Fan said.

He offered his advice as an elder.

Vergo nodded in understanding. After all, he had already lived two lives and knew what was truly important in this life.

When Grandpa Fan saw that agreement, he immediately smiled broadly. He looked toward the nearby room door.

"Alright, this will be your room!"
