Vergo looked toward the door of the room that would become his new place to live. He saw Grandpa Fan handing him the key to the room.

"Remember, keep the place clean and well maintained. You can use any of the facilities inside, but take good care of them!" Grandpa Fan gave a direct reminder.

Vergo nodded lightly as he accepted the room key. "Yes, I'll make sure to take good care of everything inside!"

Grandpa Fan smiled, then turned around and left the floor where Vergo was staying.

As for Vergo, he watched the elderly man for a moment before opening the door and walking inside.

As soon as he entered, Vergo looked around and raised an eyebrow when he saw that the room was quite clean.

There was a kitchen connected to the living area. Beside it was a door leading to the bedroom, and there was also a bathroom near the kitchen.

This made Vergo feel somewhat relieved. He walked into the bedroom and placed down his belongings.

Then, he looked inside the refrigerator and found nothing at all.

"It's completely empty, but this is already enough. Tonight, I'll look for food ingredients, especially medicinal herbs."

"One million should be enough to buy several medicinal herbs!" Vergo muttered softly.

He had truly mastered every herbal formula from Level 1 all the way to the peak level. For someone who had already mastered his previous world, this was quite easy.

However, he was now genuinely puzzled. The spiritual energy in this new world was extremely thin and not easy to refine.

It was as if the spiritual energy itself was mixed with certain impurities.

"Forget it, I need to get ready to head out tonight. Hopefully that gang of thugs won't keep looking for me until night."

Vergo chuckled softly as he remembered the gang of thugs that was currently searching for him.

Meanwhile...

In an alley within Area 6, near the long river. Several people had gathered there.

Bang!

"How could you let that guy get away!" A muscular bald man shouted.

The man glared sharply at everyone present. "Jansen! What did the person who defeated you look like!"

Jansen stepped forward while trembling. "He was a skinny young man. I don't know his name, but he's definitely still a student!"

The bald man's eyes widened when he heard Jansen's statement. He looked at him before striking him hard across the head.

Bam!

"You bastard! How could you lose to a mere brat! You've truly brought shame to our group, damn it!" the Bald Man shouted.

Jansen collapsed onto the ground as blood continued to flow from his nose. He trembled in fear when he heard the leader's furious voice.

Meanwhile, the Bald Man looked at the two men covered in bruises and injuries. "Did you two also lose to that brat?"

Thug 1 nodded. "Yes, Boss. This kid isn't ordinary, and I suspect he's trained in some kind of martial art."

"He's incredibly slippery, and even his fighting skills are highly refined, it felt as though I wasn't fighting a mere kid at all!" Thug 2 gave the same response.

The Bald Man's expression immediately darkened after hearing the statements from his two subordinates.

He did not expect that both of them had also been defeated by the same person, and that person was only a student.

"So, where did that brat run off to?" the Bald Man asked in a deep voice. He was clearly holding back his anger as he asked the question.

"We don't know, but one thing's certain, he seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere." Thug 1 answered while shaking his head.

This made the Bald Man's expression grow even darker. He looked at everyone present. "I'm giving you all an order, find this guy and teach him a lesson!"

"Anyone who messes with the Dog Hand Thugs won't have a good ending!" the Bald Man shouted.

The order had been given, and every thug became serious. They all nodded before setting out to search for the young man who had offended them.

The Bald Man sat down on a worn-out sofa, his eyes filled with rage. He truly wanted to meet that young man and fight him.

Meanwhile...

Vergo had no idea that he was currently being hunted by the gang of thugs in Area 6.

Even if he knew, Vergo would still remain indifferent and be ready to face all of them.

"I didn't expect that while cleansing my body, I could still undergo a bit of training." Vergo muttered.

He was still studying the Eternal Crimson Martial Art and did not expect that the martial art could be practiced while cleansing his body.

Vergo became stronger. He could feel the changes within himself, they were small, but there was definitely growth.

He changed into a different set of clothes and walked out of the room. He locked the door, then noticed that the surroundings had already become dark.

Vergo opened his phone, then marked a location where medicinal herbs were sold.

"Alright, time to go!"
