Chapter 11

Vergo walked out of the room where he was staying. He locked the door and went downstairs from the floor where he now lived.

As he walked down the stairs, he came across two young women climbing up.

"Oh, are you a new resident?"

The young woman with long black hair paused in surprise when she saw a young man coming down from the upper floor.

Vergo looked at her and nodded lightly. "Yes, nice to meet you. I'm staying in the room at the very end."

After saying that, he continued downstairs while waving his hand.

However, he did not notice the shock on the two young women's faces at all.

"He actually dares to stay there?"

"I don't know. A lot of people moved out of that room, even though they said it had already been cleaned."

"Yeah, but why do I feel like that young man looks familiar?"

The young woman with short brown hair seemed to recall something.

However, she could not remember anyone whose face matched the young man from earlier.

"I thought I was the only one, but it turns out you felt the same!"

"Forget it, let's go upstairs. We have to go back to school tomorrow!"

"Yeah, we'd better not be absent, or that killer teacher will tear us apart!"

Both of them shuddered as they remembered the strict teacher. They continued upstairs and headed toward their respective rooms.

Meanwhile, Vergo reached the ground floor. He glanced to the left and right to make sure the street was safe.

Then, he crossed the road and waited for a taxi by the roadside.

Vergo closed his eyes for a moment before he sensed a vehicle stopping beside him.

Vergo opened his eyes and saw a taxi stopping right in front of him.

"Are you Mr. Vergo?"

"Yes, that's me." Vergo answered before getting into the vehicle.

He observed the vehicle for a moment before closing the door and sitting down calmly.

"You're going to Area 5? That's quite far, is that alright?"

"Yes, just tell me the fare." Vergo replied directly.

The driver looked at Vergo for a moment, then nodded and drove toward Area 5.

The vehicle sped toward Area 5. The driver was highly experienced, so his driving skills and maneuvers were excellent.

"Honestly, this is my first time seeing you in Area 6. Were you originally from Area 5?" The driver asked curiously.

Vergo looked ahead. "I've been living in Area 6 for a long time. I'm only going to Area 5 because I have something important to do."

"Oh, Area 5 hasn't been very peaceful lately. Be careful, especially around Sunka Hotel. The Blue Falcon Mafia is there."

"They're currently staying there, and no one should disturb them." The driver warned Vergo.

It was normal for the driver to know the situation in every area he frequently traveled through.

As for Vergo, he frowned. "The Mafia? If that's the case, then thank you for the information!"

The driver nodded in understanding, then increased the vehicle's speed. In less than thirty minutes, they arrived at Area 5.

Vergo and the driver chatted throughout the journey, quickly becoming familiar with each other. Then Vergo got out of the vehicle.

"Uncle Don, here's the payment." Vergo said while handing Don's bank card back to him.

As for Don, he smiled and waved his hand. "Alright then, I'll be going now! I'll probably be around here, just give me a call whenever you want to head back."

"Alright, Uncle Don!" Vergo nodded lightly, then watched the taxi speed away to look for another passenger.

As for Vergo, he walked toward the night market in Area 5.

The atmosphere was quite lively because many people had come out, especially after work, to find something to eat at the nearby shops.

Vergo continued walking forward until he entered the grocery store.

"Welcome to Farma Store!" A male employee greeted him.

Vergo nodded, then picked up a shopping basket and began selecting the meat he thought would be suitable for strengthening his body.

Not only that, he also picked out various vegetables and fruits.

After gathering all the groceries, he went to the cashier and placed everything he had taken on the counter.

"The total is 200 thousand Col!" The cashier said calmly.

Vergo handed over his bank card, and the cashier swiped it before returning both the shopping bags and the card.

Vergo left the grocery store, then looked toward the herbal medicine shop not far from where he was standing.

However, just as he started walking toward the herbal medicine shop, a voice rang out in his ears.

"You, aren't you Vergo, the class loser?!"

Vergo stopped and turned toward the source of the voice. He found three students dressed in casual clothes.

They walked over leisurely with malicious grins on their faces.

Vergo's eyes narrowed, and memories of the bullying he had suffered in the classroom and on the rooftop flashed through his mind.

He finally remembered that those three were among the people responsible for causing the previous owner of this body to die.

"Oh, it's you three... I was wondering who was barking while calling my name."
