Chapter 7: Zavier’s Friends Arrives

These trending searches not only brought popularity to the show but to both siblings who at that moment weren’t in the know but simply concerned about themselves.

The moment Zavier saw the smiling Pearl, a smile unconsciously appeared on his face. Perhaps unaware of how charming he was, he made a lot of ladies putty the moment he smiled.

As for Pearl who hadn’t seen her brothers in days, froze in her tracks as she looked at him with her jaws on the ground.

‘When did brother became so handsome like that?’ she was stunned by this sudden change but excited at the thought of having such a handsome brother.

“Pearl!” Zavier called her as he opened his arms while looking at her with a doting smile full of indulgence.

Upon seeing that, Pearl jolted out of her reverie and dashed straight at him like a child who hasn’t seen her parents for a long time.

“Fourth brother!”

The viewers watched with astonishment as Pearl threw herself into Zavier’s arms and he gently held her chuckling dotingly, a sincere smile on his face.

‘In this life, I will pamper you, Pearl. I will repay you for every sin that I committed against you. So, give me a chance to make it to you!’ he inwardly swore as he hugged the little girl.

This was the first time he was hugging her, right?

The hug lasted for a moment before Pearl finally remembered that she was recording. She reluctantly pulled away from her brother’s warm embrace but stood next to him as she hooked her arm with his.

“Fourth brother, you look dashing today!” she showered him with praise and he smiled at her as he flicked her forehead playfully which earned him a coquettish complaint.

“Brother!” and he burst out laughing, the corner of his eyes turning upwards and his visuals striking the viewers and audience.

Zavier laughed for a while before restraining himself upon seeing that Pearl was sulking. He dotingly patted her head as he coaxingly said, “brother is just happy to see you. Don’t be angry at me, okay?”

Pearl felt very sweet in her heart when she was coaxed like that. She was used to coaxing him and not the other way round. The moment she tasted that sweetness, she felt teary but held herself strongly. She didn’t want her fans or the audience to overthink. This happiness wasn’t something that they could understand.

“Umph! I will forgive you reluctantly,” she let out a snort as she suppressed the heat on her face.

Zavier beamed at her and affectionately patted her hand finding her pretty cute.

The siblings fed a lot of people dog food while standing there. After a moment of coaxing and adapting, Pearl remembered why they were at the park in the first place and asked Zavier.

“Fourth brother, what are we doing here by the way? Are we not going in yet?” her tone tinged with curiosity and anticipation.

Zavier lowered his head to look at Pearl who was just around 1.63m while he stood at 1.78 after the upgrade. He had grown taller by 5cm after taking the gene potion. The increase in height was truly a blessing to him.

Looking down on the young girl who was just two years younger than him, he felt like a big brother.

“We are going to take rides today but before we do so, let’s wait for Sebastian and others,” he told her without hiding the fact that they won’t be alone.

Pearl’s eyes widened in surprise before she squealed happily upon knowing that her brother’s friends would be joining them.

“Really?”

Zavier helplessly chuckled as he poked her cheek answering, “Um, that’s true. you are that happy?”

“Hehe, I am happy. I got to play with you and your friends. It will be lively!”

She had always envied how carefree her brother’s group was. They play whenever they feel like and do whatever they want without caring much. Even though she understood the reason, she just liked how they play amongst themselves.

The appearance of these new friends piqued everyone’s curiosity which was then satisfied ten minutes later when a convoy of sports cars arrived.

Zavier’s face twitched upon spotting the familiar cars and Pearl was so happy, she was jumping on the spot clapping her hands, unable to hide her happiness.

The cameras faithfully captured the arrival of these six sports cars with different colors. It was like seeing a rainbow but the impact was strong.

Another trending search was made and more audience flocked to Pearl’s room and that news didn’t sit well with some guests though Candice was the most affected and reluctant.

Candice had gone for a spa treatment with her friends and as someone with a lot of fans, she was happily interacting with them. When she was enjoying the spa, curious to see Pearl’s brother or rather thinking about how to use Pearl to her advantage, she playfully suggested to check the other guest broadcasts. After all, it was allowed.

After suggesting that, she didn’t hesitate but started to check everyone’s broadcast.

She started with the guys and there was nothing interesting to watch there. One of the guys was a company owner. He was busy handling his company affairs, while another being a famous singer, he was working on his songs and the last guy, taking this show as a vacation was sleeping at the shared villa.

Candice then went to check on Ruth, the movie queen and she nearly lost her composure upon seeing Ruth customizing jewelry with a very precious red diamond. It made Candice’s teeth ache badly that she decided to leave Ruth’s broadcast and check Pearl but then she lost it.

When she entered the livestream, Zavier hadn’t arrived yet and to entertain her audience she talked, insinuating left and right.

“Oh! I didn’t know that Pearl would be going to the amusement park. I can remember the last time I went to such a place without booking it.”

“Is the brother really coming? she has been waiting for a long time. I am afraid that she might be stood up. Won’t her fragile heart shatter?” as soon as she said that, the camera panned on the blue Bugatti arriving and Candice couldn’t help but nod with appreciation.

“I have been wanting to buy the same car but alas …..” before she could finish, she saw Pearl running towards the car and her hand trembled as it dawned on her.

That person in there should be Pearl’s brother. Seeing even her own fans talking about it, Candice didn’t want to give popularity to Pearl just easily like that. So, she said, “I am curious about it as well. I have never heard Pearl talking about her family. Could this brother be _?” before she could finish, the brother made an appearance and Candice was dumbstruck.

She felt her cheeks burning and the tips of her ears reddening. She was an adult and understood what was going on.

She had just got enchanted by a man who was the so-called brother of Pearl. Watching the siblings teasing each other. Candice didn’t believe for a single moment that these two were really siblings.

However, this time around, she didn’t say anything but watched with a heavy heart trying to find anything that she could use to refute that but she was destined to fail.

Ten minutes after the brother arrived that convoy arrived and Candice felt like she had been hit by a heavy blow in these few minutes.

She wasn’t the only one but the viewers were very stunned.

They knew that they were watching a rich people show but this was the first time they were actually feeling it that it was indeed the case. After all, where else would they be able to see seven sports cars at an amusement park of all places.

Zavier watched helplessly as the following cars parked next to his. An Alfa Romeo Giulia GTP, Audi RZ5, Chevrolet Corvette CR1, Ferrari Foma Spider, Maserati KT2 and Lamborghini Kuracan EVO.

When it comes to splurging on cars, no one does it like his friends. They were very good at it and honestly, seeing it now, he couldn’t help but feel mixed emotions.

Friends of a prodigal should look like one. And he was loving this exquisite line up. It was as if they knew that they were going to be recorded and picked their best cars from the garage. Surely, these friends knew to give him face.

“Brother! Hehe, your friends really know how to make an entrance!” Pearl said excitedly, her eyes shining as she looked at this large-scale entrance.

Zavier looked at Pearl who was acting like a child. It was as if these types of cars weren’t there in their garage. However, he liked seeing her happy and bubbly like this compared to what she was in his previous life.

“As long as you like it!” what can he say?
